17th Day of Stellarium Moon, Year 522
- It's been week since Me and Mom has gotten to the capital and we have reported the monsters that attacked our village. The knights came back yo us today and said that there is no signs of the monsters only an empty village. Although we see them in the dark.. always.
32nd Day of Aquaris Moon, Year 522
- Mom got me basic education today. She instructed me to master even only the basics of swordsmanship. The monsters are trying to get closer to us. No one believes us about them.
3rd Day of Alkaris Moon, Year 524
- One of the monsters managed to take Mom's arm due to one of the lanterns burning out. And although it costed a fortune. We manage to bid for a branch of the World Tree to make lanterns that never burns out.
1st Day of Alkaris Moon, Year 531
- I returned to the capital today after hearing about Mother's death her burial is today.
2nd Day of Alkaris Moon, Year 531
- The monsters have gotten bolder attacking more often. Makeing my job as a travelling merchant harder. I'm heading to the City of Viscaris in a week. Hopefully i can sell a lot of wares there. I heard sightings of the monsters in my travel. They call them Shadow Walkers or Void Creatures.
Flipping the pages of the diary to the first page Amalia reads
"Reminder to self"
"They hide in the shadows"
"Gods in the darkness, Mortals at light"
"The light is your saviour"
"Let it go and death shall arrive"
Closing the the diary, Amalia looks up gazes at the towering walls of the City of Viscaris.
The moonlight making her flowing silver hair glimmer in the night.
Looking back the pathway to the city behind she sees spot a solid void of pitch black, gripping the lantern she carries tightly she stops walking to the city.
"Fireball"
She chants before a small ball of fire forms in her hand before throwing it to the darkness.
BOOM!
The fireball explodes on the void of darkness revealing the void creatures hiding within it, the fire spreading light around the area.
RAAAUGHH
The creatures scream out in pain, being hit with the fire and light.
The darkness scatters.
The monsters retreat.
Amalia looks around her surroundings one last time before continuing her way to the gates of the City of Vidcaris
