After Gojo killed one of Doflamingo's foot soldiers, the rest of the group immediately froze in terror. Their faces turned pale, and cold sweat began dripping down their foreheads. None of them had expected Gojo to kill someone without a moment of hesitation simply because he didn't like the answer he had been given.
Gojo stood calmly before them, his expression unchanged. Looking directly at the frightened men, he spoke in a casual tone that only made the situation more terrifying.
"Well, I will ask again. Where is Doflamingo?"
The group trembled under his gaze. Every one of them knew that if they refused to answer, they would die right here. They had just witnessed that reality with their own eyes. Yet they also knew another terrifying fact: if they revealed Doflamingo's location and he somehow survived this situation, he would undoubtedly hunt them down and kill them for their betrayal.
For a few moments, nobody spoke.
Gojo looked at their conflicted expressions and immediately understood what was going through their minds. He lightly shook his head.
"It seems that none of you have any will to live," he said indifferently. "It is better for you all to die."
The moment those words left his mouth, one of the men completely broke.
"N-No! Wait!" His voice cracked with fear as he hurriedly pointed into the distance. "Young Master should be over there!"
Gojo followed the direction of his finger. In the distance stood one of Dressrosa's towering landmarks. Across it, in massive letters visible even from afar, were the words Flower Hill.
The terrified soldier continued nodding repeatedly. "That's where he should be!"
Gojo smiled faintly. "Well, see how easy that was?"
The soldier nearly collapsed in relief.
Without wasting another second, Gojo rose from the ground. The air beneath his feet distorted slightly as his body lifted effortlessly into the sky. Then, he shot forward.
Whoosh!
His destination was now clear: Flower Hill.
As Gojo flew through the air toward Flower Hill, news of the intruder's identity had already reached Doflamingo. The man who had broken through a section of the Birdcage and entered Dressrosa was none other than Gojo Satoru, the God Slayer.
The moment Doflamingo received that information, his expression darkened considerably. His usual arrogant smile disappeared completely.
"What is he doing here?" Doflamingo muttered, his brows furrowing.
More importantly, why was someone like Gojo specifically targeting him? That was the part Doflamingo couldn't understand. As far as he could remember, he had never directly provoked Gojo. Yet, the man had destroyed part of the Birdcage and was now coming straight for him.
The uncertainty made Doflamingo unusually cautious.
Meanwhile, Gojo continued flying toward Flower Hill. As he passed over the city, his eyes occasionally drifted toward the streets below.
What he saw was horrific.
Countless civilians were being forced to attack the people they loved most. A husband desperately struggled as his own hands moved against his wife. Parents cried as they were forced to raise weapons against their children. Brothers attacked brothers; friends attacked friends. Tears streamed down their faces while their bodies moved entirely against their will.
The strings attached to their limbs glimmered faintly under the sunlight, controlling every movement like puppets on a stage. The victims screamed, begged, and resisted with all their strength, yet none of it mattered. Their bodies no longer belonged to them.
Gojo didn't need to think twice about who was responsible. Only Doflamingo would create such a twisted spectacle.
The scene below was gruesome beyond words. For those being controlled, it was a nightmare from which there was no escape. The physical pain was one thing, but the emotional torment of being forced to harm one's own family was far worse.
Gojo was not someone who usually involved himself in every tragedy he came across. He wasn't the type to play hero whenever he saw people suffering. Yet, even he couldn't completely ignore what he was witnessing. The despair on their faces was impossible to miss. The screams, the tears, the helplessness, and the overwhelming pain echoed through the streets.
Even Gojo found it unpleasant to watch. His expression gradually turned cold.
Then, without slowing down his flight, he released his Conqueror's Haki.
Boom!
An overwhelming pressure exploded outward from his body. Invisible yet terrifying, it surged across the city like a massive tidal wave, spreading in every direction and covering everything in its path. The very air seemed to tremble as Gojo unleashed his will in full.
As Gojo's Conqueror's Haki spread throughout Dressrosa, people began to faint one after another. The civilians who had been desperately struggling against their own bodies suddenly collapsed, their eyes rolling back as they lost consciousness. At the same time, the attacks they had been forced to carry out against their loved ones came to an abrupt halt.
The invisible wave of Haki continued expanding without pause, sweeping across the entire island until it completely enveloped Dressrosa. Every corner of the kingdom trapped within Doflamingo's Birdcage was covered by Gojo's overwhelming will. Countless civilians collapsed onto the streets, unconscious and motionless. Parents, children, husbands, wives, and friends all dropped where they stood.
Seeing this, Gojo continued flying toward Flower Hill. He knew that from this moment onward, these people would be safe.
Technically, Doflamingo could still control their bodies through his strings. However, Gojo understood Doflamingo's personality well enough. Doflamingo didn't simply want people dead—he enjoyed the process. He enjoyed watching family members kill each other with their own hands. He craved their despair, their helplessness, their agony, and the permanent guilt that would remain with them forever. That was the entire point of this twisted game.
The man is a complete psychopath, Gojo thought.
Now, however, all those civilians were unconscious. Even if Doflamingo controlled them, there would be no screams, no tears, no resistance, and no emotional suffering for him to enjoy. The entertainment had been stripped away.
As Gojo rapidly approached Flower Hill, another person finally shifted his attention toward him: Pica, one of Doflamingo's top executives.
At this moment, Pica was in his gigantic stone statue form. Using his Devil Fruit ability, he had merged with a massive section of the island itself, manipulating enormous portions of walls, pathways, buildings, and rock formations to create a colossal humanoid figure. The giant stone monster towered over the landscape; compared to it, ordinary humans were less than insects.
Soon, Pica spotted Gojo approaching, and the gigantic stone face twisted with determination. Flower Hill was right behind him. As one of Doflamingo's most loyal subordinates, he had no intention of allowing anyone to reach his young master.
Without hesitation, Pica attacked. A gigantic stone fist surged forward.
BOOM!
The fist displaced enormous amounts of air as it moved, creating powerful shockwaves that blasted through the surroundings. Buildings shook, dust clouds exploded outward, and the ground trembled beneath its sheer weight. The attack was powerful enough to flatten entire city blocks.
Yet, Gojo showed no concern whatsoever. As the massive fist approached, he casually landed on top of it. His feet touched the stone surface lightly, and then he simply stood there—calm, relaxed, and completely unfazed.
The giant fist continued moving through the air while Gojo remained balanced atop it as if he were standing on ordinary ground. From his position, he looked toward the colossal stone giant before him. The size difference was absurd; compared to Pica's enormous body, Gojo was no larger than an ant.
Even so, there wasn't the slightest hint of pressure on his face. Instead, Gojo activated his Six Eyes.
Instantly, the world around him changed. His perception expanded dramatically. The enormous stone body that Pica had created no longer mattered; Gojo's gaze pierced through it effortlessly.
Pica had hidden himself exceptionally well inside the giant structure, using layers upon layers of stone to conceal his true location. Against most opponents, it would have been nearly impossible to find him. Unfortunately for Pica, his opponent was Gojo.
Through the Six Eyes, Gojo could clearly perceive the flow of energy throughout the giant structure. He could identify Pica's exact location, his body temperature, his Haki, and even the subtle movements within the stone. Locating him was almost laughably easy. To Gojo, it was as though Pica had never been hidden at all.
"There you are," Gojo muttered.
The next moment, he vanished.
Pica had already noticed Gojo standing on his fist. Seeing that, he immediately altered his attack. Rather than simply punching him away, Pica intended to smash his own fist into the ground and crush Gojo with the resulting impact.
However, before he could do so, Gojo used Shave.
Whoosh!
His figure disappeared instantly. Pica's gigantic eyes widened slightly.
Gojo moved with terrifying speed through the air, crossing an enormous distance in the blink of an eye. Within moments, he had arrived near the left shoulder of the giant stone body. And coincidentally—or perhaps not so coincidentally—that was precisely where Pica was hiding himself inside the structure.
Gojo floated calmly in the air near the giant shoulder, his eyes fixed directly on the exact location of Pica's real body. A faint smile appeared on his face.
He raised his blade, which was already unsheathed, and swung it downward in a clean vertical arc.
Whoosh!
A powerful, white flying sword slash erupted from the blade. The slash tore through the air with terrifying speed, leaving behind a bright trail as it shot toward the giant stone body.
BOOM!
The attack struck the shoulder area directly. For a brief moment, the massive stone structure remained still. Then, cracks rapidly spread across the entire shoulder. The next instant, the entire section was violently severed and blown apart.
Chunks of stone the size of houses exploded outward in every direction. Dust clouds erupted into the air while enormous fragments crashed toward the ground below like falling meteors. The giant stone body's shoulder was completely destroyed, and with its destruction, the figure hidden within was finally exposed.
The moment his hiding place was torn apart, Pica's body became visible amidst the collapsing stone. Blood immediately spilled from his mouth as the backlash of the attack struck him.
"Cough!" His eyes widened in disbelief, the shock on his face unmistakable. "How...?" His voice was filled with confusion.
Pica simply could not understand it. He had hidden himself deep within the giant stone structure, separated from the outside world by countless layers of rock. Even skilled Observation Haki users would have struggled to locate him so quickly. Yet, Gojo had found him almost instantly. It was as if his concealment had never existed in the first place.
Floating calmly in the air, Gojo looked at him with complete indifference.
"Nothing can be hidden from me."
The words sounded simple, but to Pica, they felt terrifying.
Before the executive could even process what had happened, Gojo disappeared. Pica's pupils shrank as the distance between them vanished in an instant. One moment Gojo was several meters away; the next, he was already right in front of him.
Too fast. Far too fast. Pica didn't even have enough time to react.
Gojo's expression remained perfectly calm as he thrust his sword forward in a precise stabbing motion.
Shink!
The sword pierced directly through Pica's neck.
For a brief moment, everything became silent. Pica's body froze, his eyes widening to their limits as blood slowly flowed from his mouth. He tried to speak, tried to move, tried to do anything—but no sound came out. The life rapidly faded from his eyes.
Gojo pulled the blade back in a smooth, fluid motion, scattering blood through the air. Pica's body went limp immediately. One of Doflamingo's top executives had been killed before he could even put up a proper fight.
Without the support of his will, the giant stone body Pica had created began collapsing even faster. Massive sections of rock broke apart and crashed toward the ground below while Pica's lifeless body tumbled through the sky, descending toward the streets far below.
Gojo merely glanced at the falling corpse before turning his attention toward Flower Hill once again. Pica had never been his objective.
Doflamingo was.
