Chapter 127 - Chapter 126: Sky Magic

There's another person slumped in the corner.

Wendy is still young, her magic power insufficient, and whenever she uses Healing Magic, she has to sit down afterwards, dizzy, retreating to the corner.

Gray, Rhode, and Wendy sitting in a row is quite harmonious.

Rhode pointed to Wendy's other side and asked Carla, "Do you want to sit over here too?"

Carla looked at him as if she was looking at an idiot: "Who would purposely do that? And Wendy, you really shouldn't push yourself."

Wendy smiled happily; for her, being able to use her magic to help others is a joyful thing.

Dipudi's condition has stabilized, his breathing is even, and his face has gained some color.

Of course, those obvious external injuries still need to be bandaged before letting him recover naturally for a while.

If he shamelessly seeks Wendy for treatment over the next few days, he might recover to a point where he doesn't even have scars.

But Carla would definitely chase him away with a broom.

At this stage, Sky Magic is too burdensome for Wendy.

"Sky Magic is that effective?" Rhode thought of the Crown of Embers, estimating it would take a long time to achieve the short amount of time Wendy's results.

Attached effects definitely couldn't compare to professional Healing Magic.

Wendy said shamefully, "My magic power is too weak, I can't be as strong as Grandeeney."

Rhode looked sorrowful, "I really empathize with not having enough magic power!"

Gray: "Hehe."

If Rhode summoned, forcefully closed, then summoned again today so recklessly, even using Receiving Magic...

Normally, a Summoning Mage would probably have been knocked out long ago.

Oh, he's barely better than lying down now, but Gray thought if they were in danger now, this guy might summon a River Crab to escape.

Magic power not enough? Pft!

The group rested for a bit, the only one able to move normally was Carla, who helped Dipudi clean his wounds again, applied medication, and bandaged them.

She also got him some extra frostbite medicine.

Gray had taken a hit from Zat, actually getting slightly injured, but thanks to timely magical defense, he only needed a bit of rest.

Carla went to prepare some simple food, specially making porridge for Dipudi, then took Wendy away to rest.

Rhode and Gray ate a bit, planning to wash up, when they heard Dipudi coughing.

"Cough, cough... Where is this?"

"This is the official Mages' Guild Cat Transformation Inn." For once, Rhode used the full name to refer to a guild, believing it helps reassure others.

As someone with rich unconscious experience, he promptly listed things the other might want to know:

"The Naked Bandage Man situation has been resolved; a lot of your team were injured, but you were the only one who nearly died.

Captain Kaptin is fine too; right now, he should still be holding prisoners in the mountains, but I don't know when they'll return, it's not our place to be involved.

You were unconscious for about 7-8 hours; it's the mage here who saved you, she's resting as she got tired, you can see her tomorrow.

Your people will likely come to fetch you tomorrow too. Now, if there's no problem, have some porridge."

Gray helped Dipudi sit up and stuffed a pillow behind him, then brought in the porridge to him.

"Hm? Ah." Holding the still warm bowl, Dipudi was somewhat dazed.

He opened his mouth to ask about his companions' status but then realized it was just mentioned, wanted to ask how long he'd been unconscious, oops, mentioned that too, wished to know about Captain Kaptin...

After a dozen seconds, he seemed to have barely digested Rhode's flood of information—ah, everyone was fine, the mission was completed, great.

With two mouthfuls of fragrant porridge, Dipudi suddenly reacted, "Thank you all."

Rhode waved his hand, "You're welcome, eat well and rest; anything else can wait until tomorrow."

At night, Rhode could only camp on the floor together with Gray.

Honestly, sleeping so close to a naked man is quite stressful; it was like this back in the tent, he wouldn't even take off his clothes at night.

The next morning, Rhode woke Gray up to get dressed, to avoid awkwardness when Doctor Wendy came to check on them.

This person not only doesn't wear clothes properly but also doesn't cover himself properly, quite a sight in the morning.

Dipudi seemed either still asleep or pretending due to embarrassment, Rhode didn't disturb him and sorted his bedding to wash up.

...

"Was it this child who healed me? But she... she's so young..." Dipudi looked shocked, skilled in medicine at such a young age?

Wendy, speaking to this serious-looking elder brother, was a bit shy: "Because I can use Sky Magic."

Dipudi looked even more surprised: "Sky Magic, isn't that Lost Magic? This child can actually use Sky Magic?"

Wendy slightly bowed her head, forcing a smile, "It really is hard to believe..."

Carla angrily said, "I say, why would we have a reason to deceive you? Don't underestimate Wendy just because she's young."

"Sorry, sorry, it's just so astonishing," Dipudi said, "Thank you all for taking care of me, I will try hard to repay you."

Carla found this person troublesome, interacting with Fairy Tail people was far more relaxed.

No, this person was just having a normal reaction, it's Fairy Tail people who easily accept Wendy, that's unusual.

No, again, Wendy is indeed a child worth trusting.

Carla's expression was tangled, unable to figure out who was really in the wrong, but still felt more at ease with Fairy Tail people.

She watched the two returning from morning exercise, maybe it's easier to get along with fools.

Carla looked at Gray: "Why did you come back from running with one less piece of clothing?"

Rhode was embarrassed: "Sorry, I only helped him find back a pair of pants, I really didn't notice when his top disappeared."

Rhode, with his keen observation skills, slipped up in front of Gray.

"..." Carla looked at him incredulously, so this guy lost his top while running?

Gray turned his head stubbornly, "Losing a piece of clothing, it's normal, isn't it?"

Wendy covered her face; Mr. Gray is a good person, but his habits are just too, too...

Rhode looked at the bandaged Dipudi, "You've already managed to get out of bed?"

"Yes, I can barely walk," Dipudi said appreciatively,

"Thanks to Miss Wendy's treatment, and thanks to both of you for yesterday's help, in many aspects."

"Speaking of, you're from the Advisory Council, right? Why are you here?" Carla wanted to ask this yesterday, "And you got seriously injured and brought over."

"It was due to fighting with mages from the Dark Guild. But sorry, due to Advisory Council regulations, I can't disclose more details."

Dipudi said, "And please don't ask Mr. Rhode and Mr. Gray."/>
