Yujun's POV
I wake up to the sight of a head of thick dark curls resting on the bed next to my shoulder.
I blink twice to clear my blurred sight and I swallow, my throat feels dry and painful with the movement, I try to sit up and the action alerts the person next to me.
He lifts his head, and I see that it's Yeon.
The older male omega looks exhausted even as his lips stretch into a warm smile, he has dark circles under his eyes, and his hair looks ruffled but somehow, he still manages to feel elegant and beautiful.
"Baby" he calls like I am a child of his, his voice warm and soft, "does anything hurt?" he asks and I shake my head, no.
"That's odd, your body should be preparing for another wave of heat" he mutters to himself as he stretches his hand to rest his palm on my forehead and check my temperature.
I know I should still be heat dazed, but my head feels much clearer than it should.
