It was getting late. After saying goodbye to Alina, Yu Yachen followed an Ursus youth's directions to the tent Talulah had prepared for her.
She pulled back the curtain. Perhaps as thanks, Talulah had prepared a very large tent, spacious enough for several people to move around in. Under the dim oil lamp, the floor was covered with carpets and bedding.

Yu Yachen shook her head.
"But it really is cold here."
She slowly raised her hand. The white-haired woman's fingertips had an unnatural blue tint in the lamplight. She turned her palm over, letting Talulah see the knuckles that were purple from the cold.
A normal person would have been crying from the cold long ago. Yu Yachen was just a physically weak woman; naturally, she couldn't withstand the freezing temperature.
Staying here for one night, I'll probably freeze to death.
Seeing this, Talulah's brow immediately furrowed. She strode forward and, without another word, took Yu Yachen's ice-cold hand. The warmth from her palm transferred over instantly, like a furnace.
"Why didn't you say so sooner? This tent blocks the wind, but at night the temperature will drop to thirty below zero. You definitely can't handle that dressed so thinly."
As she spoke, she moved to unfasten her own clothes to drape over Yu Yachen.
"Talulah."
Yu Yachen suddenly stopped her. The breath she exhaled condensed into a white fog in the cold air.
"One piece of clothing won't be enough. Why don't... I sleep with you?"

As soon as she said this, the air in the tent seemed to freeze.
Talulah looked at her in disbelief, her cheeks flushing red.
"What did you say?"
"I don't think I can spend the night here alone. Your body temperature is very high. Why don't we sleep together?" Yu Yachen said earnestly.
This had been her intention all along. The blankets on the ground clearly had traces of being used by someone else. Yu Yachen had a strong sense of personal boundaries; her mysophobia wouldn't allow her to use other people's things.
