Another day? How did the day go by so fast?
The buzz of an electrical appliance running woke me up and I lay on my back staring at the ceiling, trying to remember what I did with my yesterday…did I sleep through it?
With a big yawn, I blink rapidly to force myself awake, then I stretch my hand out to feel the new teddy bear under my fingers.
The plushie is soft and perfect for cuddling, small but cozy.
I pull it to my chest and smile to myself, imagining how my pup will love it when it's born, I have to take care of the plushie as best as I can.
"Little pup, look at your first gift, and it's from Chan" I say to my stomach, smiling brightly and grateful for a friend as good as Chan.
I turn my head to the side and read the clock, it's 10:38am.
"Wow, I really slept a lot" I say before I stretch one more time.
