Breaking through the protective shield of the Hall of Justice, the cloak carried him soaring into the sky. Because the Lantern Ring on his finger was gleaming, the other Lantern Demons besieging the Hall of Justice completely ignored his existence.
Su Ming was immune to the control of the Lantern Group, which essentially was a rejection of their power.
Apart from a tangible Lantern Ring, he hardly gained anything. However, perhaps due to the ring's supplementary abilities, he could now speak in space.
Consider it a pleasant surprise. Su Ming's original goal was the identity represented by this ring; he only intended to use it as a pass.
"Strangulation, disguise me in their uniform style."
Flying mid-air, Su Ming gave the order, and soon, he transformed into a generic-looking Unseen Light Lantern Demon.
His target was the Eclipse Star at the edge of the Solar System, gradually closing in on Earth, like a second black sun.
Massive solar flares traversed its surface, stretching in space like the tentacles of a Sea Monster.
Surrounding it were numerous obscure planets, captured and absorbed by it, now orbiting like its devotees.
They revolved around the Eclipse Star with a unique rhythm, forming an immense galaxy.
They cannot proceed any further; the bizarre energy radiating from the Eclipse Star is affecting the Solar System, assimilating the planets on the edge.
Passing through the debris belt formed by Moon fragments, Su Ming saw from afar that John and Steel Bone were being fiercely beaten by Sinestro. The red-faced man's strength was beyond ordinary Lantern Heroes.
Sinestro manifested a slew of monsters, leaving the two without any power to retaliate.
Su Ming chose not to intervene in their battle, as it was pointless worrying. Steel Bone possessed the Mother Box and could open a sonic boom passage for a swift escape. He had more pressing matters to attend to.
The only odd thing was the absence of the other Green Lantern Heroes. Although only one Green Lantern Hero per sector was the rule of the Lantern Group.
But Hal, notorious for bending rules, had given Earth a special pass.
Sector 2814, where Earth is located, still had four Green Lantern Heroes even excluding Kael Renner who became the White Lantern Hero and Guy Gardner the Red Lantern Demon.
When Hal was absent, they frequently filled in at the Justice League, and because Earth was essentially their home, they freely came and went, disregarding Lantern Group rules.
Besides Hal and John, the remaining two were Simon Baz and his apprentice, Jessica Cruz.
Simon's abilities were exceedingly unique, capable of using the Lantern Ring to resurrect people, an exclusive among the Green Lanterns, known in the Book of Oa as 'the Miracle Worker'.
Jessica, meanwhile, was an ordinary Young Lady Warrior, although she once dated Barry.
Now, with such uproar in the Solar System and the absence of the Green Lantern Corps, Su Ming couldn't help but suspect that they too might be facing a crisis.
If that was the case, things were getting problematic.
...........
In fact, Hal Jordan, along with the Green Lantern Corps, and the Red, Purple, Blue, and Cyan Lantern Groups, plus the White Lantern Hero Kael, were fiercely resisting an assault from the Wall of Origin.
After Superman and Mars Hunter contacted the Totality fallen to Earth, the Wall of Origin situated at the edge of the DC Universe seemed to come alive too; those fixed Giants on the wall began to break free in statue form.
The Green Lantern Corps, always monitoring the Origin Wall, instantly noticed the anomaly. Initially dispatching a team, as the situation worsened, they fully mobilized.
Finding it still difficult, Hal summoned several acquaintances to bring their Lantern Groups for assistance, only barely holding the front lines.
Despite this, Lantern Heroes occasionally suffered injuries or sacrifices.
Hal, of course, noticed the situation in Sector 2814, but chose to trust the Justice League. He built the outermost defense line, leaving matters on Earth to his teammates.

Su Ming reached the edge of the Solar System, floating on the path that Eclipse Star would inevitably travel to Earth. As the distance shortened, the Fixed Star before him grew progressively larger.
Now, his field of vision was completely engulfed in a purple-black hue.
This Fixed Star had neither temperature nor light, seemingly absorbing the brightness from the Solar System continuously, like a massive black hole.
Its accompanying planets appeared zombie-like, exuding a dreary aura and displaying dim, uncertain colors.
Su Ming paused for a brief observation before advancing towards the massive Fixed Star. Although mentally prepared, seeing it firsthand was somewhat overwhelming in size.
His plan required locating its weakness, necessitating a closer look yet keeping a safe distance to avoid being trapped by the star's immense gravity.
However, a purple ray suddenly streaked past him, forcing Su Ming to halt.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Sinestro appeared behind him, wearing a black and purple uniform, his red face displaying a mocking grin.
So, he was seen through? He saw Sinestro near the Moon, and naturally, Sinestro would have noticed the odd Lantern Demon.
Su Ming initially thought Steel Bone and John could hold out a bit longer, unexpectedly they faltered so soon.
He patted his chest, and Strangulation slid down through the gaps in his armor, revealing the black and yellow armor beneath.
Sinestro smirked, his head tilting curiously.
"So, it's you, the Deathstroke from Otherworld. The Yellow Lantern recorded your presence, your soul bears an Eastern name, and you haven't been truthful with the Justice League."
"Long time no see, Sinestro. It feels like just yesterday we fought side by side." Su Ming secretly prepared for combat, pondering Sinestro's weakness...
"Hahaha, it's not too late to fight side by side now. You and I, both wielders of the Unseen Light, can together welcome destruction." The red-faced man extended a hand to Su Ming.
Su Ming had no intention of shaking hands, instead drawing the Nightfall Greatsword, the Magic Floating Cloak billowing behind him, while Strangulation fortified every muscle of his.
"Where's your Yellow Lantern? Are you tired of playing with it?"
"In the face of destruction, these things no longer matter." Sinestro raised his hands, not in surrender, but to draw power directly from the Eclipse Star, as if two purple rays of Lightning charged into his arms.
Though their conversation continued, it was clear a battle was inevitable.
"What good does destruction do us?" Su Ming questioned. They all relied on this universe to exist, and destroying it obviously wouldn't benefit anyone.
"It's to make a change, changing a decaying future..." Sinestro clenched his fists, the purple-black glow spreading over him, burning like ghostly flames: "Come, I shall reveal the innermost secrets to you all. Then you will understand... everyone is a traitor heretic! Everyone shall fear my divine light!"
