The classroom buzzed with whispers as Section E tried to process Angelo's words. He stood at the front, calm but serious.
"Listen carefully," Angelo began. "Lia is not my biological sister. Gemma raised her, yes, but we are not related by blood. That's why everyone assumed we were siblings—because I grew up with her and helped raise her. But I never knew the full story about her family… or anyone else's. For all I knew, Lia was an only child in this whole scenario."
Jay leaned forward, eyes wide. "Wait… so you really thought Lia was the only child?"
Aries whispered, "Bro… so there's more we don't know?"
Kiefer muttered, "And now we find out… Lia's not related to you, Angelo. That's wild."
Eren shook his head. "Bro… this is crazy. So who else knows the real truth?"
Mayo rubbed his arm, still sore from past fights. "And why hasn't anyone told Lia? She's just… walking around like everything's normal."
Angelo's eyes scanned the room. "For now, the only people who know the full truth are Lara, Kiara, and… well, Lia. I had no idea she had a twin, and I certainly didn't know Kiara existed."
Meanwhile, down the hall, Lara, Kiara, and Lia were deep in discussion. Kiara's expression was sharp, almost calculating.
"Mother… we can't let them know yet," Kiara said. "The timing has to be perfect."
Lara nodded slowly. "Exactly. Some truths are dangerous. Revealing them too soon could ruin everything. Angelo doesn't need to know… Section E doesn't need to know. Only you and I can carry this for now."
Lia, standing between them, looked thoughtful. "I understand. But… it's going to be hard keeping this from them."
Kiara's eyes softened for a moment, then hardened again. "It has to be done. Nobody else can know. Not yet."
