Chapter 634 - Chapter 306: Thunder

Bruno asked the wrong person.

Everyone present, without exception, if they knew where Mebius' tomb was, would have already boarded the ship back to the guild.

Even if someone knew, they would never casually tell him.

Especially given his clearly malicious intent.

Some of the people present couldn't even lift their heads, while others glared at him angrily.

"Is this your answer?" Bruno planned to question another group of people.

"Roar!!" Elfman, who had been sent flying earlier, maintained his Beast King form, ran towards Bruno, and swung his fist at Bruno's cheek.

"Hmph." Bruno snorted lightly, raised his right hand, and casually caught Elfman's fist.

Immediately after, Elfman felt a heavy weight, and he collapsed onto the ground.

"Manly!!!" Elfman supported his body on all fours, trying his best to land a hit no matter what.

However, Bruno struck Elfman into the ground with a hand chop: "Impressive brute strength, but it's negligible before my Gravity Magic. Then… since no one can answer my question, there is no need for you to exist."

"Damn it!" Natsu used the gravity to slam his head into the ground, creating a pit, then puffed up his cheeks, "Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Fierce flames erupted, enveloping him, then with a strong counterforce against the gravity, Natsu was propelled from the ground and flew towards Bruno.

Natsu didn't bother turning around, feeling the distance was about right, he ignited flames on his feet: "Fire Dragon's Claw!"

"Futile struggle." Bruno casually slapped Natsu, sending him into the pit with Elfman, ready to deal with them both together.

Gray, Jubia, and Wendy, seeing this, lay on the ground and tried hard to launch a ranged attack.

Ice, Water, and Wind Magic were unleashed simultaneously, but unfortunately, Bruno easily dispersed them.

Lucy looked at the enemy in front of her with despair; he was too powerful, not at all on the same level as the Seven Dependents they encountered before.

Gravity Magic… Is there a Star Spirit that can counter Gravity Magic? Or help everyone escape from him?

Balrog?

She groped for the keys hanging around her waist, felt the wet ground and the raindrops pounding on her, suddenly having an epiphany: "Jubia, help me!"

Jubia was slightly stunned, seeing the key in Lucy's hand, she quickly responded: "Yes!"

Water gathered, forming a small puddle beside Lucy's hand, and the key glowed with magical light.

"Open the Gate of the Aquarius Constellation! Aquarius!"

A blue-haired mermaid holding an Aquarius appeared, hovering above the small puddle.

Lucy shouted: "It's up to you, Aquarius! Attack us as well!"

"You don't have to tell me, I'd do it anyway!"

Aquarius raised the jar fiercely over her head, and rainwater from all around combined into a thick stream pouring into the jar.

Immediately after, she swung the jar forcefully, and a tsunami-like wave surged forth, enveloping everyone present except for Gajeel, who was placed at a distance.

"Aahhh…"

Although she was mentally prepared, Lucy still let out a scream.

Others fared no better; having barely understood what was happening, they were already swallowed by the wave.

"Why every time?!" Hapi had experienced this move before but didn't miss it one bit.

The calmest was probably Jubia, who easily blended into the water and even took the opportunity to enhance the wave, making it bigger and stronger.

Bruno merely extended a hand forward, countering the raging water with Gravity Magic.

The water seemed to deliberately avoid him, leaving a waterless path in front and behind Bruno.

Aquarius frowned, enhancing the water magic's power with Jubia's help.

But Bruno stood like a rock in the ocean, unaffected by the raging waves.

Aquarius changed tactics, gathering the water flow to form a waterspout, attempting to engulf Bruno entirely.

But not only did the water flow fail to budge Bruno, it was also dispersed with a wave of his hand.

Luckily, the others had been swept away by the wave, moving slightly out of the gravity's reach. Though they were disoriented and battered, it was better than laying on the ground waiting to be slaughtered.

The combined water magic of Aquarius and Jubia contended with Bruno's Gravity Magic, but Jubia was the first to falter.

"I can't continue, Jubia's magic power is…"

She had gone through a battle in the exam, a battle with chickens and dogs, and a battle with the Seven Dependents, exerting considerable effort each time, and her body was near its limit.

The power of the water stream weakened, and Bruno pushed a palm forward, knocking Jubia away with an air blast.

Then he directed the gravity towards Aquarius.

"Ugh…" Aquarius showed a pained expression, as the tail she was floating with submerged into the puddle.

She glanced at Lucy, about to say something, but then looked to the sky and smiled: "Sorry, I can't do anything. I'm going back to date my boyfriend, so don't summon me next time."

Lucy, just coming back to her senses, exclaimed, "Hey! You're going on a date at a time like this?!"

Aquarius gave Lucy a smile and vanished.

"Even Aquarius…" Lucy anxiously rummaged through the keys, unable to think of anyone who could deal with this gravity guy.

"A boring battle." Bruno was already bored with the struggle of these 'minor characters', "Fall into Hell, Fairies!"

"Damn it…" The group dragged their exhausted bodies, ready for a desperate fight.

Crack!

A golden lightning bolt pierced the dark clouds, striking above Bruno's head, enveloping him entirely in electric light.

Someone wearing a cloak and carrying a bundle appeared in front of Bruno, blocking his path.

This person removed the hood from the cloak, revealing blond hair: "Looks like you've been beaten pretty badly, Abar. Where are Fried and Biguslo?"

Ibarglin instantly recognized this figure from the back, knew whose voice it was, and so excitedly ignored Laxus' questions, just shouted: "Laxus!"

"Laxus?!" Natsu was overjoyed, thinking the old man shouldn't have kicked Laxus out; wasn't he still a comrade?

Gray, Elfman, Lisana, Lucy, and Hapi all breathed a sigh of relief; with Laxus being this strong, there should be no problem, right?

Even though Jubia and Wendy weren't familiar with him, they had more or less heard of his deeds, and judging by everyone else's attitude, this was undoubtedly a powerful ally.

"Oh? You must be Laxus, Makarov's grandson?" Bruno was actually a bit pleased.

He asked directly: "Mebius' tomb, even if others don't know, you must know, right?"

Sparks flickered around Laxus, who replied expressionlessly: "The First Generation's tomb? Sorry, you'll die, but you're not qualified to be buried here."
