As the months passed, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu were revived thanks to Namek's Dragon Balls.
Everyone learned that Goku was alive and had defeated Frieza. However, he was stranded on another planet, training while his space pod was being repaired, and he refused to return to Earth. What effects will the future warning about the androids have on the characters' training and preparation? How will Goku's heart virus impact his ability to train and fight during the Cell Games? What events led to the mysterious boy's arrival and his knowledge of their timeline?
**Age 764**
Almost a whole year has passed, and
Bulma's and Goku's third child was born. Shortly after arriving back on Earth, Bulma found out she was six weeks pregnant. Bikini is almost a spitting image of Gine. Just like her oldest brother, she was born with spiky black hair, eyes, and a brown tail.
All Namekians had left Earth after wishing for a new Namek. Now, every Z fighter, including Vegeta, was standing in shock in the middle of a desert, watching as a mysterious Super Saiyan boy cut Frieza in half straight down and easily took out Frieza's father, King Cold, like they were nothing.
The mysterious boy asked to follow him, as Goku would arrive within the hour. As they had waited nearly an hour, Ryu noticed the blue-haired boy kept staring at him and his mother frequently.
Upon Goku's arrival, the enigmatic boy approached him. As Goku and the boy disclose his identity. He then inquires of Goku about Ryu's identity and why Bulma possessed a Saiyan tail.
Goku told Trunks why Bulma had a tail due to the wish she made when they first met. And that Ryu was their second-born son, Bulma's and his. That confused Trunks greatly, as he realized he didn't just travel back into the future but also traveled into a different timeline.
As Trunks left in his time machine, Goku approached everyone else. When they asked him what the boy wanted and who he was, Goku struggled to find the words to explain. Ryu then spoke, seeing that Goku was worried.
"Don't worry, Father, I won't say anything that could cause trouble for him. But if you think about it, you have nothing to worry about since there are many changes already."
Bulma then places a hand on Ryu's shoulder.
"Hey, Ryu, you heard what your dad and that boy talked about from here?"
"No, I don't have that good of a hearing, but I have excellent eyesight and could read both dad's and that guy's lips from here. That guy came from the future. He came to warn us that in three years, two androids will appear and cause chaos in the world. These androids kill most of us in the future that guy came from."
After Ryu finished talking, everyone agreed to train for the next three years and meet up at Amenbo Island, nine miles south of South City.
As everyone left, Ryu stopped to talk to his parents and Gohan.
"There was one more thing that guy said. He said that our dad died in the future from a heart virus and gave him the medication created after his death. We all should make sure Dad takes his medication because he will forget."
His mother and older brother agreed and were ready to fly back home, but Goku stopped them. Goku requests that Gohan and Ryu train with Piccolo for at least a month. That he and their mother need a lot of time to catch up.
Age 767 Android/Cell Saga
Ryu "Age 10, Power Level after Zenkai Boost from revival, after Namek 10,500,000."
Gohan "Age 11.5, Power Level After Namek 5,700,000."
It's been three years since Goku's return from Planet Yardrat. During those three years, Goku and his sons trained constantly in a Gravity room built by Bulma, Dr Brief, and Ryu. Within the last six months, Bulma gave birth to Trunks. That's something Goku was trying to achieve since he felt somewhat bad about Future Trunks not existing due to Bulma not ending up with Vegeta. Goku dedicated himself to spending every possible moment with Bulma, often multiple times a day, until she became pregnant. After that, he could finally kick back and focus on his training without a care in the world.
Everything went the same: Goku still got sick, and Yamcha got fisted by Android 20. Gohan and Ryu took Goku to their home. Vegeta was able to finish off Android 19 in his Super Saiyan form.
Android 20, also known as Dr. Gero, was killed by Android 17 after being released alongside Android 18 and Android 16. Vegeta eventually gets his ass kicked by 18, which leaves Vegeta confused. He was embarrassed that a woman had beaten him at his strongest, but also excited that he had found the perfect woman who was able to do so.
Cell finally made his appearance and went on a human buffet feeding spree. Kami ultimately chose to merge with Piccolo. As Kami penetrated Piccolo and reunited at last as one, he encountered Nail. Piccolo swiftly came to regret the fusion, as Nail and Kami incessantly chatted within his mind, leaving him no peace.
As Goku finally fully recovered from his Heart disease, every fighter went to meet at the Look Out and train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Goku trained with Gohan, and then Ryu decided to team up with Piccolo. The time came when Goku and Gohan emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as Super Saiyans. It was Piccolo and Ryu's time to go in, but tragedy struck, and Ryu fell to the ground, holding his chest and struggling to breathe. Everyone quickly realized what was happening to Ryu. Goku used his Instant Transmission technique to appear beside Bulma with Ryu in his arms.
Cell announces his tournament is happening in one week to the world.

When Ryu recovered, he realized everyone had left to fight Cell. He then rushes to where the fighting is currently taking place. When he arrived, the last thing Ryu saw was his father placing his hand on an obese second-form Cell, and then both Goku and Cell disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Gohan and the rest of the fighters felt a surge of power in the air, and as they looked up, they saw it was Ryu. Lightning began to fall around Ryu; his anger was running out of control, and the skies started to darken as Lightning fell upon Ryu, covering him in light. As the light slowly disappeared, Ryu had finally transformed into a Super Saiyan. Still, the hair color was different; it wasn't the usual golden blonde color that Gohan, Goku, or Vegeta had. Ryu was a yellowish neon green.
While everyone was distracted looking at Ryu, they all failed to realize that Cell had returned and was stronger than before.
Perfect form Cell then fired a ki beam toward Trunks, but at the last minute, Ryu appeared before Trunks and slapped away the ki blast from Cell that would have killed Trunks if it had hit him.
Ryu then flew off at top speed toward Cell as he explained how he had survived, but was interrupted by Ryu with a left hook to Cell's body. Gohan appears next to Ryu and lands an uppercut on Cell's jaw, sending him flying to the sky.
Both brothers looked at each other and nodded in unison. Gohan and Ryu both stand with their feet shoulder-width apart, slightly bending their knees to maintain balance. Join their palms in a cupped formation, ensuring a slight space between them. With their elbows tucked in and fingers loose, they focused intensely, gathering a significant amount of ki between their hands. In one swift and forceful motion, they thrust their hands forward, releasing their family signature finishing move, the Kamehameha wave, at Cell, where Cell suffered complete annihilation, vanishing without any remnants of itself to auto-reemerge.
Everyone then decided to head toward Capsule Corp, as Bulma had gathered the Dragon Balls days before Cell's tournament. The first wish after summoning Shenron is to bring everyone back to life whom the androids and Cell had killed. The second wish was to get Goku back from the dead. But he refused, stating that he was a magnet for trouble for the entire Earth. After hearing what Goku said, Bulma stepped in front of everyone.
"The hell you mean you'll stay dead in the other world. If you are putting the Earth in danger, you must take action to mitigate the damage. We will fix it as a family, plus you got me pregnant again, idiot. You're not leaving me behind to raise three Saiyan toddlers. Plus, Gohan and Ryu still need their father. So get your ass back to the world of the living, mister."
Everyone remained quiet after Bulma's outburst. Shenron, not wanting to anger a pregnant woman, forces Goku to return, and then he disappears into the sky with all of the dragon balls.

Seven years have passed since the attacks by the Androids and the bio-android known as Cell. Bulma gave birth to Goten, a spitting image of Goku. Goten just turned seven, and to the surprise of everyone, he can go Super Saiyan and does as well as Trunks. Becoming the youngest to achieve Super Saiyan.
Gohan, now eighteen, decided to attend high school for his last year and try to have a somewhat normal life without having to save the world every time. He only trains with Goku and Ryu about one or two days a week, sometimes. But he remains true to himself in becoming a Scholar.
Ryu, on the other hand, didn't want to go to school, so Bulma hired tutors to homeschool him. By age eleven, he had finished High school, and by age fourteen, he had completed college with several degrees in physics, engineering, biology, and botany. Now, sixteen years old, Ryu spent his time working part-time alongside his mother and grandfather at Capsule Corp, and the rest of the time, when he was not working, he trained all day with his little brother, Trunks, and Goten, as well as his father, Goku. Ryu also decided to leave Earth and train on Planet Yardrat for almost two years. Learning Spirit Control, Forced Spirit Fission, Healing, Instant Transmission, Multi-Form, and Magic Materialization.
The 25th Tenka-Ichi Budoukai World Martial Arts Tournament arrived, and most Z fighters decided to join the tournament.
During one of the fights, Gohan's new girlfriend, Videl, was severely beaten by Spopovich, which angered Gohan. A mysterious fighter by the name of Shin approached both Goku and Ryu. He had purple skin with a white mohawk and wore a blue coat with a red lining, an orange waistcoat, a pale teal, long-sleeved shirt, and matching pants, all accompanied by red boots. He also had on a pair of yellow earrings.
Shin revealed that he was the Supreme Kai, having come down to Earth on a crucial mission to stop the revival of a being known as Buu. He suggests we avoid getting involved in the imminent fight between Gohan and his assistant, Kibito. No matter what, we must let Gohan's power be absorbed by Babidi's minions and carefully track them back to their lair.
As Babidi's minions took Gohan's power, a sense of foreboding enveloped Shin. He had completely misjudged the incredible power that Gohan held within him. Ryu passed Gohan a Senzu bean, and in an instant, Gohan's power surged back to life after he consumed the Senzu bean. Goku, Gohan, Ryu, Piccolo, and Vegeta took off and followed Babidi's minions, Spopovich and Yamu.
As they all flew in the air, Roku increased his speed and approached Shin.
"Hey, Shin, so who is this Buu that you are afraid of so much?"
"Buu is not a person you can talk to. He is a monster. Millions of years ago, I lived in the Sacred World of the Kai with four other Kais. I was the youngest of the Supreme Kai and the weakest. When Buu appeared, that monster killed both the West and the North Kai. But he didn't stop there, and then Buu turned his attention to South Supreme Kai and ate him. Buu then tried to kill me next, but thanks to Grand Supreme Kai, I still live but Grand Supreme Kai was eventually absorbed by Buu moments later after saving me."
An idea came to Ryu after hearing Shin's story.
"Could it be that this Grand Supreme Kai character is still alive inside Buu? If that's the case, I might be able to help him using a technique I learned during my training with the people of planet Yardrat."
Shin began to think as he continued to fly about what Ryu just said.
"I would love for you to save Grand Supreme Kai and see him one more time, but releasing him would revert Buu's transformation to his primal self. He would be uncomfortable and unstoppable."
As they reach Babidi's lair, the Z fighters, joined by Shin and Kibito, engage in a showdown with his minions and decisively defeat them. Alas, they had come just a moment too late. Buu broke free from prison thanks to all of Gohan's stolen energy. During the battle against Buu, Ryu unleashed a colossal ki blast that pierced through Buu's form effortlessly, striking Babidi, who stood unsuspectingly behind him, resulting in his swift demise.
Shin advises everyone to stop because Buu is too much for everyone. As he devised a plan, Ryu convinced Buu not to attack anyone on Earth, and in return, Ryu gave Buu his stash of junk food he had stored in his capsule.
Piccolo, Krillin, Trunks, and Goten stayed behind to watch Buu in case anything happened. Goku and Vegeta went to the Lookout and trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. As for Gohan and Ryu, they went with Shin to the Secret Planet of the Kias.
Gohan proudly pulled the Z sword from the ground and began his training. Ryu threw a barrage of massive boulders toward Gohan, who deftly cut them in two with his sword, showcasing his incredible skill. Shin noticed that and began to forge a dark metallic cube. He declared that it was the strongest mineral in the entire cosmos. Gohan unleashed a mighty swing of his sword, aiming to cleave the cube in two, but the blade shattered dramatically upon impact.
As the Z sword shattered, a fresh voice echoed, capturing everyone's attention. It was a more mature version of Kai. He declared himself the Supreme Kai from fifteen generations past, sealed within the sword eons ago by a slothful and dreadful deity.
After deciding that Gohan should be the one to have his sleeping power awakened by the old Supreme Kai, Ryu chose to return to Earth and meet up with Goku to keep an eye on Buu, preferring not to spend 25 hours watching Gohan stand still, doing nothing. Upon returning to Earth, Ryu devised a strategy to confront Buu.
Twenty-five hours had elapsed, indicating that Gohan's ritual was nearing its conclusion. Goku and Ryu assembled at the location where Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten were present. He subsequently outlined his plan to all present. Goku asks him if that was his That brings to mind, hey Gohan, is your power awakening ritual over yet? "
"Yes, why do you ask, Dad?"
"Well, your brother is coming here with Buu any moment using his teleportation. We'll go to Ryu when he arrives using my teleportation, and help him take out Buu. So be ready and power up all the way. We'll be taking him out in one combined attack, the three of us."
"Okay, sounds good, Dad."
Ryu, witnessing his father Ki disappear from Earth and appear in the Kais' realm, grinned as he captured Buu, who was still reverting to his original state. He then vanished in a flash, appearing in the hidden realm of Kai, touching down a bit away from Goku, Gohan, Shin, and the ancient Kai.
Ryu delivered a powerful kick to Buu with all his strength. He ascended into the sky, channeling his energy and unveiling his new form, Super Saiyan 2. Moments later, Goku materialized beside Ryu along with Gohan. Upon arrival, they were both taken aback to find Ryu in Super Saiyan 2 form. Goku, with a smile and beaming with confidence, focuses his Ki and unveils his latest transformation, Super Saiyan 3. Gohan taps into his full potential without undergoing a Super Saiyan transformation. His new power was equal to or even exceeded Goku's Super Saiyan 3.
As Goku and his sons began to channel their Ki energy for the secret legendary technique of the Turtle Hermit School of Martial Arts, the Kamehameha wave. As the creature known as Buu reverted to its original and authentic self, Goku, Gohan, and Ryu unleashed the unstoppable blue wave of energy, obliterating Kid Buu upon impact, leaving no opportunity for escape or evasion.
Joy radiated from everyone as they showed their victory over the formidable Kid Buu and the successful rescue of the Grand Supreme Kai.
"Hey guys, don't you think this was too much overboard?"
"What do you mean, son?"
"You know, we're combining our attacks all in one. Overpowering Buu easily."
"No, Gohan, it was a must. Buu can regenerate himself. So, no, I don't think we went overboard with all our powers. Now, we must make sure Buu is dead."
" I guess you're right, Ryu."
Goku thought of an idea and vanished into thin air, employing his Instant Transmission technique. In the blink of an eye, Goku was back, grinning from ear to ear. Ryu narrowed his eyes after seeing his dad smiling.
"Where did you go, Dad?"
"Nowhere, in particular, Gohan. I just paid a visit to my old friend, King Yama. He confirmed Buu's death."
Ryu felt uneasy. Something was wrong, but he couldn't think what.
"What did you do, Father?"
"What, I didn't do anything, trust me."
Ryu just sighted. The only thing he wanted to do was to return home and eat.
Age 774
Several weeks have passed, and Ryu awoke early in the morning and showered. He went to the Capsule Corp labs to collaborate with his mother and grandfather. Bulma and her father had been collaborating on a Reactor designed to provide free electricity to impoverished villages around the globe for over a year. After countless grueling days and intense lab hours, Ryu emerged from the Capsule Corp facilities, walking towards his room to shower, cleanse himself, and recharge for the next challenge. He carefully mapped out his day, beginning with the moment the arc reactor powered up, then after that, he would fly over to the sacred place, Mount Paozu, at their family vacation home for several days of intense training, thrilling dinosaur tail hunting, and well-deserved downtime.
After Ryu had freshened up, an explanation occurred that came from the Capsule Corp labs, and it rattled the entire building. Ryu had only his Gi pants on when he used his Instant Transmission technique and appeared outside the labs where his grandfather, Dr. Brief, was with some scientists and interns.
"Grandpa, what happened?
"Ryu, we tried to turn on the reactor, and it was working for the first few minutes, then it exploded."
Dr. Brief had a worried look on his face as he stared toward the laboratory.
"Bulma is still in there. We need to get her to safety."
"Mother is still in there."
Ryu rushed into the laboratory without a moment's pause. As he took his initial action, he observed a dark hole where the nuclear reactor had been, drawing in everything around it. Bulma's unconscious body was hurtling toward the black hole, on the brink of being consumed by its immense gravity. Ryu hurriedly approached and clutched his mother, aware that his father, sensing his ki, was just behind him. Ryu threw his mother's body to his father, saving her from being drawn into the black hole. In the end, Bulma was safe, but sadly, Ryu fell into the swirling abyss, its immense force closing immediately behind him as he vanished into the unknown.
