Chapter 14 - C14 – Midnight Avenger

Four shadows quickly leaped into the courtyard, each holding a club and wearing a baseball cap pulled low over their faces, making it impossible to see their features.

The four looked around briefly, then headed straight for the main house where Jiang Feng's parents lived.

However, just as they reached the door, a figure suddenly darted out from the side, blocking their path.

It was Jiang Feng.

The four were startled by Jiang Feng's sudden appearance. People scaring people can be deadly; no matter how brave one is, such a sudden appearance is unnerving.

"What do you want?" Jiang Feng squinted his eyes and questioned.

Seeing it was just one person, the four breathed a sigh of relief.

"Motherfucker, scared me to death. Get him!" one of them growled.

Swish, swish, swish!

The others raised their clubs and swung at Jiang Feng.

Jiang Feng sneered, his palms striking out like a lion hunting its prey, hitting two of them.

Bang, bang!

The two fell to the ground, unable to get up, wailing in pain.

Seeing this, the other two quickly retreated, not daring to step forward.

They stared at Jiang Feng with wide eyes, terrified, as if facing a formidable enemy.

"You know martial arts?" one of them shouted.

"Oh, you know martial arts too? Not bad. Come on, let's spar a bit," Jiang Feng beckoned with his hand.

"Tiger, go spar with him. This guy is just a kid, nothing to be afraid of," another bearded man urged.

The one called Tiger glanced at his fallen companions, gritted his teeth, and charged at Jiang Feng, swinging his club high with a "whoosh."

Jiang Feng squinted, seeing that this guy seemed to have some training in martial arts.

But it was all just show, with no real power.

As the club was about to fall, Jiang Feng used the "Divine Dragon Mysterious Steps" to suddenly appear in front of Tiger.

Then he struck out with a palm, like a lion's roar, hitting Tiger's chest. With a "thud," Tiger rolled on the ground several times before crashing into a stone pillar not far away.

Tiger fainted immediately.

The power of the "Flaming Lion Palm" was fully displayed at this moment.

Seeing this, the bearded man realized that three of the four who came in were already down, leaving only himself. This wouldn't do, he thought, and decided to flee.

But Jiang Feng had already prepared for this, blocking his way. Instead of attacking, he coldly questioned, "Who sent you?"

"It was... it was..." The bearded man trembled, dropping his club.

"Speak!" Jiang Feng roared.

"It was Brother Qiang," the bearded man nearly broke down, shouting, "Brother Qiang sent us to teach you a lesson."

"Brother Qiang? Cai Xiaoqiang?" Jiang Feng asked.

"Yes, that's him," the bearded man replied.

Jiang Feng clenched his fist, a chill emanating from him, and said fiercely, "So it was you. Hmph, seems like you won't learn your lesson until you're beaten."

"Are there more people outside?" Jiang Feng asked.

"Yes," the bearded man replied.

"Who?" Jiang Feng asked.

"Brother Guang is waiting outside," the bearded man said.

Swish, swish!

At that moment, two clubs suddenly swung at Jiang Feng.

It turned out the two who had fallen earlier had gotten up and tried to take advantage of Jiang Feng's distraction to knock him down.

But their little trick was no match for Jiang Feng.

Jiang Feng quickly turned around, kicking the two who approached, sending them flying.

This time, Jiang Feng was a bit angry. He chased after them and beat them until they were like dead dogs.

The bearded man watched in horror, swallowing hard, his legs unable to move, and he wet himself in fear, the smell of urine spreading.

Jiang Feng turned to the bearded man and said coldly, "Go get your Brother Guang."

"Okay, okay!" The bearded man trembled, stiffly walking out.

But before he could leave, someone jumped in.

This person was tall and burly, with a shiny bald head and a fierce face, his hooked nose gleaming coldly, clearly a sinister and ruthless person.

No need to say, this was the so-called Brother Guang.

His real name was Lü Shaguang. Who knows what his parents were thinking, giving him a name with "fool" in it, perhaps hoping he wouldn't be foolish and would be smarter.

In the past, people often gave their children humble names, thinking it would make them easier to raise. Names like Dog Egg, Stone Roller, and Pig Tail were popular and considered good names.

Jiang Feng looked Lü Shaguang up and down, thinking, no wonder he's called Brother Guang; at least his head is quite shiny.

"What the hell is going on? Why are you making such a fuss? Are you afraid others won't know?" Lü Shaguang barked as he entered.

"It's not that, Brother Guang. We... we encountered..." The bearded man stammered, "We encountered a master."

"What master?" Lü Shaguang was taken aback, finally noticing Jiang Feng.

When he saw Jiang Feng, his eyes narrowed, sensing a sharp aura.

He had trained in martial arts for a few years and was sensitive to such auras. He had seen many martial artists, who were different from ordinary practitioners, capable of cultivating powerful internal energy.

He had once seen an old man strike a huge black stone with his bare hands, shattering it on the spot, an incredible feat beyond scientific explanation.

Now, he felt Jiang Feng's aura was very similar to that old man's, even slightly stronger.

"Who are you?" Lü Shaguang asked.

"I am Jiang Feng," Jiang Feng replied calmly.

"You are Jiang Jianjun's son, Jiang Feng?" Lü Shaguang was slightly surprised.

Before coming, Cai Xiaoqiang had told him to pay special attention to Jiang Jianjun's son, saying he had some skills. Initially, he didn't care, but now he realized he had underestimated him.

Jiang Feng's aura clearly indicated he was a master.

"Kid, who did you train with?" Lü Shaguang asked.

"I haven't trained with anyone," Jiang Feng said, "but I would like to see your skills."

"Alright, let me show you," Lü Shaguang immediately assumed a stance, his arms bent upward, fists one in front and one behind, legs squatting in a stable horse stance.

Jiang Feng, however, placed one hand behind his back, raising the other slightly in a knife-hand gesture towards Brother Guang.

"Take this."

Lü Shaguang lunged forward, swinging his fists at Jiang Feng.

"Not bad, quite powerful, better than the others. This strength shows you're just beginning to understand martial arts, but still far from being a true martial artist," Jiang Feng couldn't help but nod.

Lü Shaguang's strength slightly surprised Jiang Feng; an ordinary person wouldn't stand a chance against him.

Fortunately, Jiang Feng was no ordinary person; otherwise, he would have suffered a great loss.

Jiang Feng also struck out with both fists, colliding with Lü Shaguang's fists. With a muffled sound, Lü Shaguang staggered back several steps.

"What a domineering force," Lü Shaguang thought, his hands trembling. He felt as if he had hit an iron plate, his hands numb and aching.

Jiang Feng smiled faintly, "You're not much, just average strength."

"Hmph, take this, Black Tiger Steals Heart," Lü Shaguang, unwilling to concede, formed his fists into claws, striking at Jiang Feng's chest like a fierce tiger.

This was his ultimate move, practiced for ten years, already showing some success. Ordinary martial artists or boxers were no match for it.

Jiang Feng saw the power of this move and didn't dare to be careless, stepping back half a step with his right foot, firmly planting it on the ground, ready to defend.

Swish, swish!

Lü Shaguang's claws slashed, his fingers like blades, seemingly tearing through the air.

Seeing such power, Jiang Feng was shocked, realizing he had underestimated Lü Shaguang.

This move alone could open a martial arts school and ensure a comfortable life.

Unfortunately, he had become a lowly thug, wasting his skills.

"Black Tiger Steals Heart, a good move, but not fully utilized," Jiang Feng said calmly, "Try my move, Tiger Roar Overlord Punch."

Boom!

At the critical moment, Jiang Feng punched out.

This punch was unparalleled, like a tiger descending the mountain, with an imposing momentum.

There seemed to be a faint roar of a tiger echoing through the heavens, shaking the sky.

Bang!

The punch landed on Lü Shaguang's claws, and with a "crack," Lü Shaguang's hands twisted and deformed, his fingers all broken.

"Ah!" Lü Shaguang screamed, sweat dripping from his face.

"What kind of punch is this? I've never seen it before," Lü Shaguang shouted in fear.

"Of course, you haven't seen it. If you had, it would be like the sun rising from the west," Jiang Feng sneered.

Such moves, beyond the ordinary martial arts world, how could a mere mortal have seen them?

Techniques from the Immortal Realm could easily dominate Earth.

"Are you one of those mysterious martial cultivators?" Lü Shaguang asked, eyes wide.

Jiang Feng shook his head, "No, I'm just a student, about to take the College Entrance Examination."

Jiang Feng's demeanor was profound, his faint smile making the night seem pale, with a hint of wicked charm.

Lü Shaguang couldn't believe he was just an ordinary person.

This was definitely a master among masters.

Thud!

Lü Shaguang knelt down, knowing that saying anything more was useless; he couldn't beat Jiang Feng.

Only by kneeling and begging for mercy could he survive.

"Master, I was blind. Please spare me," Lü Shaguang kowtowed heavily.

Jiang Feng smiled coldly, appreciating Lü Shaguang's ability to adapt, knowing when to bend and when to stretch, understanding the importance of survival.

"Alright, I'll spare you, but you must do something for me," Jiang Feng said.

"Not just one thing, five or ten things, anything," Lü Shaguang quickly agreed.

As long as he could live, he'd do anything.

"I want you to capture Cai Xiaoqiang for me. I think you can do that easily," Jiang Feng said.

Indeed, Jiang Feng wanted to use Lü Shaguang to capture Cai Xiaoqiang, then teach him a lesson so he'd never dare to cause trouble again.

Lü Shaguang didn't hesitate, immediately agreeing, "I'll go catch him right now."
