Chapter 136: The Core of the Spirit
As night fell Qi Tian used the Ice Emperor's body to return to the Frozen Forest.
Although they hadn't returned to the far north yet Hyotei's mental state had become much more relaxed.
She didn't really like being outside—partly because the south wasn't cold enough and she wasn't used to it.
Secondly she was used to the icy plains of the far north and disliked the human world.
Qi Tian returned control of his body to Bing Di—who was overjoyed to find that she could move again.
"Phew—it's finally gone from my body?"
"Hmph—you damn human bastard who's controlling my body—you better not let me find you!"
"Otherwise I'll tear you to pieces—just like this ice silkworm!" Ice Emperor said coldly.
She wanted to transform back into her soul beast form—but when she saw the storage soul tool ring on her finger she forcibly restrained herself—afraid that the ring would burst.
In the end Hyotei simply clenched her white fist and waved it forcefully in front of her—as if the person standing in front of her was Qi Tian.

"Huh? What's this?" Hyotei squatted down and picked up a crystal from the ground.
The moment it was picked up the crystal suddenly flew through the air and shot towards Hyotei's forehead.
"Haha—I—Brother Tianmeng—am still a cut above the rest. I easily fooled that human!"
"Hmph—Hyotei—is that it? Watch how I get my revenge!"
Just then a dazzling five-coloured light appeared in front of the crystal.
"What is this?" Tianmeng Ice Silkworm was stunned—then burrowed into the five-coloured light and lost consciousness.
"Who?" Hyotei was startled.
She hadn't expected the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm to have a backup plan. If it had successfully ambushed her just now—who knows what the consequences would have been.
