Chapter 95 - “You’re exhausted,” he said softly, still holding her steady. “Sit down first.”

Hearing Xu Dan's urging, Skye's face flushed with embarrassment. Even so, she steadied herself, gathered her courage, and walked toward him.

But she had only taken two steps when her legs suddenly weakened from exhaustion. She stumbled, falling forward—her hands landing against Xu Dan for support.

Xu Dan instinctively reached out and caught her before she could fall again.

"You're exhausted," he said softly, still holding her steady. "Sit down first."

He guided Skye to the chair beside the desk. She was still too tired to speak, so she simply nodded, cheeks burning.

Mai looked at her with concern. "Director Skye, you pushed yourself too hard today."

"Get some rest," Xu Dan added. "We still have a lot coming up this month."

...

A long while later, the intense rush of the afternoon finally settled.

"Alright, Mai," Xu Dan said calmly, returning to his usual composed tone. "You go finish the paperwork. Skye needs to rest for a bit. It's been a heavier day than usual."

It was already past three in the afternoon. Fortunately, both of them held high enough positions that no one would question their absence.Rules were rules—but influence was influence.

Placing the worn-out Skye on the office sofa, Xu Dan went back to his desk and picked up the document he had been reviewing earlier.

It was a proposal concerning the acquisition of several game studios in the island nations.

That region had a large base of niche and otaku players, making it perfect for certain… bold creative projects. But Xu Dan dismissed the thought. Small gains were not worth his time.

This chain of incidents sparked something far more important in his mind:

A company's growth inevitably brings obstacles. And eliminating obstacles early was always better than waiting for them to become crises.

One key issue stood out clearly:

Pony's company, Xunteng, was already showing the early signs of rising greatness.

If Antarctica didn't exist, Xunteng could realistically become the world's most dominant gaming enterprise. That was potential—and potential needed to be handled correctly.

The pony of this universe was no less capable than the one in Xu Dan's memory.

Seeing this future clearly, Xu Dan made his decision.

He picked up his personal phone and dialed a number from his contacts.

The call connected quickly.

"Hello? Mr. Xu?" Pony's respectful voice came through. Working with Antarctica had made his tone increasingly deferential.

No need for polite nonsense. Xu Dan said directly:

"Pony, if you're free, fly over. I have a new cooperation to discuss."

The moment he heard the word "cooperation," Pony stiffened in shock.

Game companies around the world were begging to work with Antarctica.Only a few stubborn fools still clung to the fantasy of competing with it—utterly delusional.

Pony had always taken cooperation seriously, and because of that, Xunteng had benefited greatly, riding Antarctica's momentum and drinking the soup that fell from the great table.

It was why they were now one of the strongest domestic agents in the region.

Pony hurriedly cleared his schedule, wrapped up a week's worth of work in three days, and boarded a plane to New York with renewed motivation.

Xu Dan personally picked him up at the airport, then drove him straight to the most iconic restaurant in the city.

The cuisine was mediocre and overpriced, but the brand and privacy made it perfect for business discussions.

Inside the VIP room, once the wine had been ordered, Xu Dan went straight to the point:

"Pony, I want 30% of Xunteng's shares. I'll pay full price."

"This…"Pony hesitated. It wasn't a small decision, even for him as founder.

Very few companies in the world operated like Antarctica—where the boss's word alone was law. Xu Dan had never once miscalculated, and his decisions always hit the mark.

He was a phenomenon. There would never be another Xu Dan.

Seeing Pony's hesitation, Xu Dan narrowed his eyes slightly, amused.

"You've been expanding fast, but your capital chain is tight. If I give you the agency rights for the new Antarctica title you want—can you even handle the server load?"

Pony stiffened.Xu Dan had seen straight through the company's situation.

Xunteng earned enormous profits from Antarctica's games, but they reinvested everything into expansion—creating a capital shortfall and urgently seeking investment.

Xu Dan poured him a glass of rare liquor and said lightly:

"If you go to outside investors, they'll demand more than I will. You won't even have the room to hesitate."

Pony swallowed hard.Xu Dan wasn't wrong.

Without immediate capital, their growth would collapse.

And no investor in the world would be as generous as the boss of Antarctica.

Ashamed of his hesitation, Pony downed three glasses in apology.

"President Xu… thank you."

"No need for thanks." Xu Dan waved it off. "I'm buying equity because I intend to help Xunteng grow."

He smiled faintly.

"You're short on servers, yes? I'll lend you a new generation unit."

"A… new type of server?" Pony blinked. He knew of every server model on the market—but this didn't match any of them.

Of course not. This was Antarctica's internal hardware—45% more powerful than Stark Industries' top models.

A miracle machine in this era.

After the meal, Xu Dan personally guided Pony through the Antarctic Game Building. The pony's eyes gleamed with ambition and awe.

He felt the massive gap between himself and Xu Dan—And made it his life goal to chase that height.

Paperwork took time, sign-offs, lawyers, documentation.

But in the end—

Xu Dan acquired 30% of Xunteng.More than Pony himself held.

With that, Xu Dan effectively became Xunteng's largest single power.

As he prepared to board his private plane, he paused and added:

"By the way—have you heard of an English teacher named Ma Yun? He started a company called Ali Mimi. If he's looking for investment, send him to me."

Pony thought about it.Same surname. Worth helping.

"That Ali Mimi? Sure, I'll contact him."

Xu Dan nodded and stepped onto the jet.

In the future he remembered, that English teacher would change the world.

Even if this company had nothing to do with games—He simply wanted to be involved.

Too much of his wealth was piling up unused. And investing in potential giants was far too enjoyable to resist.

If the future insisted on producing super-entrepreneurs…

Then Xu Dan would simply invest in them all.
