A lot has changed in Seito's life. From his useless self to now still useless but with a bit of magic. From being weaker than a new born Death Boar to now being able to defeat the beast of the forest. He can now take charge and chase his dreams, or his shadows whichever comes first. However one thing that hasn't changed yet was the warm embrace of his queen sized bed that always held him with soft open arms.
Shifting and shoving, Seito slowly opens his eyes to the ceiling he's always known. A familiar scene, a known scent and the comfort of home made him forget a little about what he went through yesterday. The terror was slowly washed away from being home.
He fully wakes up and struggles a bit sitting up but he eventually does. He gives a big stretch which then sends a shockwave across his body. Then he thinks to himself..
'It hurts….. everywhere.'
The pain meant at the very least he was still alive and maybe that was enough. As he begins to take his time to get out of bed he looks across the room to see his full body mirror. Then he made a discovery.
"I'm fully healed. Amazing, how? Belze, Mic."
As he is looking over his body he realizes all the scars of yesterday's trial were no longer there. Maybe the pain he felt before when he stretched was his body releasing all the tension it had built up. Then at the side of his he hears.
"SHUT UP! I'm still sleepi…." *snore*
"Aiy.", yawns Mic as he begins to wake up.
They might be celestial mythical beings but they still have the form of animals so it was hard to not find them cute even when being mischievous. "So how am I fully healed?", Seito asks while he inspects his body.
"An angel gave you a divine prayer."
"Divine prayer, what is that?", he asks.
"Exactly how it sounds. An angel prayed for you but it was infused with pure heavenly magic." Mic clarifies while licking itself clean. Seito slightly tilts his head, "What do you mean by pure?"
"Sigh." Mic lays down its head after letting out a big sigh. "Simply put there is both pure heaven magic and pure hell magic. These are magic found in abundance in both heaven and hell. This is how me and Belze are able to utilize our abilities as well as oversee Limbo, but, after a few thousand years the rate at which they replenish began to lessen. So due to the depletion we are only granted a certain amount by the council of each realm respectfully. Thus usage of it outside of each person's jurisdiction has to be permitted by the gods themselves."
"Is that so?" Seito replies with a look of bewilderment. Mic slowly shakes its head in disappointment.
"Also, are there beasts that come from heaven? I'm pretty sure most monsters come from hell no?"
"There are also heavenly beasts that originate from heaven, yes. Most of their moral alignments are good so they usually don't cause as much chaos as monsters from below. They aren't as strong as angels so this makes it possible for humans to make contracts with them and the same goes for Hell beasts."
"Thank you for the information Master.", as he clasps his hands.
"....."
"But wait. How did you know that I wouldn't die from making a contract with one of you?"
"Because technically, you were already dead."
'Oh right, forgot about that.'
"Your family seems to be downstairs waiting for you."
"You're right, I'm starving."
Seito gets out of the bed, changes out of his clothes and then heads downstairs. Mic turns and starts to talk to Belze.
"Hey."
"Yea."
"We need to find that other Seito."
"Hmm."
Mic closes his eyes and they vanish. They then re-appear in a dark area with very dim lighting.
"Is this where it is?"
"I'm not sure but this is where I could last sense it."
They suddenly hear sounds of footsteps walking closer towards them. Then slowly a tall figure walks slowly out into the more lit area. It was fully covered in dark clouds so it appeared to be coated, fully black in appearance. It opens its mouth to speak.
"What do we have here? If it isn't number 1 Slave #1 and #2. I am honored that you would take your time to look for me. I feel ever so important hehehe.", the figure laughs maniacally at them.
Mic and Belze realize that the figure was more or less the same shape as Seito which proved their hypothesis. Pure demonic energy, centered in one area creating a version of Seito that even he himself doesn't know about.
"What is your purpose?" Belze asks while looking at it fiercely. "Hehehe, my purpose? What is my purpose?" It pauses for a minute. Then…
"I have no purpose. HAHAHA!"
It begins to laugh out into the empty area where its voice begins to echo. "I HAVE NO PURPOSE. I am but a blank slate aren't I? Yes, but I know what I want to do. Chaos. Destruction felt good. It felt, me. I More. I want to experience how much chaos I can cause. That is my purpose. That is who I will be."
He calms down. As Mic and Belze were there listening to its monologue they realized the severity of the issue at hand. They couldn't leave this thing to live. "I will erase your purpose" Mic raises its paw and a wave of light energy washes over the figure. There was nothing but silence. A future threat was nothing more than a past memory. Their black and white shiny fur shone in the dark room, but life wasn't black and white…
"Ha… HAHAHAHA. You can't get rid of me. THIS ISN'T YOUR PROBLEM TO FIX! Me and the boy will need to talk but your visit ends here I presume."
They both look at it astonished. While it was annoying that the figure was right, they couldn't do anything. The figure turns around, waves and walks away.

Seito walks down the stairs to see his parents eating breakfast. "What, you're fully healed, how?", Seito is asked by his father.
"It's a long story. But I can tell you this."
"What are you saying Seito?", asks his mother.
"I have decided. I will take part in the entrance exam."
"Sounds like you finally grew a pair." Mrs. Ken turns to her husband and gives a terrifying look before she hands him a slap on his jaw which sends him off the chair. "Really, I'm glad to hear that.", says his mother with a smile upon her face.
His father gets up and starts to brush himself off. "This gives me joy, but what was it that made you decide on this.", as he sits back as if nothing happened. "Well after everything that's happened, what kind of son would I be if I rejected all the hard work my parents did for me.", he tells them while he uses his left index finger to scratch the left side of his face with a flustered face.
'I mean, I died and almost died again.', he then says to himself.
Hima slowly walks down the stairs.
"And what kind of brother would I be if my little sister couldn't look up to me."
"SEITO!" She jumps on his back, eyes filled with tears and nose full of snot. "Oh… come on, get off me!"
"I'm so happy to be your sister."
"And I'm happy to be your brother….. Some of the time."
After finishing breakfast and reassuring his parents that he'll be okay, Seito decides what he needs now more than anything is a stronger foundation, training. He then heads to the forest that took his life away but now it would be to start his new one.
Seito finds a remote area with trees that still stood after the incident and begins training with the Sin sword because Mic refuses to give him the Holy sword. He states he isn't ready for it because he can't fully use the Sin sword. "Using one sword costs a great amount of stamina, much less two, and can even destroy your body if you're not careful. So until then you will only use the Sin sword.", demands Mic.
"Well that sucks."
"It will be worth it, besides, one sword is plenty strong as you've experienced yourself."
"Right."
They begin to train for seven days prior to the exam.
