Chapter 65 - The Green-Eyed Monster

Chapter 65

The Werewolf Realm

The Red Moon Pack

Levi's POV

After Erin left my room, I was still smiling like an idiot.

The taste of her lips lingered—sweet, intoxicating, like paradise itself. And the way her cheeks flushed when she got embarrassed… Moon Goddess help me, I was completely doomed.

"Umm… Alpha Levi? Alpha Levi?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and coughed awkwardly.

"S-sorry. I was just… thinking about something very important."

The Alpha of Silver Crest raised a brow, clearly amused.

"I can tell. Whatever it was must have been very important for you to look that lost—and smile that much."

I scratched the back of my neck, embarrassed. He chuckled before his expression turned serious.

"I came here for something important, Alpha Levi."

I straightened immediately.

"Go on."

He nodded.

" I Spoke with King Johnson and Micheal they told me about your bloodline—and about how crucial you could be in this war. Have you reached out to your wolf yet?"

I shook my head.

"Not yet."

His brows furrowed.

" Why haven't you reached out to your wolf? You shouldn't waste time. I strongly advise you do it today. I'll take my leave now, but I'll send someone this evening to hear the results."

"I'll do it immediately," I promised.

Satisfied, he nodded and walked out.

The moment the door closed, I exhaled and reached inward.

Magnus.

"Hey, wolf."

Instead of replying properly, he scoffed.

" I'm not interested."

"And why should I respond, Levi?"

I frowned.

"Magnus, we really need your help. You'd be invaluable on the battlefield. Please—just help me this once."

He flicked his tail in annoyance.

"I don't want to."

Then he chuckled.

A slow, wicked chuckle.

I stiffened. That laugh never meant anything good, it means he had some evil plan In mind.

"Unless…" he dragged out.

I groaned.

"Unless what, Magnus?"

His voice dropped, dangerous and smug.

"Unless you let me have some alone time with our mate. And not just talking. I want to kiss her too, you're not the only one who gets to kiss her… and maybe do more than just kissing."

I nearly choked.

" WAIT WHAT?! Are you insane?! Erin and I haven't even fully normalized kissing yet, and you're already talking about doing more?!"

"No. Absolutely not. No way, you're going to ruin things."

His presence turned cold instantly.

"Then fight the demons yourself, Levi."

"You can't do this," I snapped.

"Oh, I can. And I will," Magnus replied calmly.

"Assure me that Erin and I get time together—kissing included, and more—and I'll tear demons apart for you."

I clenched my fists.

Damn it.

I hated that I had no choice.

"…Fine," I muttered. "Fine, you beast."

Magnus hummed in satisfaction.

"A very wise decision, kid. When you're ready to train, let me know. It's been a long time since I've fought using a body—except your father's… and your grandfather's."

I froze.

"Wait—what? What do you mean except my father and grandfather? Didn't they have different wolves?"

Magnus laughed.

"Now you see why I call you 'kid.' I was your father's wolf. And your grandfather's too, I guess they didn't tell you."

I sucked in a breath.

"So… your mate was my mother… and my grandmother… and now Erin?!"

He burst out laughing.

"Relax, Levi. I was joking."

I exploded.

"A JOKE?! That's too serious to be called a joke!"

Magnus only laughed harder.

"Damn you," I growled. "You evil beast."

"Anytime you're ready," he said casually. "Let me know. I'll swap with you."

"Sure," I muttered. "Whatever."

I pushed his presence aside and headed to the training field, where Micha and Zaki were already sparring. I joined them and decided to fight Micha.

As we exchanged blows, I told him about Magnus's ridiculous demand.

Zaki who was gulping water from the bottle almost chocked.

He coughed so hard, as he wiped his mouth.

Micha nearly shouted,

"He wants alone time with Erin?!"

I nodded, dodging a punch.

"Yes! Can you imagine? I'm just getting comfortable with the kissing phase, and now Magnus wants to ruin everything."

Magnus scoffed inside my head.

Zaki laughed.

"Well, you and Erin are definitely moving fast. I saw her earlier today. She seems flushed, or shy, either ways she looked like a teenager in love."

Micha shot me a knowing look.

I smiled sheepishly.

"We, uh… kind of did it again today. She was furious. Thank the Moon Goddess for the Alpha of Silver Crest—otherwise, I'd be dead."

Micha frowned.

"You need to be honest with her. You can't keep kissing her without clarity. Make it official. Let people know she's your mate. I don't want her getting hurt again."

Zaki tapped Micha's shoulder.

"Relax. Nothing bad will happen. Levi will do things right this time."

"I will," I said firmly.

"I won't hurt her again. Ever. Erin is mine."

Suddenly, a sharp, icy gaze hit my back.

I didn't know who was looking at me with such hatred so

I turned—and there he was.

The green-eyed monster.

The idiot everyone claimed was handsome.

I scoffed coldly and turned away, and to think I was starting to get jealous of the realationship he has with Erin, I'm more closer to Erin , I bet he hasn't even hugged her before. Tch.

Zaki waved at him, but the guy didn't respond. He simply turned and walked off.

"Cool," Micha muttered.

Zaki smirked.

"Told you. He's very cool—and honestly? Way hotter than Levi."

They both laughed. Hard.

I spun around.

"I CAN HEAR YOU TRAITORS!"

They bowed dramatically.

"Forgive us, Alpha Levi," Zaki said sarcastically. "We deserve to die."

Their laughter echoed across the field.

"Just shut up already!" I snapped, storming away.

Even my own friends refused to support me.

The Alpha of Silver crest sent someone.

I told him that Magnus agreed.

And obviously I skipped his condition, the only thing that mattered was that Magnus agreed.

I was tired.

Today has been a very stressful day, i went to my room.
