He had to consider what constituted normal contact, whether Hitori might misunderstand, whether it would cause her pressure, and so on.
"Don't worry about me, Ren. Just do what you want to do. I have no intention of affecting your relationship with Bocchi-chan. All I want now is to stay by your side, even if just as friends."
