Chapter 432 - Chapter 400: Heaven's Assault

God used seven days for creation, but Luthor believed he could be faster.

"Cheetah and Black Manta, act according to plan. It's the third day of Genesis."

Black Manta fastened his gigantic oval helmet, a red light flashed in his eyes: "Let's go, my submarine has arrived."

The two left the cave to execute Luthor's plan, and Luthor was well-prepared. Batman would not detect them by any means.

Luthor put away the 'door handle,' pressing his fingers rhythmically on the sofa armrest, and looked back at Circe.

"Come with us. Once Hecate's power is fully concentrated in you, our magical prowess will completely surpass the Justice League."

Circe smiled; she had been waiting for this day for too long. After a boring few thousand years, she could finally see the true essence of witchcraft.

No, not see, but become the witchcraft itself...

"Aren't you worried that that Otherworld Deathstroke will ruin your plans?"

Circe felt a bit uneasy. That Deathstroke was unpredictable, which meant many surprises.

Luthor shook his head at the witch with a smile: "No, he's a free outsider, with no reason to oppose me to the end... Do you play video games?"

Circe was puzzled, not understanding why Luthor suddenly brought this up.

Although she was from an earlier time, she wasn't the conservative type. Though she rarely used computers and phones, out of curiosity, she did try a few games.

Seeing her nod, Luthor led her and Joker to the cave entrance. However, the Joker was obviously distracted, conversing with the plastic flower on his chest.

Luthor would not bother with him; no one could control the Joker. He joined the Destruction Legion just to watch Batman suffer.

"I play simulation games; he plays role-playing games. While I build cities and planets, altering residents' stats and the direction of civilization... he's busy rummaging through villagers' lockers and wardrobes for his own gain, walking the path of transcendence."

"Then he'll try to surpass you," Circe said coldly, having a bad feeling about that man: "He has too much unknown."

"No, because this isn't a real game. He can enjoy the pleasure of looting without facing the final Demon King. He just needs to leave." Luthor turned to her, his eyes void of any emotion: "Your unknown is nothing to me."

The Joker suddenly applauded, pulling his hair and laughing out loud: "Hehehehe, well said, my dear Hailax, tell me, did Batman cry in the future? Did he feel the pain?"

Luthor glanced at him, turned, and boarded his stealth plane with the two. It was true optical technology stealth, not the peculiar craft of Wonder Woman.

In a certain tone, he assured Joker: "Yes, he cried like a child, just before he died."

The Joker was momentarily shocked, his eyes rolling, but he said nothing, just laughed so hard he bent over, tears streaming down his face.

.........

Meanwhile, Su Ming and others were in Hell, finding chaos everywhere upon arrival. Hell was under attack.

Countless angels soared in the sky, wielding treasure swords and strange energy to harvest various demons, their eyes emitting unprecedented red light, repetitively uttering the same words like robots.

"My Lord commands you to obey."

"My Lord commands you to obey."

...

Numerous demons were engulfed in this red light, quickly assimilated and controlled, becoming machines only able to repeat this phrase, turning against their kind or spreading control.

"Either I've had too much to drink, or not enough," Albella set up a shield, protecting several people, though her strength lay in attack spells; her defense was evidently lacking: "There's an ancient Eastern saying, 'Fortunes change, the wheel of fate turns,' yet I never thought I'd see the day Heaven counterattacks Hell."

Donna raised her shield defensively, observing the angels flying about in the sky. Perhaps humans were lower on the enemy list, so the angels currently didn't attack them.

"These angels... something seems off."

"It's like they're controlled by something... The world is truly full of wonders, what could wrest control of angels from God?"

Su Ming continued her line, watching the devastation brought by the angels, feeling somewhat uneasy.

Do these birdmen intend to destroy Hell, representing 'Chaos'? This is not favorable for the balance of world powers.

An angel flew to the outside of their shield, his body bare, white wings flapping continuously, though his red eyes were anything but holy.

He looked at them and mechanically commanded: "My Lord commands you to obey."

Su Ming turned to the gorilla, who just shrugged: "I don't know what's going on, but I've never worshipped any god, nor do I intend to obey any."

"Well said, you're a good gorilla."

Su Ming felt an unknown psychic wave emanating from the angel, with the Magic Floating Cloak twitching, alerting him of an energy attack trying to rewrite his will.

But Mind Skills? Even without the Magic Floating Cloak's resistance, he was completely immune. Wasn't World Origin Metal just a joke?

Donna had Chronos's amulet, immune to mind control. Gorilla Bo Bo wasn't human, making human control ineffective on him. Albella was a powerful warlock, naturally having her ways to counter.

Thus, the angel's ancient language command was like wind passing their ears.

"Sorry, go back and tell your superior that Deathstroke doesn't like being ordered."

The Nightfall Greatsword unsheathed, and with a single draw slash, the angel floating outside the shield was cleaved in half.

"Hmm, I thought angels were creations of light, yet they indeed have entrails."

Watching those scraps crash against the shield's outer layer and be evaporated by magic, Su Ming felt an impulse to find some cumin.

Angels' insides were clean, with no waste as they didn't eat.

Their organs were merely for show, so the meat was tender, and now the roasted organ's taste was pure, only with a meaty aroma.

Did Lucifer attack Heaven back then just for a barbecue?

Donna frowned slightly, as an Amazonian, proficient in slaughter. However, cleaving a person in half seemed somewhat excessive.

Amazonian fighting techniques emphasize group coordination and agility, while this overhead great sword slash felt more like a Northern European style.

This couldn't be blamed on Su Ming. Who let an asexual being float around stark naked in front of him, even with eyes aglow?

The pose was just right; not slashing felt incomplete.

The opponent had no armor at all, so to test the angel's defense, it was necessary to determine the tolerances of skin, muscle, and bone.

One sword stroke, and all desired data was obtained.

These low-tier angels were much stronger than ordinary demons, and extrapolating from this, named angels' strength must increase geometrically.

After all, Lucifer, the former ambassador, and archangels like Gabriel and Michael were known to be among the top echelon of the DC World.

But the angels' power came from God, and now it seemed God had some problem.
