Chapter 55 - Chapter 55: Extracting the Infinite Formula, Points Burst

Leo was more than satisfied watching Nick Fury completely lose his composure.

That sense of psychological superiority—the feeling of absolute control—was intoxicating.

As a transmigrator, wasn't this exactly what he relied on? A golden finger that gave him foreknowledge of every twist in the plot.

"Alright, believe it or not," Leo said casually, "but soon, you'll be meeting America's first national idol—the superhero Captain America, Steve Rogers."

"Oh, and make sure you bring a gift. You'll find out what it is when the time comes."

With a wave of his hand, Leo dismissed him.

The goal was achieved. No need to keep Nick Fury around for a midnight snack.

"Alas…"

Fury sighed heavily as he opened the car door and climbed in, his mind tangled between joy and dread.

Steve Rogers—still alive. That part made him happy.

But Leo knowing about Carol Danvers—his last hidden trump card—that made him uneasy.

While Fury sat in the back, face dark with worry, Coulson, who was driving, was practically glowing with excitement. He didn't care about Carol or the pager.

His idol, Captain America, was coming back. That was all that mattered.

They had barely driven a few kilometers when Fury's low, cold voice cut through the silence.

"Coulson. Act like you don't know a damn thing about tonight. We saw nothing. We did nothing."

Screech!!

Coulson slammed on the brakes, tires screaming and smoke rising.

"Yes! I understand!"

He hesitated for only two seconds before restarting the car, not daring to ask a single question.

Watching Fury leave, Leo turned to look at the ruined villa and sighed.

"Let's go. We'll crash at Tony's for the night."

"Yeah, that's the only option."

Green Fatty had long returned to normal. As long as no one provoked him, he went offline fast and Banner would take control again.

"System, let's begin. First, extract."

They still had some distance to Tony's place, the perfect time to organize things.

[Ding, detecting plot character Nick Fury. Do you wish to extract his abilities and items? This extraction requires 200,000 points.]

"Yeah, extract."

[Ding, extracting. Please wait, host.]

[Ding, extraction complete. Congratulations, host, on obtaining the Elixir of Immortality – Infinite Formula recipe.]

Leo's grin widened.

Exactly as expected. Nick Fury's greatest treasure—now his.

The Infinite Formula was a miraculous serum that slowed the aging process dramatically.

Both the Winter Soldier and Nick Fury had been injected with it, allowing them to maintain their peak for decades without being frozen like Steve Rogers.

Of course, there was a catch. The effect required continuous injections. Stop, and the body would age rapidly.

But that was a problem for another day. In a world like this, full of endless possibilities, there was nothing that couldn't be solved.

Looking at the glowing Infinite Formula recipe in his system space, Leo felt smug. Tricking Black Egg really wasn't a loss.

"System, can we settle the plot reward now?"

Leo rubbed his hands together, eyes gleaming with anticipation.

[Ding, settlement beginning. Please wait, host.]

The system didn't keep him waiting.

[Ding, congratulations, host, for disrupting all of Hulk's plotlines and leading them onto an unknown path. Rewarding host with 5,000,000 points!]

[Ding, congratulations, host, for changing General Ross's fate and indefinitely delaying the appearance of Red Giant. Rewarding 1,000,000 points!]

[Ding, congratulations, host, for ending the Incredible Hulk plot. Rewarding host with one Terminator TX bodyguard!]

Six. Million. Points.

Leo's mood soared. Hulk was clearly a major character—messing with his timeline paid out big time.

And General Ross being worth another million? That was the cherry on top.

Whistling with his hands in his pockets, Leo practically bounced as he walked. His good mood was obvious.

No. 18 eyed him suspiciously. "Master, are you really that happy just because you tricked Nick Fury?"

"Hehe, you don't understand. It's a secret."

"Hmph! I don't even want to know!" She turned away with a huff.

Soon, the group arrived at Tony Stark's mansion. The massive doors opened automatically.

"Welcome, Mr. Leo."

"Hehe, thanks, Jarvis."

Leo knew just how incredible Jarvis was—Ultron alone was proof. One day, he wanted an AI assistant like this for himself.

"You're welcome, Mr. Leo."

Jarvis's voice was smooth, polite. Semi-intelligent, but still impressive.

Leo was already planning to let him go head-to-head with Red Queen in the future.

Tony appeared, clearly amused. He'd watched everything through satellite feed, and Leo had impressed him.

Nick Fury—normally unreadable—had laughed, cried, and panicked all in one conversation.

That was Leo's handiwork.

Tony grinned, walked up, and pulled Leo into a hug, patting him hard on the shoulder.

"Control yourself, man!" Leo said, pushing him away.

"Hehe, sorry about that."

Tony let go, still laughing.

"Alright, Tony, we'll have to stay here for a few days," Leo explained. "The house is full of neurotoxins right now. It'll take at least a week to clear it out."

"No problem. There are plenty of rooms. Pick whichever you like."

Tony's villa was massive, of course.

"By the way," he added curiously, "how did you get Fury to pull those faces? That was gold."

"Want to know?" Leo asked mysteriously.

"Of course."

"Alright then. I told him Hulk was behind all the killings and that it had nothing to do with me. I even said I was going to sue him. Sue the military, too…"

Leo spun the tale with a straight face. Tony was hanging on every word.

"So that's how it is. Well done!" Tony laughed, giving Leo a big thumbs-up.

"Alright, story time's over. I'm heading to bed. Oh, which room has the biggest bed?"

"Second floor, third door on the left," Tony answered automatically.

"Perfect. Good night!"

With an arm around Wanda and No. 18, Leo strolled upstairs like a king.

Tony watched him go, both envious and impressed.

"Tsk tsk tsk… What a legend. A true role model for our generation," he muttered.
