Chapter 110 - Chapter 110

Chapter 110: Meeting My Sister-in-law for the First Time Was Quite Harmonious

Haruna currently felt so embarrassed she could dig out a three-bedroom apartment with her toes. Hugging a cushion, she occasionally tilted her head slightly to steal a glance at Ren, who had been chased into the living room by Renako.

This brother-in-law was more handsome and mature than she had imagined. Even though he had been accidentally caught by her, he hadn't panicked or blushed in shame but remained composed.

This was something he had practiced. After all, Ren was no stranger to situations where, while being intimate with Yuno and the others, Hitori from the Band would suddenly return and naturally join in. Compared to that, this situation was far less awkward.

While Haruna was secretly watching him, Ren was also observing Haruna.

Compared to her sister, Haruna appeared more fashionable, something evident from her hairstyle to her attire. At a glance, she even seemed taller than Renako, though her figure wasn't as good as Renako's.

"May I call you Haruna directly?"

After a brief observation, Ren took the initiative to greet this more mature sister-in-law. This was one of the perks of being Renako's partner—he could quickly exchange names and deepen their bond.

"Of course. May I call you brother-in-law too?"

The only embarrassment came from accidentally witnessing her brother-in-law and sister being intimate. When it came to socializing, Haruna was undoubtedly skilled. Though her cheeks were slightly flushed, she met Ren's gaze openly and confidently.

Her eyes held a mix of shyness, excitement, and curiosity.

The term "brother-in-law" and his existence had always felt distant to her before, but now the real person was sitting right beside her—and it was Watanabe Ren, no less.

"Of course. Renako has told me a bit about you, though not too much. Would you mind chatting with me for a while? After all, she probably won't dare to come down and face anyone for a while."

"Mm-hmm, before that, there's one thing I'm really curious about, brother-in-law. How did you end up falling for my sister? She's actually quite ordinary, isn't she?"

This was something Haruna couldn't wrap her head around. Although her sister had some charm, there were plenty of pretty girls out there. To someone like Ren, Renako should have been out of his league.

But if she suspected Ren was toying with Renako, the fact that they had come home together and were so intimately close didn't seem fake.

So, what was it about Renako that attracted Ren? Could it be that her sister had some hidden virtues she hadn't noticed?

"Because I really like girls with pink hair, and Renako happened to barge into my world. We've been together since the start of school, and as we spent time together, I felt we were a good match."

Ren offered his prepared line. This was bound to puzzle many people, but explaining it wasn't complicated. He liked girls with pink hair—that was enough to quell others' doubts.

"You like girls with pink hair?"

Then, could I be one too?

That was Haruna's first thought, but she quickly shook off the distracting idea, her face flushing. What was she thinking? Ren was her brother-in-law.

"Yes, you could say it's a personal preference of mine."

Ren smiled gently. When it came to his sister-in-law, he was always full of patience.

"I see, I understand. By the way, brother-in-law, could you give me your autograph? Actually, I'm your fan."

After figuring out why Ren had taken a liking to Renako, Haruna believed him and made a request.

This was good news for Ren. If Haruna still felt too distant to bring up such things, he would have had to figure out how to build a better relationship with her. But shortly after meeting, Haruna already felt comfortable enough to make requests—this wasn't overstepping, but rather showed their relationship was shifting from strangers to familiar.

"Of course, where would you like me to sign?"

"On the collar, please? I want to keep it forever!"

"Alright."

With that, Haruna went back to her room and brought out her favorite piece of clothing for Ren to sign. To make it more authentic, Ren even took the initiative to take a photo and post it on Twitter, so Haruna wouldn't have to worry about her friends doubting her when she showed it off.

Seeing this gesture, Haruna was so happy she could barely resist hugging him and acting spoiled. The way she called him "brother-in-law" became even more natural and affectionate.

Ren seized the opportunity, learning that their parents returned home late from work, he proactively went grocery shopping with Haruna and cooked dinner for them.

This was definitely a bonus—one doesn't necessarily have to do it, but it's good to know how. Not to mention Ren's cooking skills had reached the peak of perfection.

After dinner, not just Renako, but even Haruna's stomach had been completely won over by him.

However, this wasn't the most thorough conquest. The real conquest was like with Hitori and the others—after all, they had drunk milk, which represented a more complete conquest.

But Ren wasn't in a hurry. Before going home, Renako saw him off to his car.

"Finally brave enough to face people?"

Ren smiled faintly at Renako, who was still blushing. She had been too shy to speak ever since they were caught in an intimate moment.

"Hmph, it's all your fault for making me lose face in front of Haruna. But be careful on your way home."

Renako let out a light hum, but still looked at Ren with reluctant eyes.

"Mm, remember to send me Mai's LINE ID. I'll talk to her about those matters."

"Will you still play games with me tonight? You don't have other plans, right?"

"Nothing is more important than playing games with you. See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow~"

When he could have both his girlfriend and gaming, nothing could stop Ren from playing games.

But before that, after returning home, he first added Mai as a friend. After she sent back a question mark, he sent over the photos taken today, only to receive another question mark in return.

After stroking his chin and thinking for a while, Ren felt this might be somewhat dangerous, so he sent another message: "You're not going to use these photos as material for 'spellcasting', are you? That would be pretty gross."

The reply he got was some very unpleasant words that won't be written here.

After doing all this, Ren felt inexplicably refreshed. Teasing this kind of love rival was quite amusing—he couldn't imagine how Mai, beautiful as she was, could possibly compete with him.

In terms of emotions, Renako, who is already his girlfriend, would endlessly favor him.

In terms of practicality, no matter how long her fingers are, they can't compare to the usefulness of his greatsword.

Besides, the other party is a beautiful girl too. While others defeat numerous rivals to win the beauty's heart, Ren is now considering molding his rival into his own shape.

Why choose to be part of the LGBT community? Resolutely opposing LGBT starts with you, me, and him. Guiding a lost beautiful girl back to the right path also begins with you, me, and him.

Of course, saying that is one thing, but Ren doesn't have any concrete ideas at the moment.

As he pondered, he patted Yuno on the head. As the only one who could constantly keep an eye on him, Yuno always appeared when he needed her most, helping him resolve various troubles and needs.

This had become an unspoken understanding between him and Yuno. Without needing to say a word, Yuno could judge whether he needed help based on his previous actions. So this time she came—not out of gluttony, but simply to ease his worries. And this couldn't happen without Satou, who also came to the room after noticing Yuno's prolonged absence. They wouldn't disturb Ren's gaming, as it didn't conflict anyway.

Their cohabitation life was just this casual—discarding unnecessary rationality was a common occurrence.
