Before the three delinquent boys and the father who sided with his son without questioning or investigating could walk away a white smoke exploded in the middle of the two groups with the appearance of a man in white Onmyoji attire
"The Inspector!" Kaku's father shouted happily "You've come just in time sir Please punish these two children"
The Inspector looked at Naruto and Sasuke with pity before turning to look at Kaku's father and the three delinquent boys with anger
"You Tadao! You're siding with your son too much again" His shout made Tadao Kaku's father and the group of delinquent children flinch in shock that the situation was not going as he expected
"W-What sir I'm not siding with my son It's obvious my son was harmed by the Uchiha child"
"And have you asked your son properly Have you asked Sasuke yet?"
"Why ask the wrongdoer? The child will deny it anyway"
"Yes yes I'm very hurt Dad"

Kaku who realized he was about to be exposed quickly tried to find a way to talk himself out of it but the more he talked the worse he looked in the Inspector's eyes
"If you teach your son so poorly don't tell anyone that you were my former team member"
The Inspector looked at Kaku and Tadao with increasing anger
"I am one of the people who sets up the barrier protecting Konoha and today I was assigned to oversee the former Police Headquarters area. I have seen all along that your son's group comes every day to throw Kunai at the wall and today they were even more insolent aiming to throw at the police emblem which is also the Uchiha clan crest just to vent their resentment from being compared to Uchiha Sasuke"
This statement made Tadao flinch before trembling as he listened to the entire story through the Inspector's eyes. It left him speechless especially when he found out that the wound on his son's arm was caused by his son using a dirty trick to inflict a wound on himself to blame Sasuke
"Y-You ungrateful son Go home! It seems like Dad has to punish you severely for today's mistake"
"Go home easily like this after shouting at two innocent children? What an irresponsible Chunin!" The Inspector shouted angrily and his face became even sterner when he heard the vague excuse from his former student
"The demon fox's disguise and the one who survived the Uchiha clan are innocent?" Tadao finished speaking then collapsed from the Inspector's pressure "S-Sorry sir I was wrong"
"Good apologize to these two children and then you can go wherever you want" Tadao gritted his teeth before slowly getting up bowing his head slightly less than 10 degrees and giving a short abrupt apology then dragging his son and his delinquent friends home in frustration.
The Inspector sighed in exhaustion before turning to smile faintly at Sasuke and Naruto who were stunned and overwhelmed by the events unfolding before them
"I'm sorry Sasuke" The Inspector spoke before introducing himself as "Yamanaka Toshiko" a member of Ino's clan a sensor ninja.
He said that he currently serves as an inspector setting up the barrier protecting Konoha and he explained that on the night of the Uchiha tragedy they the people who set up Konoha's barrier could not detect the incident at all.
They only realized it when the police headquarters building collapsed the Uchiha compound was utterly destroyed and Itachi had already left the village
"It might sound like an excuse but as a representative of the barrier guard ninjas I apologize for our weakness that allowed your clan to be destroyed without being able to help"
After saying this he bowed 45 degrees holding it for 3 seconds which is a sincere apology called "Saikeire" which adults normally wouldn't apologize to children who are just ninja students like this. It greatly surprised Naruto and Sasuke
"It's alright sir It wasn't your fault at all" Toshiko looked up and slowly nodded at Sasuke's words before excusing himself to continue his duty. After speaking he dissolved into smoke and disappeared
