'It's been one year since Will's trial and I'm ten now. I am finally at the age to have my trial But it may not happen immediately like Will's case but I have to stay positive. ' This thought was in my head as i approached the training area to have my morning training.
As I arrived, I met Sebastian the lean but muscular butler doing squats and and jumping jacks combo. He had a big announcement for me. "Young master your father has deemed you of age and is now adjusting your training schedule to make it a little harder but shorter so that you have time to visit the family dungeon to gain experience. "
' Just great. I'm sure what he means by a little harder is probably putting it into hellish mode and the dungeon part is gonna make it worse. '
"Young Master time to begin your training. "
And so the tortu- training went on till Izana couldn't move a muscle so he was given five hours to rest before heading to the dungeon.
"That wasn't training, that was torture. What is with the adults of this family putting children through hell like this"

"My first quest! Ahhh it hurts. " massaging his aching shoulder.
"So Sage can give quests. I should not be surprised it's a system and after reading so many webnovels this is system 101. I have seven days to prepare for my trial. I need to get stronger and the only way is through that dungeon. " With renewed bigot I headed out to where me and Sebastian are supposed to meet.
"Are you ready young master? "
"Yes. Let's get this over with. " I replied with determination.
"That's the spirit young master. " Sebastian chuckled as we set out to one of the dungeons in my family's territory.
One of the reasons why our territory is popular is because we where blessed with two dungeons which are a source of income for adventurers and training grounds for soldiers. Dungeons are graded by the type of monsters in them and how difficult the monsters are, for example the goblin dungeon is a D rank dungeon while the other one we have is an A rank dungeon. Dungeon ranks start from the weakest to strongest. F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS ranks respectively.
Higher ranking dungeons attract high ranking adventurers and also have more expensive materials harvested from them generating more income for the territory.
We arrived at the entrance of the goblin dungeon and it was packed with adventurers. I would have gotten lost if not for me and Sebastian walking side by side and he wasn't afraid of pushing and shoving. Some adventurers wanted to complain but after seeing our crest shut themselves up and allowed us to pass without a problem, they even helped clear a path for us to pass trying to curry favour from us but they were blissfully ignored.
We entered through the gate and it felt like we entered a new world. Inside visibility was low but there were crystals that lit up and gave a soft light helping us to see.
"Young Master your goal is to kill a single goblin. You need to learn how to kill your enemies because they will try to kill you too. So Master said this is a necessity. "
"Oh shit! D-do you expect me to kill? " Izana said, his voice shaking.
'Do they really ten years old how to kill in this world. If that is the case i need to be careful of other children my age. They may be trained assassins. I trailed off again. '
Izana's hands were trembling at the thought of fighting a beast out to kill him. Calming down, he gripped the iron sword tightly as they continue to explore the first floor.

Meanwhile at the top floor of the Raiden manor a meeting was taking place in the room. The room looked like an office many papers were stacked like towers some on the table and others on the floor. The window was opened and the sound of birds chirping gave the whole place a relaxing atmosphere.
"Don't you love the sound of honey birds during a calm afternoon. " Kor sipped his tea as he closed his eyes and listened to the melodious sounds of the birds.
Kor wasn't alone seated opposite him was Jake, Izana's father who always looks serious. Today was no different as he was focused on drinking the tea and continuing the conversation rather than listening to birds.
"Can we get down to business father. Tell me the reason why you called for me" Jake spoke with his booming voice going straight to the point. "Can't a man call his son so they can relax together. Haaah. " Kor sighed as he remembered the good old days when his son was still cheerful. Those days have faded away now.
Unlike his serious minded son Kor was more playful enjoyed the joys of life. Most people don't take him seriously and thinks he is naive, but they are wrong because he is one of the strongest men in the world.
"The reason I sent for you is concerning Izana. Your son. " As he said this his demeanour became serious. "I got word that you sent the boy to the goblin dungeon to get experience in fighting but don't you think he isn't ready for that. This is the earliest any one of your children is entering the dungeon I can't help but be worried. I'm not saying what you did was wrong but think of the boy's mental health after all this."
"I understand your fears dad but he needs to learn this to grow. When I saw him when he was a baby I saw in him something special. Something that will change the world. So I have to push him past his limits so he unlocks his potential. " Jake maybe serious but he still has a soft heart for his family.
"You're right I guess, any way have more let us relax and wait for his return" Kor poured more tea for his son who drank the tea in one gulp.

Back inside the dimly lit dungeon, both Izana and Sebastian were able to see thanks to Sebastian's light magic which Izana appreciated the uses. But up ahead the target had been spotted. A single goblin was standing not to far from them. As it spotted the light it started to run towards them.
KRAAAGGHHHH
Izana was frozen by fear after hearing it scream. Sebastian had to tap him for him to adjust.
"go young master. "

Izana moved to the side and dodged the goblin wide swing. He had a chance to finish it off but slashed the thigh injuring the goblin.
'What is wrong with me. ' he thought then went for a slash to the neck but hesitated in the end and struck the chest, the goblin swung his club and hit his right arm cracking his bone.
He released a scream as he stumbled back and almost fell.
'Shit, that goblin was going for my head if i didn't dodge that i would have been dead. ' He held his hand in place and remembered what Sebastian said.
With anger written on his face he picked up the sword with his good arm and dashed forwardwhile shouting. "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME SO I WILL KILL YOU. IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED. " He jumped slashing at the goblin and managed to sever its arm the goblin retaliated hitting him with the club. Coughing up blood he stood up and charged at the goblin. It swung the club down towards him but he dodged and stabbed the sword towards the head killing it on the spot.
"I did it, I DID I- blerghh" Izana threw up as he saw the corpse of the goblin. The stench fuelling the vomit more.
"Good job young master. I knew you could do it. " Sebastian praised him.
Izana turned to him and smiled happy he did it and also because of another reason.
"Thanks Sebastian now let's get out of here. " They then made their way out of the dungeon with the monster crystal, leaving the goblin to be absorbed by it.
Over the week Izana and Sebastian came to the dungeon killing goblins to gain experience. Izana eventually cleared floor one of the dungeon. But now the wait is over.
