It turned out the police had arrived at the scene, and they weren't driving a police car, but rather in disguise.
If Jay remembered correctly, the two officers appeared to be on two motorcycles and arrived at different times.
Jay thought they were just regular customers, as their movements seemed perfectly normal, like young people looking for food.
But in reality, all of Jay's doubts were now gone, and he could calmly wait for the results to be sent.
He read from the police website that the reward money for providing important information to the police would take at least 3 to 7 business days.
So Jay would only be able to receive the reward money on the designated day, though Jay wasn't worried about it not being sent.
After all, the police force in his country was still a fairly trustworthy institution.
"Okay, this time I got an unexpected result, coupled with an unexpected arrest, I think the wait here was worth it," Jay said with a satisfied tone.
So, after that, Jay decided to return home and force himself to have dinner.
Upon returning home, Jay, feeling hungry, decided to cook a portion of instant noodles with a few toppings.
Initially, Jay chose chicken and garlic instant noodles for his lunch, then heated water in a saucepan.
Waiting for the water to boil, Jay added the mustard greens to the water, waited about a minute, then added the instant noodles and let them steep for another two minutes.
Once they were almost cooked, he added two eggs to the boiling water.
Leaving them half-cooked, Jay added sliced tomatoes as a garnish.
Once cooked, Jay poured the noodles into a bowl, creating a warm portion of instant noodles.
There's a saying in Jay's hometown that a meal isn't complete without rice, so even though Jay had cooked instant noodles with plenty of toppings, he still added a plate of rice as the main course.
Adding sliced chilies to the noodle soup, Jay began devouring the fragrant noodles he had cooked (you can try Jay's recipe; the taste depends on your taste. The noodles Jay uses here are Indo***, and those in the know will understand the brand name).
After finishing lunch, a relaxed Jay checked his friends' status updates on the app and noticed that something was being discussed.
"There's a theater performance being held by our juniors at university. Does anyone want to watch and support it?" someone asked in the chat group.
"Of course we need to support it...it's been a while since we've seen each other!!" another replied.
"When does the show start?" another asked.
"It's a week from now, and it's being held at a theater near campus," another replied.
"Does anyone know what the theme of this theater performance is?" another asked.
"I saw a poster shared about a family drama," another replied.
"Uh...a family drama, is it like watching a soap opera?!" Another immediately replied, curious.
"What??? A soap opera!! How can you equate theater with a soap opera, friend!!!" He groaned in disapproval.
"Come on, anyone who wants to watch can contact me, and those who don't want to, please just shut up!!" The informant immediately ended the conversation.
"Theater...it feels like it's been a long time since I've watched it!!" Jay felt like he was back in the past, when he was in the theater and literature club at his university.
It was a truly happy moment, but unfortunately, towards the end of his term, he had a conflict with some seniors in the club that annoyed him and he took a break from it.
"Ting...just left...a message from Rudy appeared.
"Hey...Jay, have you seen the group?" Rudy asked.
"Yeah, bro, I just saw it," Jay replied again.
"What do you think?" Rudy asked again.
"What's up? Are you interested in watching?" Jay asked immediately.
"Yes, Luna and I are interested in watching. Besides, it's been a long time since we've been to campus, and I feel like reminiscing," Rudy replied.
"Then count me in. I'll come along and visit campus again with you and Luna," Jay replied after some thought and decided to join in.
"Great, I'll book tickets for the three of us," Rudy replied again.
"Okay," Jay replied briefly.

That evening, Jay, dressed neatly, decided to go straight to Ruby's apartment.
When he arrived, Ruby was waiting at the apartment gate.
This time, Ruby was wearing skinny blue jeans.
, wearing a light, brightly colored top, her hair untied, and her sunglasses on.
Seeing this, Jay's eyes brightened, and he had to admit that Ruby was truly charming for her age.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Jay greeted apologetically.
"It's okay, I just got here a short time ago," Ruby replied casually.
"Okay, then let's go," Jay replied.
Looking at the time, it was already 8:00 PM.
After driving a few hundred meters, they finally arrived at the parking area designated specifically for night market visitors.
The night market, located in an open area beside a blue lake, appeared to be quite large.
According to the information shared, there were at least 30 rides and various games at the market, along with dozens, if not hundreds, of stalls selling various foods and other goods.
After parking their motorbike, Jay and Ruby entered through the main entrance of the night market.
A long queue was visible at the entrance, even though night markets had traditionally been less popular.
However, with modern developments and the ease of sharing information and content on the internet,
night markets have seen a resurgence, becoming a preferred recreation and entertainment area for today's citizens.
Finally, after waiting in line for a while, Jay and Ruby made it inside the night market.
The first thing they encountered was rows of food vendors neatly lined up on both sides of the road leading to the play area.
Seeing this, Jay kindly asked Rudi, "Is there anything you want to buy?" Jay asked as he walked with Ruby through the night market.
"Yes, there are some foods I miss, and it seems they can be found here," Ruby replied.
"Oh...what are those foods?" Ruby asked curiously.
"Cotton candy, caramel candy, and other treats I loved as a child," Ruby said with a nostalgic expression.
"If that's what you want, then it's come true, because there's a cotton candy seller over there." Jay pointed out to Ruby a stall selling cotton candy.
"Where?" Ruby asked quickly, turning in the direction Jay pointed.
Upon seeing the cotton candy seller, Ruby became delighted and subconsciously pulled Jay's hand toward the seller.
"Come on...over there...quickly!!!" Ruby urged.
