Shadow Clones possessed self-awareness and a physical body, could act independently, and could sync their memories back to the original after disappearing.
Naruto once used the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu to simultaneously practice the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, greatly increasing his efficiency.
Although Uchiha Ren didn't have the massive Chakra reserves of the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Naruto Uzumaki, he had many "brothers."
If all the Ren Arakawas focused their Shadow Clones on a single task, the efficiency would be absolutely terrifying.
Uchiha Ren traced the lines on the scroll and untied the string.

A cloud of white smoke rose, startling Kakashi!
