Blake pov
"The car door clicked shut, sealing us apart. Aurora. The name was a quiet, grinding relief in my mind. Four years. Every breath since the last life had been a wait. Now, the hunt was finally over."
I had promised to always find her and love her no matter what lives we will live in , she is my only swan.
"The world had tilted. There was no 'flutter,' only the cold, hard shock of absolute recognition when she stepped into the street. It was an involuntary jolt, a physical demand to act. My instinct wasn't to save a stranger; it was to preserve mine."
And even when I arrived for signing those contracts, I had saw her in the second floor looking down, she was scare?, was I scaring her.
Then come the greeting and the way she flew back in the elevator .
" haha..." a small laugh escaped my lips.
Then the elevator greeting again, and once again in the meeting room,
"She relaxed when the threat shifted from a car to the contract. Good. I didn't want the naive girl who gave out her number. I wanted the polished woman who prioritized her career over everything. Her desperation was a far more interesting anchor than some silly infatuation."
I start my car and drive off , my guards car followed suit after my departure, I didn't want to get to work but I had other meetings to attend to, I had saw her sigh of relief from my departure and it made me smile once more.

I passed days of driving around back and forth from company to company and now I can finally rest , I sat in my couch, this house is too luxurious, I take my coat off and place it on the armchair, then I pull out the paper she had gave me, her writing never changed, I pull my sleeve up and start observing her writing on this I small pice of paper , I admire it for quit sometimes before standing up and walk upstairs, now is finally the time.
___
The day that followed I decided not to show up too often, I don't want her to think that I'm a stalker or something, I made myself invisible, simply observing her from afar.I won't make the same mistake again.
Days turn into weeks and weeks to months.
After three months I decided to get on a walk to the small park next her apartment, and fate always bring us to each other.
She was there sat on the bench all alone, she seems pleased to be lone with her mug of coffee.
I observed her for sometime and then our eyes met again. She stand up straight immediately.
" morning Mr Blake it been long since we have saw each other, I mean…, please forgive me I'm out of word!" She says.
I could see she was uncomfortable and fidgeting with her own fingers.
I stopped ten feet from her bench, letting the silence stretch until she was practically vibrating. "Lady Aurora Jane Smith," I said. It was a caress and a command, wrapping around her full name.
"Yeah thank-… wait what did you just call me"
She look surprised.
I simply tilt head and look her.
"Never mind… , uhm may I help you with something sir?" She says.
" sir?…" I repeat slightly with a displeased expression.
" did I say something wrong?" She asked softly.
I tilted my head, the motion predatory. "I saved your life, Aurora. You owe me the luxury of a first name. Call me Alexander. Or if you prefer... Owen."
" oh no…I can't possibly do that even if it your work name or real one it'll be impolite of me!" She says her hand waving in the air.
She politely declines me, uhmm that interesting indeed.
" oh well that kinda sad..,"
She look up at me with a disgust expression.
" sir if you mean my job then thanks you but if that what I think then no thanks, I'll prefer it if you keep your distance please, I really don't want to be impolite because you are one of our biggest supporters and you help my company but don't cross the line!" She warn me .
I let a genuine, possessive darkness seep into my voice. "I don't need a liking, Aurora. I need you to understand that when I look at you, I see mine. Keep your professional distance from the others, but not from me."
I smirk " you are too fierce for your own good…don't you fear losing your job?" I tease
But her face changed from fierce to panic, my smirk grown wider I like this expression on her ,
Her panic was a small, satisfying victory. I had found her again, and in this life, I held all the cards."
" sorry…" she says softly
" I was just teasing you…"
"…, that wasn't kind!" She look stunned and embarrassed.
" should we be like cat and mouse , dear"
She stays quiet as if remembering something, I knew it was these dreams I made her have for four years. ( just in case)
" what wrong?" I walk closer to her
She step back and look me " you look familiar.."
"You look familiar..." she whispered, her eyes wide, but the recognition was still murky. She was close. Four years of dream seeds were finally sprouting.
It was getting interesting,
Just as I was about to confirm her dawning horror, a squeal sliced the air.
"Aurora! I've been looking everywhere!"
A woman too bright, too loud launched herself into Aurora's space, disrupting the perfect tension. The touch was an immediate, blinding offense. This interloper, this third party, had just crossed the line of my carefully constructed game.
My smile faded, replaced by something cold and absolute. I watched the friend, my eyes tracing the vulnerable lines of her throat, knowing exactly how easy it would be to remove her from the picture. Aurora was starting to remember, and that meant the world was about to change. No one , no one was allowed to interfere.
The memory wasn't a choice; it was an innate truth carved into my soul. She was my Swan, the recurring obsession fate had decreed, and every painful life we cycled through led me back to this street corner, to the scent of her fear and coffee. I would not lose her this time. I could not lose her.
