Chapter 3 - Sinister Black

"What is he trying to say? Nine, I'm seeing 'nine' over and over again, what does it even mean?!" Morganael had lost his sanity, stress tripping over his mind.

This world works in a completely different way, it has the internet, externet, social media, yet lives in the formal old way, people still have access to the internet and all.

Robertern Elwert Orchestron Bentrozerkjermen, was one of the people who reformed the Gryiant System, the Gryiant System, by Rayner Fallmen, who was a 'he', strictly.

As he was stunned, he started hearing whispers, saying 'The Author' to him – he closed his ears with his hands, the voice rose from within, his mind shattered, like crushing nine prices of wine glass, he had already lost his sanity, through not even one percent of the vanity of this world.

Asserting that he lost his mind, he wasn't fine, like a glass of wine.

The Ayu of Metsubo had descended from the hell. To suffer once again.

The whispers started telling him to turn the page, which he definitely tried to hate. Those who came before him, knew the truth, died long before this world came.

Disturbed upon the hearing, he accepted what he was fearing. The hears didn't say him to fear, because he was someone so dear.

He grabbed the book again and turned the back, something shiny red was written on, with shiny dark blood of hundred people.

He did not dare to refuse the sight, destined for him to fight.

He turned the page, and he did expect what was written on it.

9, 1290 (Mori, 7:1260)

It's the time, 25:21, 15:6, 13:5:20:19:21:2:15

"Mori?! Wasn't that the name of that book, and what are these random numbers?! Something ain't right." he was furious, and curious.

Despite this, he despised it.

He slammed the book on the table, ready to end this hell-like suffering. Sure, he didn't realize it yet, he was wrong – again, yet.

The undeniable truth hit too hard, he had lost his temper and had a stone heart.

DAMNIT!! he shouted in his mind, What even is going on! Someone killed me, I got transmigrated, and now this?! What is happening, God… please answer me.

"Maybe I should just go with Alessia, maybe then I'd understand this shit world better." said Morganael, quietly, apprehensive and frustrated.

He calmed himself, happy'd himself, because he couldn't be what he was, and what he was going to be.

He walked towards the door, calmed himself again, smiled, excited from outside, broken from inside, the fear of being far away from his family, what he knew was they were his real family, while forbidding himself to think what was real what was not.

He opened the door, and saw Alessia waiting for her standing touched with the wall next to the door, sideways.

"Oh, you're ready! Well, you don't look like that, you usually don't go off like this, do you?" she said, confused, curious, and genius… the only one who uses their brain.

Is this my sister? No…she ain't, I just gotta convince myself. he convinced his mind to convince she wasn't important, well, another bad thought, well… he didn't know what was wrong or right, who would know? In this strange world.

"Anyway, let's go! The library will be closed in four hours." she said, joyous and excited.

It was five minutes in, they were walking down the street number eighteen of the ninth district.

The Eynx Kingdom, pronounced inks. District number nine, Gelyrn, pronounced ge-lie-run.

The Eynx Kingdom of Falleynx country, Tetrix continent, Demian state-contintent, is one of the most advanced and formal places, people are like in eighteenth century Britain on earth, and technology is like thirty-sixth century earth.

Valsheim was way ahead of us earthlings, and it will be.

"The library's closed! Ah, why?!" Alessia was sad, her excitement left like a bee after sucking the nectars.

"We can get it tomorrow, we still have time, the exam is like five months from now." Morganael tried cheering her up.

"Okay…" Alessia was saddened.

Completely different from what she shows herself in front of her classmates and friends, attitude, genius, best-at-all-fields (all science fields). And in front of her family? Cute, adorable, happy, excited, genius, and humorous sister.

Since she was sad, Morganael bought her a chocolate, because arthur also used to earn money, like two-thousand eiro per month, meaning around four-to-five-thousand 'dollars' per month. These lucky brat Arthur and Morganael.

Since Morganael wanted to explore the town, he said Alessia to go back home, 'safely', and he'd be just exploring 'things'.

Alessia thought he'd be busy or something, so he followed and started going back, the crowd was very crowdy.

A red poppy ik the field of dead roses, that's what it was, before, and after. Nothing had changed.

Her eyes lingered upon the fake finger, filled with blood, and mud.

She was frightened, like seeing a human convert into a cube.

She was now covered with dead roses, and those were the gangsters lurking in the dark, so dark, even Mori would've unexisted himself.

These were 8 men, young gangsters, with tattoos all over their body, six-abs, a body builder's body.

They all were raged with anger, showing it off as an evil smirk, a large smirk, a heavy smirk, a smirk that'd made you feel uneasy.

"So, how did you DARE enter this area?" asked one of the gangsters.

"First of all, this is silent marketplace area, it's not yours-"

One of them lunged towards her, as he was going to punch her, he couldn't, yes – you heard me, he was stuck, trying to move.

He couldn't even breathe, and then… his head was slayed, neat, in the air, no sword, just slashed.

All of their faces went pale, they were frightened, they started running, the gangster's body was slashed into pieces, others were slashed from the middle.

How could this magic be happening?! That's what everyone would think, but, yes, it can hundred percent work in this world and it will.

"How… is- is… this possible… ?!" she was frightened, strongly, traumatised by what happened.

"Don't worry, you can go." guess, who was it? Nope, not Morganael or his brother.

"Thank you, kind sir…" she was still frightened, yet, she thanked him. "May I know your name, kind sir."

"I usually don't tell my name, but still, if you want to know it – it's Sinister Black."

Finally, one of my favourite character have appeared!

Black wore squared double-monocles, with a black coat, black pants, black shoes, and socks? Not visible, we're covered by his long pants.

He had black hairs, and red eyes, with a vertical scar on his left eye.

He wore white shirt inside, with a black waistcoat.

He had his upper coat, or the shoulders covered by a black cloth all around the top or shoulders in the jacket.

He looked like an upperclassman, royal person, or a noble person.

He looked sane, while he wasn't.

While on earth, the moment had gone way too far. The military was involved in everything, at least they all united.

All countries were making safety bunkers, all thought the world had come to an end, all were frightened, emergency alarms going on.

I should've saved him, but why… ? Why didn't I? Have I become… no, it shouldn't be… it can't be. No, no, no! Marx was depressed, it was the only thing he could think of, guilt tripping off his head. The fear of letting the prophecy come true.

He wondered whether he should have let the prophecy come true or not.

Meanwhile Kyte and Evelyn, silent in a corner, looking at the sky.

She wasn't sad, nor was she happy.

He knew something they all didn't, he was alive, somewhere in this solar system. She had secretly read all the prophecy books.

Back in Valsheim, Alessia had safely returned home.

Meanwhile in the marketplace, Morganael was wandering far-and-wide. Until he reached a narrow space.

Such a narrow passage, are the engineers here drunk or what? But, let's see… what's in there.

He stepped his foot forward, ready to witness the prophecy.

And when he reached the other end of the passage, he saw a tent, a red tent with white vertical strips.

And when he entered, it was a whole other world.

He was on the peak of a mountain, a flat peak, it was night in there, when he had turned back – it was a door placed in a giant rock.

There was heavy fog, if removed, the place would've looked like a heavenly place.

The place looked creepy and heavenly at the same time, forest below, a dear fellow – bypassing the laws of science.

There were many poles, large, huge, and wide.

And there he was, Sinister Black, standing on one of the black poles, the wind was blowing so hard that Morganael couldn't even properly stand. While he was standing in ease. The fog was endless, the stars were twinkling brightly – the forest was dense – the tension was even denser.

Black was standing with his hands in pocket, and his squared double-monocles with a golden chain linked to the ear – not entirely connected to it, but a material that was in the ear, he could unwear it anytime.

"Transcendentologist? Huh, oh wait… you aren't even one." He sighed.

How does he know I'm not Arthur?! Wait… even if, can he help me? No, he must be joking. Thought Morganael.

"The answer to this is… yes. Filver."

FILVER?! WHAT IS HE? IS HE GOD OR SOMETHING, NO… HE CAN'T BE… IT- IT- IT CAN'T BE! He was raging in his mind, full of questions and doubts.

Black disappeared as the fog surrounded him.

Morganael was frightened, and he did what was necessary… he ran to the door, opened it, huffing, and went out of the hell in disguise.

He came out the tent, and there they were, the Everknights, as you heard of the word 'knight', you'd be instantly expecting it to be some knights with heavy metal gears on. But, is it right? No.

They were gentlemen, at least they looked like them. Four of them.

They wore a black trench coat, with a black waistcoat (vest), with shirt, and a red tie. Black pants, Chelsea shoes, black shocks. They had golden chains connected from their chest to the underarms, only three. Showing the last stage guards of Everknights.

"Ah, man. Someone saw this, now… should we kill him? Or erase his memory?" said one of the Everknights.

"No… he's a transcendentologist."

"Then he might be of use to us."

What are they talking about?! Am I getting… no, it shouldn't be. Are they what that man was? I'm beyond saving. How did they know that Arthur, or now me, is a transcendentologist?! Just as he thought his time had come to an end, their leader approached him.

"Listen here, young man. If you don't want us to kill you, come with us."

"Come with us"?! Are they threatening to kill me?! I'm in serious trouble… should I go or not? Maybe, just maybe… I should. He made a decision.

He followed them, and they took him to an abandoned bar.

A bar? I don't even drink. Oh, wait! This can be their hideout.

He opened the rusty old door, walked towards the bar approach.

"Code: Harzent Verzel."

A door opened, and scanned him, the leader.

"My name is Harzent Verzel, I'm the current leader of Everknight Faction Four, League Three: Pillar."

Everknight Foundation, a foundation that worships the outer-gods, not religiously, but like a legacy, outer-gods were their ancestors, not Ancestrals, but ancestors.

They entered the door, and the door shut immediately, this wasn't a door, it was a portal, could only be opened by an Everknight, by telling their name, it could be spawned anywhere, but they chose this hideout in this district.

"You may go to your places, my fellows." ordered Harzent Verzel.

They all bowed and went to their respective places.

"Follow me, young man."

Morganael followed him, deeply, the fear of death and silenced him from inside, he could do anything just to survive.

And when they entered the Hall, it was beautiful.

The main hall had tons of tunnels, leading to other halls, in between, there were rooms.

Harzent approached a door and opened it, it was his cabin. He sat there, and looked into Morganael's eyes.

He opened his drawer and took an invitation letter, wrote his name without even asking him, his age, his sex, his name.

When he finished writing, he handed it to Morganael, with a smile.

"Looking forward to work with you, Arthur Mascarot." Harzent said with a smile, and a happy expression.

Morganael was stunned, expressionless, he didn't know what was going on. What should he do, what he shouldn't.
