"Yami and the others can still be saved. The Evil Tree will take three days to be fully absorbed, so we must hurry and stop the Gates of Hades from opening."
Nacht relayed everything he knew in one breath.
This wasn't just about saving Yami and William anymore — the fate of the entire world now rested on their shoulders.
If the Gates of Hades opened and the demons were unleashed upon the world, it would be too late.
"Then I'll lead the team," Adam declared. "We'll split into two groups — one will head to the Spade Kingdom on an expedition, and the other will stay behind to protect the Clover Kingdom."
He added with a smirk, "After all, it'd be a bit embarrassing if we got caught off guard again."
"You're leading the whole thing? Adam, are you crazy?" Mereoleona snapped, her tone sharp and fiery.
Everyone else exchanged helpless looks. Princess Princia watched Adam closely, certain this mysterious man was about to pull off something insane again.
"The fierce tiger balances yin and yang, so that I will never conflict."
The golden grimoire burst into dazzling light. Before everyone's stunned eyes, Adam's body split into two — two identical men with completely opposite auras now stood before them.
"I'll use the Zodiac powers, and you'll use demon elemental magic," said the dark-haired, red-eyed Adam — his tone calm, his expression unreadable.
"I haven't agreed yet… fine," sighed the white-haired Adam with pure white pupils — his presence radiating warmth and calm.
The golden grimoire divided in two. The black-haired Adam — embodiment of darkness — received a black grimoire, while the white-haired Adam — embodiment of light — held a white grimoire.
Evil Adam now possessed all the powers of the Zodiac.
Good Adam retained the three great demonic energies, the Human Emperor Sword, and Dryad's contract.
It was a perfectly balanced arrangement.
"Is this fine now?" Evil Adam asked coldly, "I'll lead the expedition. You stays behind to guard the kingdom."
Everyone was speechless. What the hell had just happened? Adam… split himself in two?
"Don't just stand there — let's move," Good Adam said gently.
"Charlotte, Mereoleona, Jack, Dorothy, Rill, Yuno — form the expeditionary force. We're heading to the Spade Kingdom to rescue Yami and William."
"Yes!"
Everyone nodded, left with no choice but to follow his plan.
"Nacht, lead the way." Evil Adam said.
Nacht nodded. He had already placed a Shadow Anchor in the Spade Kingdom's capital — making teleportation there swift.
With a whoosh, he led the expeditionary team away in an instant.
"Marx," Good Adam called.
"Yes!" The Mushroom-headed knight straightened up immediately.
He could see a faint resemblance — this white-haired Adam carried the same quiet authority Julius once had.
"Send men to search for the Wizard King. Find him, alive or dead. Also, alert every Magic Knight squad — hold your posts and remain vigilant at all times."
Good Adam's soft tone and calm eyes radiated the aura of a natural leader.
"Yes!" Marx saluted with conviction.
Everyone knew Julius wouldn't abandon his people willingly — something must have happened to him.
Adam stepped toward the window, sunlight spilling across his form, casting him in a strange, divine glow.
Princia and Lemiel exchanged glances.
There was only one thought in their minds.
So pure... so positive.
"Xiaoshui, support me."
Far away in the Heart Kingdom, Xiaoshui instantly received Adam's message and mounted Xiaolan, hurrying back at full speed.
With a bang, the door burst open.
Asta — wrapped head-to-toe in bandages — stormed in with his usual stubborn expression.
He'd heard from Marx that Yuno had joined the expedition and rushed over despite his serious injuries.
"Adam! Why won't you let me go on the expedition? I want to save Captain Yami!" Asta shouted, voice cracking with desperation.
"Nonsense! Look at yourself!" Good Adam's voice turned sharp. "You're barely standing. Rest and heal. Don't make things harder for everyone."
He was firm — almost too righteous.
If it were normal Adam, he might've argued with Asta a bit before giving in to his fiery spirit. But this version — Good Adam — was all discipline and duty.
"Finral, I know you're all outside. Did Asta's hot-headedness infect everyone?"
Good Adam's voice cut through the air like a blade. Finral, Magna, and the others awkwardly stepped in, guilt written on their faces. Only Noelle remained by Asta's bedside.
"Adam… if it were the Wizard King, he'd let me go," Asta muttered stubbornly.
"The Wizard King is missing, and the kingdom's in crisis," Adam countered, his voice calm but stern.
"You should be thinking about protecting your homeland — not showing off your strength or trying to outdo Yuno."
"Competition is fine. But if you chase it too far, you'll lose your purpose. Remember — the people are what matter most. To become the Wizard King, you must win their hearts."
"Reflect on that."
His words hit Asta hard. The young man looked down, fists clenched, frustration bubbling under his bandages.
When it came to Yuno, he just couldn't control himself — that was his biggest flaw.
Sigh… the sorrow of youth.
"Save me!!"
A sudden explosion rocked the palace.
Conrad burst out, holding the king hostage.
He shouted toward the Wizard King's palace, "Julius! I've got your mascot! Why don't you come save him!?"
Hundreds of green portals tore open, spewing waves of destructive magic. The former Wizard King had begun attacking innocent civilians.
Perhaps he still thought the capital was filled only with nobles...
Without the Emperor Sword, he had completely lost his mind.
"I'll go stop him!" Asta yelled, drawing his Demon-Slayer Sword and charging out before anyone could stop him.
The Black Bulls scrambled after him.
Princia sighed. "You're not going to stop him?"
Good Adam chuckled softly. "No one listens until they hit a wall."
