White and Kito sat together on the hill, it was 7:00PM, and the sun had already set. The lights of the training grounds were all starting to gleam in the dark around them, White and Kito sat together, the soft wind blowing on them. Kito started the conversation "Kazuma said you were mad at me. Are you?", White replied "What does it look like?". Kito sighed "Look, I don't know what I did to make you so pissed, but I'm sorry. Okay? Things are already hard as they are. Training, going on missions, almost dying, trying to get stronger. It's all hard, having an argument with a friend is the least that i want.", White kept quiet for a moment before responding "Kito, you have an unsatisfiable thirst for knowledge. When you get new information, you apply it to whatever you can, you don't forget things, and you definitely don't have a short term memory, that's why....". Kito looked a bit confused, White then asked "When I told you and Volt to back up while i was reading, you took a peek of the techniques that were in the scroll. Right?", Kito replied "Yes, I did. Was there something i shouldn't have seen?", he asked. White explained "The attack clan, especially the Noble Lords faction, are very secretive about the knowledge they have, they don't like other's understanding how they're techniques work. Most of the time, we kill people who have memorised our techniques, that's if they are not of our clan or even allied with us. The other dark side about it is that if you want to be spared from being killed, they'd force you to marry someone of the clan, and then you change your old name.", Kito looked stunned "Huh? Really?", he asked, White responded "Yeah.". He continued to talk "In a way, your thirst for knowledge to gain more power makes you a natural enemy of mine due to my attack clan blood. To be honest, I was pretty mad at you when you did read a technique, that was why I closed the book. But then again....", White kept quiet for a moment before saying "You're my friend, and I can't let you get into trouble because of an innocent mistake you made.". Kito felt bad, he scratched his head "Looks like im the one who's at fault. I shouldn't have looked at that eye technique I saw in his scroll. Then again, I'm a little eager to learn it.", he thought to himself, he kept thinking of the eye technique he saw In White's book "I want to know more about it.". White called to Kito's attention "Kito....", Kito looked at him "Yeah?", he responded. White asked "I actually don't mind you learning that technique, the one about [THE ALL SEEING EYE]. But, we're going to have to be in an agreement of some sort.", Kito asked "An agreement?". White's eyes started to glow, they looked at Kito with serious intent like they were warning him "If you're gonna keep the knowledge you have of our clan, we're going to have to do a ritual.", Kito looked wary at the moment on seeing White's eye's "Ritual?", he asked with his eyes locked at that of White's. White explained "You can't just learn a technique that belongs to another family, even you've got to understand that it's rude.", Kito thought to himself "Makes sense.", White continued to explain to him "The ritual isn't something that's going to be something to serious, but it's going to test you and make me understand if you're worthy of such knowledge or not.", White's energy started to brew out of his body "Right now, I'm not talking to you as a friend, I'm talking to you as a solider who wants to protect his clan, you may have forgotten this, but I'll remind you regardless. I'm the only son of the Brightstar family. I'm not going to allow anything get in the way of our peace.", Kito's eyes were still narrowed as he thought to himself "That makes sense. I mean, as a member of his family, the first born for that matter, it's only natural for him to try to protect whatever he's entitled to....". Kito closed his eyes "I'm not going to question your reasoning or your mentality, but it cool.", he thought to himself before responding "Yeah, I understand. Don't worry. Most of the knowledge I have are what I keep to myself, I don't go blathering around because i understand something better than most.", he smirked "So it's fine. Whatever the ritual is, I'll do it. No matter how long we live, we'll both partake in it.". White for a moment paused before he started laughing "Hhahaha", Kito smirked "What's the problem? You don't think that's possible?", White said while laughing "You think we're going to live that long? Really?", Kito's smirked started to widen "Why not? You don't want to die yet, do you?", he asked. White stopped laughing, but he still had a smile on his face "Whatever, we'll live for as long as we have too. If one of us dies before the other, we won't be able to perform the ritual anymore, that's fine.", he looked at Kito with a smirk "Thanks Kito, you made my day, really.", Kito smirked back "Happy I could.". At the other end, Yuji and Roy were face to face with each other in a dark corner. Outside the corner was filled with lights shining around the training camp, young boys who had formed their teams were having fun with one another. Roy asked Yuji "Hey, Yuji. What's up with you? We've never spoken like this before.", Yuji replied "I came to talk to you about something.", Roy responded "Okay, ask.". Yuji eyes narrowed "What happened between you and Volt this afternoon? And why are you like this?", he asked, Roy clicked his tounge "Really? We're doing this? Since when did you become all goody- goody?", Yuji replied "You haven't answered my question.". Roy explained "Look, I did what I did. Okay? You should know me by now, Yuji. I'm not a good person", Roy said with some delight in his voice, he looked at Yuji with a smirk "I don't care how you or anyone feel. If I want to do something horrible, I'd do it. That's what I enjoy the most, taking down people for my own pleasure.", he stretched his hands forward before taking them to the side "See? The world needs someone like me, someone who takes without feeling a thing. Whether I'm part of the bad guys or good guys doesn't matter, I chose to be like this because i liked the idea of being like this. You hear me?", Roy tilted his head with a smirk "And if you're hating, it means I'm doing something right. Don't you think?". Yuji looked at Roy as if he was analysing him with his cold blue eyes, Yuji walked passed him with his hands in his pockets "I'm not going to tell you that what you're doing is right or wrong, that's not the kind of person i am. If you so much as do something to displease me, I will cut you down. But don't forget, if you continue to go like this, you're going to regret.". He walked out of the dark corner "Better change now before it's too late, Roy!", Yuji's voice echoed as he left the ally. Roy kept a straight face before he smirked and started laughing "Haha! You sure have changed a bit, Yuji!", he said to himself before walking out of the ally.
