Chapter 37 - What did you do to my Airmid!??
"I didn't find you in the bedroom, so you came here to make potion again! You were mentally exhausted from treating the wounded yesterday and overusing magic! Didn't I tell you to rest for a few days?"
Unexpectedly, Dian Cecht ran over to Airmid nervously, looked her up and down, clearly flustered.
That look reminded Noah of many doting fathers who might seem rough but were terrified of their daughters crying.
But what was even more unexpected to Noah was that Airmid did not respond directly to her own God but continued to stare at Noah, as if she were under an illusion.
"Hmm? Airmid?"
After calling out several times without getting a response, Dian Cecht obviously noticed something was wrong.
Following Airmid's gaze, Dian Cecht looked over and met Noah's eyes. His own eyes turned sharp, like a father seeing his daughter being charmed by a playboy on the street.
Not good! This old fart!
The next second after Noah had this thought, Dian Cecht's lips began to tremble, and his beard quivered like a lion's mane.
"That brat! What did you do to my Airmid?!"
Do what? I didn't do anything!
With an agility that completely contradicted his appearance, Dian Cecht leaped onto the counter, looking like he would pounce on Noah in the next second. Noah subconsciously stepped back.
However, it was precisely this movement that snapped Airmid out of her daze. She hurriedly called out to Dian Cecht. "Wait! Lord God! What are you doing?!"
Dian Cecht, who had already jumped, heard the sound and turned around in mid-air with an agility that even Noah found amazing, looking at Airmid in surprise.
But before he could say anything, a hint of fear appeared on his face, making his expression quite comical as he lost his balance. No matter how he struggled, he still fell forward face down.
"Bang!"
"Ah!"
In frustration, he landed headfirst on the ground.
"Lord God!!"
After a period of chaos, they were in a reception room.
"Hmm, so Lady Riveria wants me to have Mr. Noah undergo a physical examination and treatment?" Airmid asked. She was wearing a formal white dress, which made her look even more petite.
Riveria didn't answer immediately but looked at Airmid. Then she glanced at the person next to her: Lord Dian Cecht, wrapped in bandages from the chest down, unable to speak but staring resentfully at Noah.
Riveria nodded hesitantly. "Well, let's do a checkup first to see his physical condition. Miss Airmid, can you handle it? Are there any other members of the Dian Cecht Familia available?"
Airmid glanced at Noah and quickly looked away. "Don't worry, Lady Riveria. I'm already eleven years old. Although I can't perform surgeries like restoring eyesight or reattaching severed limbs, with the help of magic stone items, I can still perform a physical examination."
"Wuwuwu!!" Dian Cecht, standing by, let out a series of unclear but somewhat creepy muffled screams upon hearing that Airmid would personally examine Noah. But Airmid ignored him completely. She stood up and walked towards another door.
"The treatment rooms are all occupied, but the lounge over here is sufficient. Please follow me, Mr. Sifel."
However, Airmid stopped halfway and looked back at Noah, who hadn't moved.
"Noah?"
Riveria also looked at Noah. "What's wrong?"
What's wrong? How dare you ask me what's wrong? You didn't ask my opinion when buying the armor, and you're not asking me now about a physical examination?
If Noah hadn't been able to sense Riveria's underlying kindness, he would have rolled his eyes.
"Um, Riveria, is a physical examination required for every new member joining the Familia?"
"No, I specifically requested it for you."
"Then can I refuse?"
It's one thing to have a few men measure my waist and shoulders over my clothes. But for this examination, I have to take off my clothes, right? Taking off my clothes in front of an eleven-year-old girl feels strangely wrong.
"That's not impossible..."
Before Noah could react happily, Riveria suddenly sighed. "Well, even though I spent 50 million Valis on your armor and even took the trouble to beg Lord Goibniu for a long time to get this opportunity... since you're so resistant, then I'll just treat it as a waste of my time. Sigh..."
"Wuwuwuwu!!" Before Noah could say anything, Dian Cecht let out another struggling cry, but this time he turned his gaze to Riveria.
Begging me? You were clearly half-coercing me using the materials from the deep floors that the Dian Cecht Familia urgently needed!
Noah could roughly guess the truth from Dian Cecht's aggrieved look. But Riveria had already put on an act; what else could he say? He had no choice but to get up silently and follow Airmid into the lounge.
After a physical examination that cannot be described in detail, Airmid was the first to walk out, holding a piece of paper, frowning as she wrote.
"Five broken bones, over thirty wounds have incorrect muscle connections, and the stitches on the shoulders and knees look like they were made by a girl sewing for the first time. And you're even malnourished?! This is unbelievable. Mr. Noah, do you not care about your body at all? How did you treat your injuries? Honestly, I'm amazed you're still alive!"
Behind her, Noah followed out with a dazed look. In addition to being scolded by Airmid, the more important reason was that he hadn't even known his body had so many problems.
After Riveria heard, her brows kept frowning.
Feeling like another lecture was about to begin, Noah quickly changed the subject. "Well, how should I treat it?"
"Anyway, suspend any Dungeon exploration activities and get some initial treatment. First, follow the three..." The originally continuous series of words suddenly paused. After Airmid's eyes flickered for a moment, she continued, "Anyway, stay in the her for seven days first."
Under the gaze of this girl, Noah felt cold all over.
"Bang—"
The sun slowly shone down, and the sound of the bells symbolizing the beginning of the day spread throughout Orario.
