Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 (The Battle-3!)

Seeing his story, I shouted, "Antak, this bastard's curse name is 'Bottles of Death!' Its first form is that he will make us his story and then turn us in his bottles, and when his first form failed to activate, he will now use his second curse of the 'Flames of Revenge.'

Just like how he killed his boss and other guys, he will use the same trick and spill a drink on us, and we will ignite ourselves. Don't let him talk or take out anything; it is all part of his curse!"

Hearing my warnings made his movements more reckless; now any movements of the drunkard trying to reach his pocket or anywhere were surely cut down by him. Now he wasn't looking like he was messing around, and now I have split more than 5000 bottles, but it isn't even slowing his speed a bit, but Antak was now able to fight pretty conveniently compared to before when he was struggling to barely hold him for moments.

But soon the fatigue started to hit my body and mind, and I felt hands growing around my neck and a few voices echoing in my mind, "Let Daddy be free. Why are you disturbing him?" And another voice, but this time the mature voice of a woman: "Please release him from his suffering; he has been struggling with his curse for many years. Please save my husband!"

Hearing this voice, I started to feel a bit of pressure as I gestured towards Antak to use something that could free him.

Seeing my gestures, he sighed and shouted while gathering all the energy particles back to him, "Kiddo, you are asking for it, but why aren't you adding him to your collection? He can be a big help, and whatever your reason is, start running!

I am about to use my 3rd-stage curse directly, so at the count of 5, just run no matter how far you have to run; keep running and don't look back. No matter how many tricks you have to use, use them and save your puny ass today!"

Hearing him like this made me realize that I wasn't even cut out to sympathize with others, but maybe seeing these two souls with one main body surely threatened me and made me realize how much I was lacking.

Even if I captured him and tried to use him, what would happen if the souls of his family members interfered with the event or caused me to lose? Then I would be left as nothing more than a puppet in my opponent's hands.

So I didn't want to be a walking corpse with me; I only captured those who were alive from inside, but this bastard wasn't even alive. This guy was dead the moment he saw the corpses of his family and buried them with his hands. Only his frustration towards those acts and people was pushing him to this point, so I didn't really want dead weight with me.

Maniacs like Antak were much to my taste, but not these types of guys—they surely were not even worth killing, like they remind me of myself or my upcoming future.

And when he began to count while I was insanely shocked that this bastard started to receive help from the souls of his children, these little assholes started handing over the bottle to him, and now my work was greatly increasing, and so were the counts of antak, reaching three.

I already had destroyed more than 100 bottles in these moments, but now my hands were not even feeling intact, just stiff and numb; my every movement was this sloppy, so every movement felt like nothing but a struggle of death, and soon my legs also started to feel like giving up.

And I thought of something and opened my suitcase—surely I took precautions before messing with such a jerk and brought a fresh batch with me. Soon my spirits started to tear the bottles and started to waste the tries of them, but soon they intensified, and creepy screams started to emerge from them, while Antak gestured me to pay attention to his count.

And he shouted "four," and the energy particles started to form a deep whirlpool under their feet; the width of it was increasing with every moment.

I could feel that this whirlpool wasn't normal; there were tons of spirits in it, and all of them were trying to cling to everything they could hold on to. And there was no end to them. While I was sinking in this scene, the screams started to increase more and more, and the whole area started to be covered in them, as I was in insane shock, and so was that drunkard guy.

And he screamed while buzzing off the creatures, "Who are you, and why do you hold such a curse, the manifestation of emotions?"

Hearing his words made him laugh as he screamed, "5! Run, NOW, BRAT!"

Hearing his words, I started to use my spirit to make me leap out of his area. But from behind, I took a glance and saw that the whirlpool started growing immensely, and the strange things started to cling to everything they could hold on to.

Even his bottles were just taken away by the spirits, and they started to devour those bottles and tear the flesh out of him.

Bit by bit, like how a person who didn't have anything for days suddenly gets a buffet, only that scene could be imagined in such a brutal and inhuman way, but after seeing such a scene, he threw the spirits of his children and wife away from him and shouted, "Protect them; I only have this final wish. I failed to protect them, but please keep them safe now for me!"

As they reached my side, they all screamed, "Father, darling! Don't leave us; please take us with you!" Surely such a scene was pretty devastating as the whirlpool stopped expanding and started shrinking, and the laughter of Antak started to echo in the entire surrounding, and he spoke, "I am Antak! The slaughterer of the dead! I am the one who slaughters souls like you and frees you from living! Hahahaha!"

Soon the whirlpool closed, and massive shock waves started to rise from that whirlpool. I captured both children and their mother to my side and used my remaining spirits in my suitcase as a shield and saw how that drunkard's skin was torn piece by piece and a strange final ball of energy emerged from him, and Antak started to walk towards us by holding it in his hands.
