Two thousand SS. I resisted the urge to start collecting. I had several options now. Increase everything fairly.
Or Spam Chakra or physique. I was leaning towards physique for two reasons. One, it could be evolved. 10X85+10X100=1850. Evolution was always better than simple stats. And two, as a Fuinjutsu master, my fights were less about the Ninjutsu I knew and more about what seals I threw out and where.
Physique increased reaction time, mobility, and durability. While Chakra could increase the number of tags I made, Control could increase the number of tags and the quality of tags I could make. It was a tough choice. I also noticed that my control had gone up by one. Without investment. And I was thinking that maybe, just maybe, it could be trained.
I was also starting to realize something. Training increased quantity. System upgraded Quality. My Chakra and Physique grew through training. But the growth was different. I had more chakra didn't mean it was denser. I just had more of it. Like a lot of cheap gasoline mixed with water vs hardcore diesel. Which is why the points on the chart didn't go up.
Physique basically meant bloodline. Chakra options basically meant Spirit. (Spirit and soul are different!)
It was a tough call. But in the end, the greed for evolution won out. So without wasting more time. I went with Physique. Mostly because that smoke fight in the Chunin exams had scared me. That dodge hadn't been fast enough. And the Yamigami won't be strong enough to fend off a Jonin for decades. We will see war way before then.
I felt the power rise and the current flow. I only bought 10 points. I was not gonna go through that pain again. And so it continued for the next 8 days. On the 9th, I was ready.
I found a secluded spot near the familiar lake. And pressed confirm.
As the warmth and current spread. A familiar prompt appeared.
Prodigy Phisique maxed out.

I burned. But this time the pain was bearable. It was a lot stronger as my cells died and were reborn. Perhaps because my soul had grown. The process was more vivid.
I felt the energy rise from my heart and meld with the cells being born. These new cells were created to process Chakra more easily. Not the control. But the amount they could store and use was increased. The durability and resilience, too. All those cells dying and discarding formed the gunk I had to wash. The process lasted the entire day. But no worries. I had told the clan I was on a small mission and might not be home in time. For the last part, as my eyes and brain evolved. The pain was the strongest. I wondered how I was being kept alive? But I guess this is why the system takes time to evolve. Few cells at a time. Not enough for me to die at any given point in time.
Finally, the prompt came.

I decided to try out my newfound power. I had four times the physique I initially had. I couldn't even walk properly. Like a baby learning to walk. The best upgrade was the eyes and hands. I hadn't taken into account the hand-eye coordination needed for complex multi-layered Fuinjutsu seals.
I guess. Fuinjutsu shall benefit after all. After getting used to the body. I went back to the clan. Only to find my cute little bodyguards worried sick.

I was summoning the whole clan. I had been thinking. I took input from whoever was near and decided on things. It was time to hear their concerns properly in an organized way. We didn't want to be dictators, did we?
