Hunters mainland.
The vulture, with a grim face, was staring out into space.
Both the undead mainland and the level 2 civilization mainland were now out of its sight.
So it knew from the distance they made,
They have at least one day to devour that speedy mainland before the two catch up.
But that wasn't important now.
At this moment, it was thinking about the little troublemaker with his name at the top of the contribution pillar.
The vulture turned its head and saw that the name 'Mortal' was still shining brightly.
"How did he survive that explosion?
I specifically bought a batch of that bomb, plus the flash drive from a wandering 'Agent' of a level 3 civilization, to deal with those scientists.
But a lawless newborn actually survived it?"
The seller who sold the 'goods' was from an advanced hidden mainland called level 3 civilization.
Unlike the level 2 civilization,
Higher beings were still the rulers there,
And they themselves were the ones who advanced their mainland in a scientific way,
Or at least that was what the vulture heard about that place.
Throughout its long life, the Vulture had never personally seen the level 3 civilization's mainland and had only heard stories about it.
Seeing that the troublemaker survived a bomb from that mysterious civilization, the vulture felt Mortal's ability wasn't only a simple invisibility, or how could he survive it?
He even survived its clone explosion....
The Vulture felt really annoyed.
"I lost my treasures, the newborn's birthday gifts, and most importantly, that guardian token..."
The guardian token was the only thing necessary for this upcoming battle with that speedy mainland.
"That newborn was indeed nothing but bad luck...
The newborns are gone, their birth treasures are gone, and I need to find or buy a new batch of them...
Well, I hope those scientists enjoy the company of that troublemaker."
And while chuckling, it felt happy and sad at the same time for losing Mortal.
It was happy because it believed he was the source of misfortune.
And it was sad, because it knew he had so much potential that it could be used.
Then its gaze locked onto the lava sea, which was calm now with the departure of Lilith.
"What was the deal with Lilith?
Was her involvement on my side only big enough to give her the 'reason' for entering after my attack?
What's the point of all this?
It all benefited me in the end."
Then it sighed,
"Only if I didn't lose that guardian tok-ehh!?"
The vulture suddenly saw something at the shore of the lava sea.
It flapped its wings and arrived there in a moment.
A different token, but similar to the Guardian Token, was now lying on the shore silently...
"What is this?
It's like that guardian token."
And picked it up.
"Oh, there is a message inside for Lord?"
And then activate it by emitting Lord's aura.
A message starts playing.
[ Greetings, my lord.
It's me, Viros.
I found an interesting ability of this token that might be helpful to us for contacting each other if you lose contact with Apollo.
The main guardian token can be swapped with any child token, and the one controlling the main token can utilize this function.
I just used this function to inform you and ask if there is anything you'd like to know about our side.
You can leave your message inside this child token. I will take it back in another 10 days on your side.
I waited until now to be sure the guardian token is already with you.
P.S.: Only I, and now you, know about this. ]
A smile appeared on the vulture's beak.
"I was right.
That Mortal is nothing but bad luck.
Just 1 day after his departure, and I got lucky!"
....
Somewhere far away from Hunter's mainland.
Morthyxis was now back on the 'road' too.
While she had a standoff with that huge and indestructible metallic brain, which she couldn't get rid of easily, the wormhole suddenly closed, and the brain, while its army of space ships turned off, left in a hurry.
She didn't know what happened,
But she used the opportunity to leave with all of the spaceships stuck on her side the moment that big brain left.
But while leaving, just a glance at the enemy mainland was enough to shock her to the core!
The other mainland was in a mess!
It was rotating extremely fast around itself for some reason,
There was a sentence written with fire on it that was hard to read because of the speed of rotation.
Tall buildings were collapsing, and the suns connecting to the Mainland were rotating with it and chaotically colliding with each other or shooting in different directions in empty space like fireballs!
And if it wasn't enough, everything actually was turned off at the same time in there,
And the only thing still functioning was the big brain.
"What kind of disaster did they suddenly face?"
Wondered the undead queen to herself.
She attacked the hunters because she wanted to know if that newborn, Mortal, saw her secret, or if it was just her imagination.
Was that little boy somehow special, and could he enter the dream of creatures at her level?
Or was there a coincidence involved?
The secret of her heart, being the host of so many universes, couldn't be revealed.
But while she thought that was a good opportunity to find the truth with the sudden change in Hunters mainland, and she attacked them immediately,
It actually backfired on her, and she ended up fighting with the level 2 civilization that opened a wormhole in her side using an unknown method.
After that,
She even saw the vulture throwing the newborn away, while he exploded later on.
So she thought he was dead now.
However, not long after, the enemy mainland began to rotate and face disaster as well, similar to what happened to the Hunters mainland not long ago.
"Was that newborn really the embodiment of bad luck as the Vulture said?"
While puzzled, she left with her mainland.
The race to catch up with the speedy mainland wasn't finished yet.
....
Level 2 civilization mainland.
Above the building that Little Mortal ran away from.
The large metallic brain was suspended in mid-air, motionless.
It was now scanning the mainland, analyzing the changes that had happened here, and tracking the traces left behind by an invisible force.
This building-sized brain was the current manager of this mainland.
It was a combination of the most innovative and most successful scientists' consciousness.
After a while, the iron brain reached a conclusion.
[An anomaly has been detected related to one of the four mainlands below.
1. Level 2 civilization mainland
2. Undead mainland
3. Hunters Mainland
4. Speedy mainland
Requesting headquarters to destroy any of these targets on sight.
The anomaly is undetectable. ]
From the trace left behind, it knew a living creature,
Around 1 meter tall, with unmeasurable power and completely invisible, was the source of the destruction.
In its analysis, the only Mainlands nearby were the four Mainlands that it mentioned in its message.
Not long after, it gathered all the data it could and summoned a flying chip to deliver the information to a specific mainland.
It even included its own mainland to be destroyed on sight because of the invisibility of the target.
After it was done, the chip with the information flew away, was transported to a wormhole created by other chips, and left the mainland's zone for a different destination.
Not long after, the chip appeared in empty space, flying in a certain direction.
But a brief moment after it came out and the wormhole behind it closed, a coin-sized beam of light collided with it.
In just a moment, the chip was melted with the laser beam strike that came out of nowhere,
And because it was on the other side of the wormhole, and the wormhole was already closed, the big brain didn't receive any signal from it to know it was destroyed.
It would receive a signal from it, though.
But not anytime soon, because the signal needed to travel the distance between them without having access to the wormhole now.
If a certain little guardian saw the laser beam that melted the chip and destroyed the information,
He would nod knowingly before saying,
"See that?
My fate skill triggered again and stopped the snitch from selling me out!"
And just like that, the possibility of a certain guardian being exposed resets to zero once again!
....
*cough* *cough*
"No!
I still can't die...
I have many unfinished tasks to complete..."
Little Mortal came back to life after 'struggling' at the death door, with Rose and others' help and encouragement.
He took a deep breath and, after doing some hand seals, said,
"Divine technique, full health bar in a moment!"
And turned back to 'normal'.
The audience wondered why he didn't use it when he was 'dying'?
Little Mortal, at full health, looked at Rose.
"Assistant Rose, aren't our guests advancing?
Why are you running around instead of freeloading?"
Rose chuckled,
"I was freeloading,
But some of the fairies asked for help."
Little Mortal raised an eyebrow,
"What help?"
"The new fairy's garden that you sent over has many newborns stuck inside cocoons.
No one can open them except your puppet, Grave Robber.
But he is too slow, and the number of cocoons is too many."
Little Mortal nodded,
"Oh, right, that spider was a peak level 7, probably,
And its web should be pretty resilient.
Well, you can go, I'll take care of it."
Rose nodded and brought out a table of food.
"Let's have some food, boss, and talk about your trip.
I go after that."
Little Mortal, who saw the foods, rubbed his belly,
"Alright, I'll free those brats after my food.
I haven't eaten for 10 days!"
And the two start eating.
While eating, Little Mortal looked at the glasses of knowledge,
"Little glass, tell me, where are my suns?
I said I want this planet to be big enough when I'm back so that suns can orbit around it!"
The Glasses of Knowledge was speechless.
What did you expect to happen in a day?
For a planet to be big enough to have suns orbit around it, it needs to be like a supermassive black hole when it comes to mass.>
Little Mortal froze for a second,
"I forgot that only one day passed here...
And for Lubo to keep the gravity the same while the planet gets bigger, it needs some time too...
Alright, take your time."
Then turned to the backpack,
"Big guy, where is the other half of my silver platform?"
Half of the silver platform was indeed missing.
The backpack trembled,
Little Mortal furrowed,
"Who in the world is Elder Iron to come here and order you around?"
"Oh, you mean Ronnie!
Yes, yes, give him anything he wants.
That's our only legit bodybuilder."
Then he asked the Guardian Token,
"Mr. Token, how many of those outsiders are level 7 now?"
[ None.
Each of them won only one challenge, and they are currently in the middle of their second challenge. ]
Little Mortal shook his head,
"So slow...
I need to give them some more motivation later."
Rose, who saw there was an opportunity, asked,
"Boss, how was your trip?"
Little Mortal smiled and said,
"I achieved my goal, which was bringing that garden here, and saw two other prey."
Rose became interested,
"Prey?
You mean two other mainlands?"
Little Mortal nodded,
"Yes, Little Crystal, show those savages killing each other to Assistant Rose.
Oh, wait, bring out those puppets too.
Farm some law from them."
And after summoning the puppet squad,
The Crystal showed them the three-way war that happened a day ago.
The crowd watched curiously at first,
But soon they were shocked.
What kind of mess was this?
How powerful are these creatures?
Especially the outsiders who recognized their people!
Rose asked,
"Boss, is that the Vulture you talked about before?"
Little Mortal nodded,
"Yeah, the manager.
But it's a level 10 creature,
So, others in the scene you are watching can't see it, except for other Level 10s.
These outsiders don't even know about its existence.
Oh, by the way, if you want to see a level 10 creature's origin story, we recorded one!
But its 'genre' is 'tragedy', so be ready to cry a little."
Then he pointed at the skeleton phoenix fighting in the sky,
"It's the origin story of the boss of that big skeleton!"
Even the birth treasures and puppets of outsiders, who were supposed to be more knowledgeable than the rest, wanted to watch now!
What Vulture?
They had a level 10 manager on their side?
And what level 10 undead?
For how long did they live and fight on Hunters mainland?
Lord was always the strongest, not some Vulture!
And the mainland itself was level 10!
They were barely familiar with level 8 creatures,
But now there was an origin story of a level 10?
While the crowd was watching the records of Little Mortal's journey going 'behind the enemy line',
Little Mortal left.
....
Forbidden Jungle.
The new fairy's garden from Hunters Mainland was now merged with the old one from Speedy Mainland.
The God of Life and Death was carefully cutting open the cocoons, one by one.
Each newborn inside was in good condition.
But they all had a mark on their forehead,
Which was like a vulture tattoo.
The fairies and newborns who came to see their new comrades were talking about their condition,
"They are all healthy."
"But completely sealed by something."
"Were they kept healthy to produce high-quality law?"
"Probably.
But what's this mark?"
"I don't know.
Don't touch it; I feel it can kill them easily."
"Why are these cocoons so sturdy?
It takes ages to open them all!"
"Yeah, only this grave robber dude can do it..."
A sound suddenly came from behind,
"What in the world is this place?
Kindergarten?
And why aren't you brats freeloading?"
The newborns from the older batch were the first to react.
They all ran in different directions without looking back.
The new ones that were bought by the 'mainland troublemaker' with paying child tokens as currency were slower.
They turned around first, but when they saw the toddler in black martial arts clothes holding a huge red blade on his shoulder like an executioner,
They screamed and ran away in the remaining directions.
They had already seen all of his videos in the World Law's Guardian Archive,
And knew this Evil child was actually a con artist, extremely strong, and short-tempered, who fooled the whole mainland.
No one on this 'unreal planet' called Lubo dared to oppose him,
And the second most dangerous entity here was actually his birth treasure.
An evil birth treasure called Lubo, to be exact, that only a handful of people actually saw.
Seeing the kids running away, Little Mortal was speechless.
A familiar fairy jumped on his head,
"Boss, what's your level?"
Little Mortal puffed his chest,
"118!"
Thousands of *gasp* sounds came from all over the place.
Little Mortal almost ran away!
But when he saw what the source was, he sighed in relief.
The new batch of fairies, who were suddenly brought here to this foreign planet, were hiding all over the place in the trees.
The more newborns, and the bigger the mainland was, the more fairies would appear in its garden.
And their number wasn't few for a level 10 mainland.
They all gasped when they heard this scary kid with a familiar martial arts outfit saying he was level 118.
"Level 118?"
"Even that Lord guy was level 8,
And he is claiming to be 110 levels higher than him, the strongest in our former mainland?"
"And what was this reaction?
Those newborns ran away the moment he came, but the fairies became excited?"
"Is it just me, or is that God of Martial Arts' outfit?"
"That's indeed Menshiro's birth treasure..."
"How did it end up with him?"
"No idea... I heard that old thief took it!"
The fairies were as confused as they could be.
When he suddenly showed up in their garden, killed that spider, and sent them here,
They thought he was their savior.
But this reaction?
Is he an enemy or a friend?
Then they heard him saying,
"Little fairies, how many cocoons do we have?"
The old fairy boss from the first garden flew to him and said,
"Around seven thousand, boss."
Little Mortal gasped,
"How long will it take to free all of them one by one?
That won't do!
We need to start a production line, alright?
Here's how it's going to work, listen carefully."
The fairies listened attentively.
"On one side, we receive newborns in cocoons,
And on the other side,
Our output will be newborns without cocoons.
Do you... Understand?"
The new fairies were puzzled, but the ones who knew him nodded.
"Alright, here is what we do.
You little fairies form two groups.
One group brings the cocoons and throws them at me,
And one group receives the newborns that I'm passing on to you.
Is that clear?"
The new fairies were still puzzled, but the ones who knew him nodded again.
An old but timid voice sounded from behind a tree,
"What about the seals on them?"
Little Mortal looked around and said,
"Who said that? Come out."
And a shivering old fairy flew out slowly.
"It was me, greetings, Ultimate Tyrant."
The whole jungle suddenly turned silent!
The fairies all turned to it with eyes full of shock!
Little Mortal furrowed,
"Excuse me, I didn't hear you.
What did you say?"
The old fairy was going to repeat itself,
But the other old fairy came to the rescue,
"The leader said,
'Guardian Mortal, they have a seal on them.'
This friend is the leader of the new fairies that you brought here, by the way."
Little Mortal looked at them suspiciously, as if doubting his ears.
"Hmm...
And what seal are we talking about?"
A fairy brought a newborn that was out of its cocoon to him.
Little Mortal looked at him,
"Where is the seal?"
And they pointed at the newborn's forehead.
But there was nothing there.
The newborn's eyes were even open, looking around in confusion.
The fairies,
"???"
Little Mortal looked back at the one who said there is a seal.
And the old fairy who called him 'Ultimate Tyrant', because it heard those newborns calling him like that, turned pale.
But the other old fairy came to its rescue, again.
"Boss, I think it disappeared when he got close to you.
We have a couple more; let's test it out."
Little Mortal nodded.
The fairies sighed in relief.
It seems he probably didn't hear that old fairy calling him 'Ultimate Tyrant' either, or he wouldn't be so calm.
How could this short-tempered boss forgive anyone just like that?
After bringing another one, they saw the mark indeed disappeared when the newborn was around 2-3 meters away from Little Mortal.
Little Mortal, who saw this, clasped his hands,
"Alright, everyone!
As you can see, our production line is now in perfect working order.
Let's begin."
And then he started covering his eyes with his headband.
The old fairy asked curiously,
"Boss, what are you doing?"
And Little Mortal chuckled,
"I'm making the process interesting."
The fairy asked in puzzlement,
"Your spiritual sense is working now?"
And the now-blind Little Mortal, while raising the blade above his head with two hands, shook his head.
The old fairy was slightly scared now,
"Boss, you know these new batch aren't part of the territory yet, right?
Your frontline effect isn't applied to them because they didn't sign any contract..."
Little Mortal stopped,
"Oh, you are right."
The fairy sighed in relief.
"We should add a table and pen for them to sign the contract too, or our production line will be incomplete."
And then called for his 'brush and inkwell' to come and join the 'production line'.
The fairy was speechless.
"No, boss, I mean, if you make a mistake,
You might cut the newborns inside instead of the cocoon!"
Little Mortal, with covered eyes and the red blade above his head, asked coldly,
"Little fairy, are you questioning my mastery in swordsmanship?"
The fairy gulped down,
"No, boss, I mean, if accidentally..."
Little Mortal paused for a moment and then nodded,
"You are right."
The fairies, who saw him look more like an executioner than a 'cocoon opener', finally sighed in relief again.
He seems to know his mistake.
But,
"I'd better warm up first...
Who should I warm up with, though?
Oh, aren't you little fairies part of the territory?"
And before the fairies even had the opportunity to turn pale or scream, he attacked, or to be exact, he started his warming up!
The fairies only heard a sentence,
"Secret technique, public haircut!"
And the nightmare began!
"Oh no!
You stupid leader, you made him mad!"
"Run, everyone, run!"
"Run to where?
He is everywhere!"
"If you see a red light, run in the opposite direction!"
"What red light! There is red light everywhere!"
"It's too late! There is nowhere to run!"
"Boss, spare us, it was that ignorant leader who called you the Ultimate Tyrant!"
"Boss, your swordsmanship is unmatched! Calm down!"
But it didn't matter where they tried to run or hide, or how much they begged,
Little Mortal didn't stop.
There was only the sound of screams and *whoosh* from the red blade cutting something.
After about 10 minutes of chaos,
All of the fairies, new and old, in two groups, were standing obediently to start the production line.
All of them now had the same haircut.
All 'crew cut' style.
After looking at them teasingly,
Little Mortal chuckled while leaving.
The old fairy asked with a trembling voice,
"B-boss, what about the-"
But Little Mortal snorted and interrupted the fairy,
"You are underestimating me too much, little fairy."
And snapped his finger as he disappeared in the passage.
All the cocoons on the ground or in the fairies' hands were cut in two at this moment, the newborns dropped out, and there was no seal on their foreheads!
The fairies were stunned,
*Gasp*
"No way!"
"When did he do that?"
"While he used his secret technique on us,
He actually freed them, too!"
"So overpowered..."
"That's level 118 for you in action!"
"Boss was always invincible..."
"Remember never to doubt his swordsmanship!"
"What about the production line...?"
"With unlimited power, HE is the production line!"
"A living, breathing production line!"
"Why did he cut our hair, though?"
"Don't you know him?
He always takes revenge on you!"
"B-but our leader only called him a tyrant by mistake..."
"Little one, you are new in this neighborhood, so you don't know.
When the boss is furious, his flames of anger burn dry and wet together!
If you are his enemy, he will kill you!
If you are his friend, he will scare you to death!"
The new fairies took note of the information about their new boss and how to behave around him.
The old fairy sighed,
"From now on, we should first teach the newcomers how to behave.
Or he might give us an ugly haircut next time..."
The fairies gasped and agreed immediately.
.....
Demoness Sect.
Little Mortal was now riding his tricycle through the empty sect.
He didn't see a single junior brother or sister.
Not even elders.
All of them had gone to freeload.
But he wasn't here for them,
He was here for the black man, he called Ronnie, who was training in the back of the mountains.
After a while riding, he arrived at a certain mountain behind the sect, which was Elder Iron's training place.
As he got closer, the air seemed to get 'heavy',
The animals of this territory were either gone or remained and became visibly buffed and more muscular.
Even the trees and flowers were thicker and rougher compared to those in other parts of the sect.
Little Mortal, seeing the changes, clicked his tongue,
"My goodness, look at the creatures here!
They are all under the effect of Ronnie's 'Muscle Aura'!
And what's this heartbeat sound echoing through this place?
It reminds me of that black dragon friend of mine when he was asleep."
*thoom… thoom… thoom…*
A rhythmic sound like a heartbeat was coming from the depths of the mountain, followed by an invisible wave passing through the whole mountain after each *thoom* sound.
Little Mortal, while fascinated by the scenery and special effects, finally arrived at the training ground, or Ronnie's gym to be exact.
This place was specifically designed for a bodybuilder, and a variety of equipment was placed on a silver platform.
However, you could see that the platform was already 4 meters sunk into the ground due to the weight applied to it by the plates and equipments.
Even now, the platform was sinking slowly and compressing the ground underneath it.
Little Mortal parked his tricycle and jumped down inside the gym.
Then he walked to the center, where the squat rack was.
At this moment, a man, or maybe a monster, was squatting there.
The sound of the heartbeat was clearly from him.
The man, with black, metallic skin and veins like rivers pulsating under his skin, was now in the middle of his set.
A special sound effect was emitted from him.
Little Mortal walked around him, and while looking at the mountain of muscles that seemed to be carved by a master sculptor, which was lifting an unknown amount of weight, he kept nodding in approval.
"Look at him.
Arms like tree trunks,
Chest and shoulders wide as a castle gate,
Legs thick as pillars holding the heaven above,
Muscles that carry an unstoppable force,
Veins that you can use as a water transmission line to supply a whole city!"
And then he walked closer and kicked his leg, which made a *ding* sound,
"And skin made of steel!
What else can you add to a man and make him the representative of masculinity and manliness?
Huh!?
Nothing!
This is the peak!"
Elder Iron, while Little Mortal was commenting about him, didn't react at all.
He was squatting slowly, with unfocused eyes,
As though he wasn't in this world.
The silver barbell on his shoulder, filled with thin but heavy plates, was bent to both sides so much that when he was squatting down, the two ends of it would almost touch the ground.
Little Mortal, who saw him shows no reaction, said,
"This dude is far too deep in the 'zone'.
No way you can bring him out now,
And I doubt he will be interested in joining the rest instead of lifting weights.
Little crystal, send him some law from my account and gradually push him to level 6.
I leave a message for him to join us later."
The crystal vibrated.
Little Mortal watched him for a while more and then left after writing something in his notebook.
It seems he gave Elder Iron a certain 'role' in the upcoming 'live action movie'.
....
A while later,
Little Mortal, riding his tricycle, arrived at a deserted area.
A group of familiar higher beings, with 'sealed senses' in a sealed area, were trying to advance to level 7.
Farther away from them, outside the seal, billions of creatures were freeloading in a circle around them.
Little Mortal, after a glance, furrowed his brow,
"Where is 'Coward'?"
The Goddess of Foresight was nowhere to be seen, even though she was on the manager's list to advance.
The crystal that asked its other colleagues received an answer and vibrated,
Little Mortal, not surprised at all, chuckled,
"I bet she cheated again!"
"She used her foresight, probably.
But I thought her foresight was inevitable and couldn't be changed...
As if Fate only shows her what it is 'cooking' for her.
So why is she acting outside of the norm now?"
Then he shrugged,
"Whatever, leave her be.
Foresight is connected to fate,
I don't want to put my nose in 'fate's business'."
Then he turned around and walked away.
The crystal didn't understand what he meant.
When it comes to fate, the law that never had a representative, things were complicated and mysterious.
Not long after, Little Mortal was back at the silver platform while furrowing his brow.
He then patted his martial arts clothes and muttered to himself,
"I feel something is off about my martial arts clothes."
The backpack on the side trembled,
Little Mortal gasped,
"Oh no!
I didn't know at that time that if I went there with birth treasures, they would lose power...
And it wasn't my first time going there wearing my martial arts clothes either..."
Then he went inside the backpack and changed into his black suit while placing the martial arts clothes on his backpack.
"Have some rest and absorb some sunlight,
You get vitamin D from it, and it can help you recover faster."
The martial arts clothes,
<-_->
After this little monster brought all of the newborns from the Hunters Mainland, it was now his.
So it could just connect to a bunch of universes, like the rest of the birthday gifts, and recover; what vitamin D did it need?
Little Mortal, oblivious to the new fact, picked up his crystal and started tapping it,
"Okay, little crystal.
We need to upload some pictures to motivate our 'secret workers' to work harder."
The crystal vibrated,
The birth treasures gathered to see what picture could motivate those scary outsiders!
