Chapter 140 - Be a decent guy for once and do me a favour (Shibuya-2)

Hi guys, author here! Please share your thoughts in the comments and reviews. And if you like it, don't forget to drop some stones — they're a great motivator!

The giant prison realm eye stared at Satoru as his mind raced at max speed, trying to understand how there could be another Gojo with [Six Eyes].

Seeing the confused look, Geto smirked.

Unlike what most people thought of the [Prison Realm], it didn't work by having the target that needs to be sealed within its vicinity for 1 minute.

What the Prison Realm actually measures is one minute's worth of time from the target's perspective.

If the target to be sealed has a superfast brain that processes information rapidly, then the [Prison Realm] will require relatively less time than it would normally take for a normal-brained person.

And for those reasons, this cursed tool was perfect to trap Satoru Gojo.

A [Six Eyes] user has an ultra-fast processing brain, capable of processing months—or even years—worth of thoughts within mere seconds, and Satoru Gojo did just that after encountering his supposedly dead friend and an unknown stranger who possessed [Six Eyes] and [Limitless].

The [Prison Realm] stretched around Satoru and bound him with the fleshy restraints.

Only after the restraints wrapped around him did Satoru realise what had happened and try to escape.

However, he could feel no response from his CE or CT.

He tried to brute-force his way out, but unfortunately, he wasn't as monstrously strong as Naoya.

'Shit. Naoya will yell at me for getting caught.'

Even when being this helpless, Satoru Gojo wasn't panicking at all.

He sighed deeply, cleared his head and glanced at the two people who stood in front of him.

"So? Who the hell are you guys? And what's with the forehead stitches?" Satoru asked and examined both Geto and the unfamiliar Gojo.

Both of those people had stitch markings on their foreheads, and it looked very suspicious if Satoru had to be honest. If only one of them had the scar, he could've dismissed it as an old injury, but both of them had almost the same stitches going around their foreheads.

'Probably a technique... And if we go by that assumption. Then this "Suguru" probably isn't the real thing either.'

"What are you talking about? I am Suguru Geto. I am hurt that you forgot me, Satoru."

"Yeah? Then free me so that we can hug it out for the sake of our long-time friendship. Now hurry up."

"...Haha, you really do remain calm in all sorts of situations. Are you simply insane? Can't feel the threat?"

"Me? Under threat? You guys are the ones digging your own graves, you know?"

The smirk from Geto's and the other Gojo's faces twitched.

"Now, let me take a wild guess? You will ask me how it is that you guys are the ones digging your own graves?"

"Go ahead, enlighten us." Geto gestured for Satoru to go ahead.

"First, you guys answer me. The information exchange should be equal right?"

Geto and the other Gojo narrowed their eyes at Satoru's words.

"You imbecile. I will kill you, rig-"

The other Gojo raised his hand to use his technique to attack Satoru, but Geto simply raised his hand.

"Stop it. The [Prison Realm] will backfire if you try to attack the person it has bound to. Go ahead, Satoru Gojo, ask away."

"Question's the same. Who are you guys, and how come there is another [Six Eyes] user in your ranks?"

"As I said, I am Suguru Get-"

"Again with the obvious lies."

Satoru looked at Geto with an uninterested gaze.

"Sigh, fine."

Geto grabbed a stitch on his forehead and pulled it out, and lifted the upper part of his head like a cap to show a brain with a mouth resting inside.

"I am not the real Geto Suguru, just someone using his body."

Geto put his head back and redid his stitches.

He then pointed towards the unknown Gojo.

This is your ancestor. I am forgetting his first name, but he was a past [Six Eyes] and [Limitless] sorcerer.

"Judging by the stitches, he, too, must just be a shell that is being manned by someone else."

"Tohihisa Negi.... nice to make an acquaintance. I have to admit, your powers are impressive. No wonder you guys remained in power for such a long time."

The other Gojo greeted Satoru with a mocking smirk.

"Body hoppers, huh."

Geto, or more accurately Kenjaku, smiled at Gojo's one-liner summary.

Well, he was a body hopper; there was no shame in that, but to think someone else apart from him would get that monklier. Life sure was unpredictable.

-----

A few months back, Kenjaku and his group made contact with curse users for their Shibuya attack.

Amongst those curse users, there was an old sorcerer, Ogami.

Ogami possessed an innate cursed technique called [Séance Technique]. This technique allowed her to call upon the dead and have her target inherit the body.

She could either summon the entire package with the body information and the soul, or even just the body information and have the person upon whom the technique is performed upon be in control of the body.

However, the power gained through this method was temporary and relied more on Ogami to shoulder the burden of having the soul and body present in the world, making it a one-time deal.

The technique worked with a ritual, and for this ritual, along with the chants, a fragment of the body that you want to call upon is needed.

This technique by no means was weak; if used properly, it was a super dangerous technique, but to show its true power, proper resources were needed.

This was where Kenjaku entered the equation to make this technique far more lethal than it already was.

Being an ancient body hopper obsessed with research, Kenjaku possessed fragments of many past powerhouses. This included Special Grade sorcerers as well.

However, maintaining a Special Grade sorcerer through Ogami's technique placed an immense burden on her and almost 99% of the time, she wouldn't even be able to use the sorcerer long enough to aid her in a fight or be usable for other tasks.

To overcome this limitation, Kenjaku developed a theory.

To use his own technique in conjunction with hers.

Kenjaku's innate technique [Brain Transplant] allows the target of the technique to extract their brain with all the information intact and have it transferred to other bodies.

The body also didn't need to be alive for the technique to be successful; even dead bodies worked for this technique.

By using his technique on some of his loyal subordinates and having them undergo a set of Binding Vows for the whole thing to be successful, and ensuring his subordinates couldn't betray him afterwards, Kenjaku thought to make himself have some strong sorcerers on his side as well.

At the time, the Jujutsu Society possessed an overwhelming advantage.

Satoru Gojo, Naoya Zenin, Yuta Okkotsu, and Yuki Tsukumo(if present).

The Jujutsu division had four Special Grade sorcerers.

If the power balance had not been maintained quickly, his plans would have failed.

For that, he either needed to weaken the other side or strengthen his side.

Weakening the other side was almost impossible, though. If he were to target the Special Grade sorcerers, there were high chances that the other Special Grades or other strong sorcerers would join in the fight.

To even try weakening the other side, strengthening his group was a necessity.

Ogami's technique was almost a godsend for his plans. It was almost as if someone was writing a story and gave him a valuable asset to balance both sides. {A/N: Must have been the wind. Definitely not me.}

Still, even with the combination of both his and Ogami's techniques, he couldn't accomplish his goal.

Kenjaku and Ogami set up the whole thing.

Kidnap some people, sedate them with enough of a dose to have them be asleep for an entire day, perform the [Séance Technique] on them and load only the body information.

Everything was perfect till this point. However, the moment the past sorcerer's body information was loaded, the effects of the drugs used to put the people to sleep started to vanish.

The body's new information overwrote the effects of the sedatives, and the person who was strapped to the bed, while having their heads be in the middle of being split open, wakes up and starts thrashing around, and with their newfound powers goes in to attack the people around them.

Even in some cases where they were able to restrain the people and have their skulls be open, the moment Kenjaku were to take off their brains, the body was marked dead by Ogami's technique and the technique was lifted, turning the person back into the original.

Kenjaku needed a way to have the body be alive long enough to swap the new brain and have his technique take effect, and remove the burden from Ogami.

After many failed attempts, Kenjaku was about to give up and believe that it was not possible.

However, as always, the world had given him the tools to aid his endeavour.

Kureaha Tojo.

Her technique [Thought Circuit Manipulation] was mostly believed to simply be a Mind Control technique.

However, instead of simply controlling minds, her technique affected the body's entire thought circuit.

From moving individual body parts to the beating of the heart. She could control everything if she was concentrating enough and was in direct contact with her target.

By utilising her technique, Kureha was able to simulate the body to be alive artificially long enough for Kenjaku to perform the brain transplant using his own technique.

The entire process was long and complex, but the result spoke for itself.

-----

Coming back to the present.

Kenjaku shook his head and looked at Satoru.

"So, Satoru Gojo? Satisfied with the answers? Now it is your turn to answer my question."

"Hm? Your question? Ah, the one about how you are digging your own grave thing?"

Kenjaku nodded.

"You see, you successfully captured me."

"Yes. It really is a great sight to see you like this."

"You probably had a hand in cursing Miyuki nee-san."

Kenjaku didn't say anything.

"I don't know whether you are an idiot or just living in your fantasy, but there is a huge threat out there who is gonna be hella pissed by what you did."

"...Naoya Zenin."

"Bingo!"

"Hah, and here I was thinking you were going to tell me something new. Do you think I won't have taken the other anomaly into account? Both of you are really huge thorns in my plans. If not for the [Prison Realm]'s restriction of only being able to be used once. I would have tried to seal him as well."

"So you had a one-time use item and decided to use it on the little old me and not my daddy? Oh boy, you are gonna regret it."

"Naoya Zenin is strong. I am not denying that, but the two of you possess the same amount of danger for us... and from my past experiences, it is better to have you be removed than him."

"PTSD?"

"You really have no sense of the situation you're in, do you?"

"Nah, I understand that I will probably be out of the whole thing for a while....and I really feel sad about it too. You don't know how much you are going to hurt my loved ones by doing this, and just by thinking that I want to strangle you and kill you. Making others worry over me is not something I really like..... but I also know that there is one guy amongst them who is gonna hunt you down and get me out. I just need to wait until that.....and you better pray that you are dead by then....because I promise you, if your destiny is to die by my hands, then whoever out there wrote that for you wants you to suffer a bloody, gruesome end."

Satoru Gojo looked at Kenjaku dead in the eyes with a totally cold and serious gaze.

Kenjaku could feel the weight from both Satoru's gaze and words, and for the first time in a long while, he felt speechless as a chill went down his spine.

However, a second later, Satoru Gojo's entire demeanour changed.

"Until that time, enjoy living in fear of my daddy. I get my crap beaten out of me when he gets slightly moody. You went ahead and did things that have 100% royally pissed him off. I can only imagine how much you are going to suffer, and just thinking about it is making me feel excited.....wait a minute, if I am trapped, I won't be able to witness that. Oi! Make sure to record the moment Naoya beats the absolute shit out of you and have it delivered to Jujutsu High so that I can watch it when I get out. Ok?"

Kenajaku and Tohihisa(fake Gojo) were speechless at Satoru Gojo's nonchalant behaviour.

The man was totally insane.

"Also, can you tell me when Suguru died?" Satoru asked.

"Why?"

"We need to know so that we can assign a day to mourn his death."

"You don't even know whether you will ever be able to get out or not, and are thinking about remembering your friend? As things stand, people will be mourning for you."

"...Can you do me a favour?" Satoru asked.

"Huh? Hahaha! Asking a favour from me, your enemy? You really are insane."

"Don't be like that. Be a decent guy for once and do me a favour." Satoru asked again with a smile.

"...Tell me, though, I will be the one to decide whether to do it or not."

"It's not a big deal. Just tell Naoya one thing when you meet him."

"A final message to your best friend. How romantic. So what is the message?"

Gojo simply shook his head. This body hopper dude simply refused to accept reality.

"Tell Naoya this, "If you successfully save me, I will let you touch me to your heart's content, daddy~ Muah~". Understood? Say it in exactly the same manner as I did."

Kenjaku blinked his eyes.

For some reason, Satoru Gojo looked even more serious right now than when he was threatening him.

"Make him feel the emotions from my words. I am entrusting an important job to you."

Satoru emphasised.

It might seem like Satoru Gojo was simply not giving a flying f*ck about his situation....and that would be absolutely true as well.

Though it wasn't like he was being serious when he told the fake Geto to deliver his message.....Okay, he was totally serious there, too.

But that wasn't the only reason why he was doing such things. He was currently dragging things out, buying as much time as he could for Naoya to arrive at Shibuya before these people started whatever they were planning.

Satoru wasn't worried about himself at all, but with the revelation of a [Six Eyes] and [Limitless] sorcerer on the enemy side, Satoru was now worried about others who were deployed in Shibuya.

Knowing himself very well, Satoru knew how much destruction the combination of [Six Eyes] and [Limitless] could cause, and he absolutely didn't want all hell to break loose before Naoya was there to handle the situation.

Kenjaku took a while to snap out of his thoughts after hearing Satoru's request and then looked back at him.

"...I will see whether your request could be fulfilled or not....On that note. We've talked long enough. Goodnight, Satoru Gojo. Let's meet in the new world. Don't worry, I will release you eventually....in a thousand or so years."

[Prison Realm: Seal]

The restraints holding Satoru back began to move as Satoru saw the cube pieces coming closer and the things darkening for him.

He saw Suguru Geto's face one last time before the [Prison Realm] closed up, successfully sealing Satoru Gojo.
