The Beginning After the End (TBATE) is an epic fantasy story that follows the life of a powerful, yet solitary, monarch who gets a second chance at life when he is reincarnated into a new world of magic and fantastical creatures. 

Plot Synopsis :

King Grey's Past Life:   In his original life, King Grey was an unparalleled monarch known for his strength, wealth, and fame. Despite his power, he was isolated and trusted no one, living a life devoid of personal connections and purpose. His life ends abruptly and mysteriously.
Rebirth as Arthur Leywin: Grey is reborn into the vibrant continent of Dicathen as an infant named Arthur Leywin. He retains all the memories and wisdom of his past life.
A New Beginning and Purpose: Surrounded by a loving family (his parents Alice and Reynolds, and later his sister Eleanor) and companions, Arthur experiences happiness and genuine bonds for the first time. He decides to live a life with purpose, correcting past mistakes and protecting those he loves.

Mastering Magic and Adventure:    Arthur quickly learns to harness mana, developing rare elemental affinities (quadra-elemental mage) and a powerful dragon "bond" named Sylvie. He attends Xyrus Academy, becomes an adventurer, and positions himself as a respected figure in the new world.

War and Conflict:   A sense of déjà vu strikes as war looms between the continent of Dicathen and the Vritra clan (banished deities ruling another continent, Alacrya). Arthur discovers he was not reborn by chance and that the war is tied to his mysterious reincarnation.
Rising as a Leader and Sacrifice: As the war intensifies and sacrifices are made, including Sylvie giving up her physical form to save him, Arthur must embrace a leadership role. He faces the challenge of fighting powerful Asuras and Vritra, all while grappling with his fear of becoming the cold, war-hardened "monster" he once was in his previous life. The conflict forces him to evolve, even leading him to learn how to manipulate Aether, a unique form of energy that no one else can control.
