The control room of Chaldea.
All the equipment in the control room was destroyed, and it was filled with countless debris.
The walls and floor were soaked in red blood.
A woman walked through the control room, stepping in pools of blood. With her every step, the pools of blood stirred, creating ripples.
She glanced at the corpses that filled the control room.
Among them was the figure of a goddess, slowly writhing and reaching out her hand.
"S-save… me…"
"Filthy."
As her eyes turned crimson, the goddess's head exploded.
Flesh, brain matter, and blood from what was once the Mesopotamian goddess of beauty and war scattered everywhere.
No, could the things that were here truly be called goddesses and heroes?
They were just one step away.
If only they had been given a little more time, the happy ending they so desperately wished for might have been within reach.
They had come to the brink of completing the Restoration of Human Order, only for it to be thwarted by a single man's prank.
A man and a girl who was once a boy worked hard together with an AI. They strove for a bright future, to succeed no matter what.
But the women here ruined it all.
This world's Counter Force prevented the Restoration of Human Order.
After all, if the Incineration of Humanity were to occur, it would actually be a good thing for that Counter Force.
The other two troublesome Counter Forces would disappear.
If the Demon God King's plan succeeded, the world would begin anew. The Demon God King would become a new planet, ushering in a new era without death.
As the current planet and humanity vanish, a new planet with no concept of death would be born, and along with a new humanity, a new Counter Force would emerge.
For the Third Counter Force, a Counter Force that existed only in this world, commonly known as Eros, this was a good thing.
Gaia, the will of the planet itself, is different from Alaya, the collective unconsciousness of humanity.
As long as Chaldea remained—as long as the corrupted beings, the beings filled with lust and desire, were left in Chaldea—Eros could cling to life, however weakly.
After the Incineration of Humanity, once the new planet was born, it could simply put down new roots there.
Perhaps Eros itself could have even become the new Alaya.
However, Chaldea interfered.
"Senpai. Perhaps you trusted others too much? Maybe we believed too much in the potential of humanity. This is the result of believing that the ones we newly summoned would be different, isn't it?"
By killing that man, Chaldea was purified.
But power was needed to restore the Human Order.
Therefore, they resummoned the Servants recorded in the Spirit Origin graphs. Since all their previous memories were erased, there was no problem.
They borrowed their power and joined forces with the Servants in the Singularities to move forward.
But perhaps the past could not be erased?
Eros interfered with them. It was a simple matter of reviving their past records and restoring the emotions they felt back then.
As a result, they were met with revenge.
That was the story. In a world like this, only the normal people suffer and fall into despair.
With the death of the man who had been the girl's pillar of support, the world's destruction was sealed.
Yes.
The Demon God King, Eros—all of them vanished from this world.
All that remained in this world was a bleached planet and an empty world devoid of any humanity or life.
"It was something I couldn't have predicted either. A Counter Force like that, of all things... How could anyone have expected it? I wonder when it first appeared. Sometime between the late 20th and the 21st century, I'd guess."
She slowly walked forward, towards the end and center of the control room.
There, a noble celestial sphere floated.
"You've stabilized quite a bit too, Senpai."
That was CHALDEAS, originally meant to be incomplete.
An incomplete CHALDEAS, which could not be finished due to the interference of the Third Counter Force.
Neither Marisbury nor the Counter Forces knew.
That the one who completed CHALDEAS was none other than...
...an ordinary girl.
CHALDEAS belongs to no one.
It wasn't what Marisbury had planned for the sake of his own Human Order preservation.
This CHALDEAS, this alien star, was truly the girl's.
No, one could say it was the girl herself.
"An incomplete soul. The soul known as CHALDEAS was prepared, but its interior was an empty vessel. Hence, it was incomplete. The vessel was perfected by imitating the soul of a planet, its exterior so convincing it could fool even its creator. But its inside, its soul, remained unfilled. The most important part was missing. It had no mind, no brain."
Planets have a brain, a will of the planet. A certain Beast in another world proved that planets have a core soul that serves as their center by becoming the planet's brain and attempting to turn it into an erogenous zone.
And what filled that vessel was the girl's soul.
She committed suicide by throwing herself into a vortex of spiritual particles akin to a black hole.
Because she no longer had a reason to live.
And that act completed CHALDEAS.
Something that neither the Demon God King nor the Demonic Bodhisattva from another world could accomplish.
She became the soul of a planet.
The vessel that had been but an empty shell was filled with the girl's soul, and it became dyed in her essence.
The alien star (異星) is the girl's, and it is the girl herself.
And the only human existing on the alien star (異星) is the girl.
The alien star's (異星) only human, its god, and the planet itself.
The girl herself was CHALDEAS's Gaia (the world) and Alaya (the Counter Force).
"Ironic, isn't it? That a Counter Force gave birth to a Beast."
And so, the Seventh Beast was born.
In a way, she was grateful. Thanks to them, she could do it all over again.
She looked down at the man in front of CHALDEAS.
She knelt before the corpse that was once a man and took it into her arms.
He looked just as he did when he died. She brushed his hair back, stroking his head.
"Once more, to a world where you exist…"
That was the beginning of it all.
The beginning of a story for the man who was loved by a world (the alien star) and loved by the greatest AI.
