"Let me introduce a new friend to you... hmm, maybe you already know him." Mr. Weasley stepped aside, gently pushing the somewhat nervous Cedric forward.
"Cedric Diggory, just graduated from Hogwarts not long ago, I think you all should be familiar with him."
The group nodded in unison.
Cedric, the Quidditch Captain, Head Boy, they had even participated in the D.A. activities together before, of course, they knew him.
More importantly, Harry once considered him his biggest rival... however, Cedric himself was unaware of this.
"So, have you joined the Order of Phoenix as well?" Harry inquired.
"Order of Phoenix?" Cedric instinctively looked towards Kael.
To be honest, he had only recently heard the name, and it was limited to just a name; he knew nothing of the specifics.
"It's like this..." Mrs. Weasley stepped forward to hold Cedric and began explaining the situation with the Order of Phoenix, with Hermione and others chiming in helpfully.
Meanwhile, Kael, Mr. Weasley, Fred, and George had already left the room once more and were heading to the plaza outside.
"Looks like we all had the same thought." Mr. Weasley said, "You should have recognized him too, right? The one sent to St Mungo's was the employee of Flourish and Blotts in Diagon Alley."
"Of course, he was a frequent customer at our shop." Fred said, "Those damned Death Eaters cost us a major client."
The group did not dwell on it and Apparated once more to the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron.
Upon arriving, they immediately saw the huge Dark Mark floating in the air.
The bar was in shambles, with broken bottles and overturned tables everywhere.
"Where's Tom Senior?" Fred scanned the area with a frown, "Could he have been..."
"Probably not." Mr. Weasley quickly shook his head, "Tom is a very shrewd person, I guess he might have sensed something was wrong and hid."
"Perhaps..." George said.
The group passed through the debris-laden bar to the back garden.
They guessed correctly, the entrance to Diagon Alley was open, with flames lighting up the sky, explosions echoing everywhere, and the shrill laughter of Death Eaters resonating.
The shopkeepers had united to arduously fend off the Death Eaters' assault.
Kael even saw someone from the Quidditch Boutique wielding a precious Firebolt like a bat against the spells cast by the Death Eaters.
The next second, the curse was deflected aside.
This wasn't surprising, after all, the Firebolt, as the top-tier broom, had powerful protective charms on the shaft to ensure players wouldn't be disturbed while flying, and naturally, it could deflect most jinxes as well.
It's just that very few would do so; even Kael was seeing it for the first time.
"Damn it, hasn't the Ministry of Magic's support arrived yet?" Someone shouted, trying to maintain a protective charm.
But the only answer was the merciless laughter of the Death Eaters.
"Stop wasting your effort."
"The Ministry of Magic is too busy with its own problems now to care about you."
"Exactly, just surrender to us—"
Before he could finish, a sudden spell flew over and blasted him away, leaving him unconscious on the ground.
The Death Eaters turned around and saw more spells coming at them from behind.
"Stupefy!"
"Stupefy!"
Because there were others present, Kael didn't use widespread magic or his box, only basic charms and transfiguration techniques, but it was still very effective.
Almost everyone he targeted was hit by the spells without exception, losing their ability to resist.
Then there were Fred and George, who were slightly less skilled than Kael, but possessed a lot of magical gadgets, throwing round objects while casting charms.
Some objects emitted a thick green fog upon exploding, others sprayed sticky, glue-like substances, having surprising effects on the Death Eaters.
Even Mr. Weasley had strength comparable to an Auror.
Given the surprise of the situation, though they were only four, they fought with the vigor of over twenty people, managing to gain the upper hand in a short time.
