The naked mole rat was hardly breathing, its body was broken and its mind in turmoil.
Chaos overwhelmed it; even though it's a rank 6 creature it spent its entire life hibernating in the origin essence. This was the first time it fought another rank 6 and the outcome was death.
Just some moments before dying it regained some clarity. It didn't care about Mo Ling ; it relied on its innate abilities to see the world—precisely what the dark minotaur was doing underneath it.
It was a bright place filled with origin essence. The dark minotaur was moving rapidly under the liquid; it didn't seem to enjoy being here. The great density made it extremely difficult to use any magical power. In front of it were two naked mole rats, rank 6 and 7 respectively.
It had been a while since the fight started; even if the dark minotaur has superior battle strength to a normal rank 6, crossing ranks is a tough feat and it's even harder the higher the rank.
The naked mole rats have earth and sound affinity, creating a synergy with their super-senses. As the dark minotaur approached, the two didn't waste time—sound waves surged around them into barriers as they sped up to meet the dark minotaur head-on. The rank 7 naked mole rat was just too fast, being the first to reach it.
The dark minotaur saw its strongest enemy reaching it and immediately created a veil of darkness around its body; an explosion of chaos energy erupted from it.
The rank 7 monster didn't care about its enemy's actions. It brought its right paw in front and sent a sound blast, destroying the chaos energy in front—but there was no minotaur.
The rank 6 naked mole rat suddenly cried, trying to stop its aggressor with the sound, as something penetrated its barrier from above: the minotaur, horns pointing at its soon-to-be victim.
The dark minotaur's body was surrounded by dark clouds, but its horns—grown bigger—burned with chaos energy.
The naked mole rat was frightened; it hadn't felt the minotaur coming. A rock membrane started forming on its body, but it was too slow because of the high concentration of origin energy.
It took the hit on its back; the horns penetrated deep and circulated chaos inside.
The naked mole rat lost the initiative. With chaos ravaging its body from within, the minotaur pushing downward, and the inability to use its true power, it was seconds before succumbing.
Seeing its kin about to die, the rank 7 naked mole rat shifted into a sound-wave, instantly appearing beside the two fighters. It bit the minotaur's leg and bombarded it with sound and sharp-rock attacks.
The minotaur was decisive in killing its prey to remove that annoyance from the equation, but it wasn't willing to take a rank 7's full power head-on. It let go of its prey and dashed away from its aggressor.
The rank 7 naked mole rat was still biting something even though the minotaur retreated—it was a dark silhouette identical to the minotaur, its entire body laced with red tattoos. It detached its leg, then jumped on the beast in front of it.
It didn't last a second before succumbing to the rank 7's rage.
The rank 6 naked mole rat was saved from the minotaur, but the damage was done; with the dense energy it was immersed in, healing was highly inefficient.
It was dying, losing focus, but trying its best to destroy the foreign energies in its body while its ally protected it and closed its external injuries.
The minotaur wasn't going to watch from the side; it kept launching grand chaos flames laced with imperceptible dark darts.
Above in the dungeon.
Seeing its kin falling on the defensive against the one who reduced it to this state, it felt a strong sense of indignation and decided to help with what it had left.
A bright white energy ball started forming in front of the raged beast as it froze in place like a corpse. That ball shifted color and form continuously.
Mo Ling had no idea of the fight happening in the origin essence below, but seeing the energy ball he quickly raised his guard. The system suddenly popped in front of him:

[GUIDE]
> SYSTEM RECORD — ENTITY BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS [RANK 6 — NAKED MOLE RAT]
Status: Life-form initiating terminal protocol.
Entity has commenced self-annihilation via total energy convergence.
Detected phenomenon: Singularity Formation.
[Singularity]:
A singularity represents the absolute condensation of an entity's existence—memories, achievements, losses, knowledge.
Process accessible only to organisms of rank 6 or above.
Absorption Protocol:
- If absorber and source share equal rank → temporary combat boost.
- If absorber's rank exceeds source → enhancement lessens proportionally.
- If absorber's rank is inferior → temporary surge in physical & spiritual output; chance to inherit skills, instincts, techniques encoded within the singularity.
Risk parameters: Cognitive interference, memory corruption, body collapse from unstable integration.

Mo Ling's eyes shined reading this. He hesitated a little, but still approached the singularity.
He stood in front of it; it's formation complete. The beast looked long dead, decomposition already eating half the corpse. He raised a hand to touch the light ball—before his fingers got close, the singularity flashed into his body at the speed of light.
Mo Ling just stood there, not knowing what to expect. Nothing happened for a moment, then:

Now that there is nothing to stop him from leaving, he walked on the giant corpse and left the dungeon cave through the hole created by the minautors attack.
Bellow, the minautor was attacking furiously while the naked mole rats were defending, the singularity that was destined to turn the tide was absorbed by Mo Ling.
Who ever wins or loses will not matter since Mo Ling would have long left.
