Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Ash's Invitation, Misty Joins the Team, the Harem King Appears in Group Chat!

"This weather is really weird. It was clear just now, and now it's suddenly raining. Could some Pokemon have used Rain Dance?" Underneath a huge rock, Misty patted the few raindrops on her head and complained discontentedly.

"What's Rain Dance?" As Newbie Ash, he shamed himself by asking.

For this girl he met on the road, Ash felt she really knew a lot.

The bosses in the chat group, although they have a lot of knowledge about Pokemon, maybe even stronger than many Champion Trainers, they certainly don't know anything about the history and experiences of his world.

There are some little bits of knowledge that Ash couldn't possibly run into the group just to ask. And if Misty hadn't brought them up, Ash wouldn't even know what little bits of knowledge he didn't understand.

"...Have you ever attended Pokemon knowledge classes? Why don't you even know what Rain Dance is?" Misty's bright green eyes stared tightly at Ash, filled with a look of doubt.

This person, aside from being a bit capable in battles and looking decent, seems to be just like a little kid, understanding nothing, knowing nothing.

"Well... during class, I got a bit distracted, didn't really pay attention, so I'm unclear about many things." Ash scratched his head, awkwardly replied.

His theoretical courses are indeed a mess. If there were a rule that he had to pass his theoretical courses before he could travel, he probably wouldn't be able to travel until he was twenty.

"I'm really amazed by you. If it weren't for that Aura Power of yours, you probably would have taken a big tumble shortly after starting out."

In reality, it really was just like Misty said. If Ash hadn't initially drawn Aura Power, never mind being swarmed by a flock of Spearow, he might not even have truly captured Pikachu.

Can only say, luckily there was the chat group, and luckily he drew Aura Power from it, turning his disastrous start into a heavenly one.

"It was wrong of me to get distracted during class... How about you join us?" Ash's bright eyes widened as he eagerly asked Misty.

"Join you guys?"

"Yes, meaning to travel with us. Misty, do you have any goals you want to achieve?"

Misty paused for a moment, then said with a look of aspiration, "I want to become a Water Type Pokemon Master! To become the strongest Water Type Expert under the heavens, and hopefully as strong as, or even stronger than Lorelei!"

Lorelei, one of the Elite Four of Kanto, specialized in Ice Type, water and ice go hand in hand, Lorelei also has profound mastery in Water Type Pokemon, so Lorelei is Misty's goal too.

"Water Type Pokemon Master, huh? I have no set attribute, my goal is to become a Pokemon Master, and first, I want to defeat Leon, becoming the strongest Trainer!" Ash clenched his fist, full of fighting spirit as he spoke.

"Leon? He's the strongest Trainer in the world, and you want to defeat him first! What will you do after defeating Leon? Fly up to the sky and stand shoulder to shoulder with the sun?" Misty remarked, somewhat speechlessly.

This person has limited knowledge, but lofty ambitions. First, defeat Leon, huh? Pardon her saying, even if given ten years, Ash might not be able to beat Leon.

If it were a real-life battle, he might actually have a chance at beating Leon.

"Hehe, anyway, I just want to defeat Leon! So Misty, are you going to travel with me?" Ash formally invited Misty.

Misty hesitated for a while, then eventually nodded, "Alright, well, I don't have anywhere else to go, might as well join you."

"Yay! Pikachu, we have a new partner!"

"Pika Pika~" Pikachu also showed a smile. Ever since teaming up with Ash, he hasn't been so resistant to humans, but more importantly, after spending a little time with Misty, he doesn't have much of a repulsion toward Misty.

Just like that, Ash's team successfully gained a new member. Ash hadn't expected that the first to join his team would be a human, not a Pokemon. That's just how unpredictable life can be.

Misty's joining was still very important for Ash. Regardless of Misty's strength, in terms of knowledge, Misty definitely overpowers him, so he has someone to ask about daily things he doesn't understand. If Misty doesn't know, he can ask the bosses in the group. He needs to make up for the knowledge he missed during class!

The rain kept pouring down while the dark sky and falling rainwater made people feel drowsy.

Although they had a place to shelter from the rain, the ground was still wet, making it impossible to sit. Misty was now leaning on her bicycle, while Ash casually leaned against the wall, with his eyes slightly closed, looking as if he were resting, but in fact, he had already entered the chat group.

...

[Newbie Ash: Bosses, I've just gained a new member here!]

[Breeder Ash: Oh? Did you capture a new Pokemon?]

[Newbie Ash: No, it's a person! Her name is Misty, and she knows a lot. I can ask her everyday questions without having to bother you bosses all the time. In the future, I can just ask her.]

[Champion Ash: Oh? Is it Misty from the Cerulean Gym?]

[Newbie Ash: Cerulean Gym? I don't know, she didn't say, but since she knows so much, she might be the gym leader.]

[Lady's Man Ash: Hello there, Misty! Newbie, make sure to seize this opportunity.]

[Newbie Ash: Opportunity? What opportunity?]

[Ash the Aura Guardian: Ignore that guy, he's the only one in the chat group with one thing on his mind.]"

[Lady's Man Ash: Hey! What are you saying? Don't you need to find a wife? Don't you need to have kids?! What do you mean by having one thing on my mind!]

[Aura Guardian: Haha, most people marry just one wife. Want to count how many you have? Newbie, you can learn from anyone in this chat, but don't learn from him, stick with this guy and you'll surely go astray.]

[Lady's Man Ash: Come on, I just found a blank slate. You may not be interested in romance, but don't influence the youth!]

[Champion Ash: Haha, well, the Lady's Man does have a point, using his knowledge to find a partner isn't bad. Just remember, don't bite off more than you can chew. Don't be as reckless as he is… Besides, since Misty agreed to your invitation to join the team, you should have new draws available. Go check the notification bar.]

[Newbie Ash: Alright!]

Ash couldn't really comprehend the other stuff the bosses were saying, but he did understand when they told him to check his draw count.

Ash shifted his gaze to the upper right corner of the group chat, where a flashing light indicated new notifications. He opened the notification bar, and indeed, there were several new messages displayed there...
