Yuji and Kazuma had escaped into a tall building to hide, they had ran away from Ranpo, for now. Kazuma and Yuji were laying in the halls of an abandoned building, Kazuma was clearly tired while Yuji was bruised and injured. After both boys had gotten their breath, Kazuma asked Yuji "Are you okay?", Yuji sneered "OFFCOURSE IM FUCKING HURT!", Kazuma sneered at him in response "WELL IM SORRY FOR TRYING TO ASK!". The two kept quiet for a while, Kazuma sighed "Look, there's no way we can beat Ranpo sensei, the best thing to do is run. We still have the ball with us, right?", Yuji looked at Kazuma "How would i know, you're the one who's supposed to be with it.". Kazuma sighed "Ahhh", he snapped his fingers, the glowing ball still enclosed in its box appeared in his palms "Offcourse I'm with the box. I instantly teleported it somewhere else the moment we started this whole exam thing. Now that we're in the clear, we can rest a bit and strategies how we're going to beat Ranpo.", Yuji looked at him "The only way to beat him is by trying to fight him.", Kazuma placed his hand on his face like he was dissapointed "It's obvious you're wrong.". He looked at Yuji "Ranpo sensei is clearly stronger, faster and overall better at fighting than we are. I'm not saying we shouldn't fight him, what I'm saying is that we should focus more on running than actually fighting him.", Yuji looked at Kazuma for a moment without saying a word "What?", Kazuma asked. Yuji asked "Kazuma, you just said you can teleport objects, right?", Kazuma replied "Yeah, I did.", Yuji asked again "And you also have the ability to teleport yourself and switch places with other objects, right?", Kazuma responded "Yeah, I can. You've seen me do it before.". Yuji got up and yelled "THEN WHY THE HELL DONT YOU JUST DO THAT?! YOU HAVE AN ABILITY THAT CAN LITERALLY AVOID US FIGHTING, BUT YOU'RE NOT DOING IT!". Kazuma seemed offended "Hey, don't yell at me! It's my ability so I know why I refuse to use it in some certain ways .", Kazuma calmed down and explained "Teleporting objects is much more easier than teleporting a person or yourself. When I teleport, I usually know where I'm teleporting to because I can see the place and I know how the place looks like already. But Teleporting to a place that I haven't been to and only depending on imagery will get me lost. If I do that, I'll appear at a place im not supposed to, and that would get me into bigger problems.". He stretched his hand out to the side "And plus, teleportation fatigues me when I use it constantly. If I continue to practice, I'll get better at it, that's true. And plus, it can be very predictable too, so I try to avoid that.", Yuji sighed "Look, Kazuma. I understand where you're coming from. But if you choose to run more times than you actually fight, we're not going anywhere.", he stood up "This is a fighting competition, everyone is expected to go all out regardless of who our opponents are. You're not running because that's the only plan you can think of, you're running because you're scared of Ranpo sensei. You understand how strong he is, you've silently studied him, and you've already had the mindset of not being able to beat him, that's why we haven't gotten too far.". Yuji's eyes narrowed "You're the kind of person who gets things fast and thinks on his feet, Kazuma. We're going to fight him, and we're going to find a way to win. And knowing you, you've already created a plan on how to win, haven't you?", Kazuma smirked "Yeah, I have.". Yuji smirked "Alright, let's hear it.", Kazuma explained "I'll use my ability to create weapons and set traps, then I'll use my teleportation to-", Kazuma hadn't finished his sentence before he and Yuji heard a giant [BANG], it sounded like concrete being destroyed. Kazuma and Yuji were immediately alarmed by this, both boys went to a nearby window to check what it was, and what they saw shocked them more than they have ever been shocked In their lives. They saw Ranpo carrying buildings and then smashing them on the floor "Oh, Kazuma, where are you? Yuji, I know you can hear me!", Kazuma and Yuji were in horror on seeing Ranpo straight up carrying buildings and smashing them to the ground "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!", Kazuma exclaimed in his head, Yuji on the other hand scremed in his head "BITCH! WHAT THE FUCK?! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS MAN?!". While Ranpo was just lifting and dropping buildings, a playfull smirk grew on his face as he looked to the side "Hehe....!", he scoffed "HE'S LAUGHING?!", Kazuma and Yuji exclaimed. Kazuma turned to Yuji "Alright, new plan. Let's get the hell out of this building!". After Ranpo had destroyed a ton of buildings, he looked around the massive chunks of rubble around him "Hm, nothing here. Where exactly did those boys hide? I know they're sneaky, but not that sneaky. I cant even sense their energy.", he looked at a building to his right and smirked "Ah, gotcha!", as he walked slowly towards the building he thought Kazuma and Yuji were hiding in, he prepared a tramendous amount of energy into his hand "Sorry, boys. You might be my students, but even I'm not going to hold back against you both.". As Ranpo was about to blast the building into nothing but ash, Yuji flew our of the corner behind him "HEY, YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!", he yelled, Ranpo turned around with a smirk on his face "So the roach finally came out to play!!", he exclaimed with excitement. Kazuma's voice replied from behind "Yep!", Ranpo was stunned for a moment. As he turned around to attack Kazuma, he suddenly realised that he had been held in place by a number of traps. Ranpo wondered to himself "When did he-", Kazuma who was pointing a blaster at Ranpo, with a smirk on his face muttered "Got you, teacher!", before shooting a powerful beam at him. Yuji yelled "NOW, KAZUMA!", Kazuma snapped his fingers which then caused blasters made out of his purple energy to appear out of nowhere to start teleporting around and shooting Ranpo from all angles. Ranpo was completely overtaken the blasts from all directions, Kazuma on the other hand smirked and proofed away, it was a clone that Ranpo had encountered. The real Kazuma was running on top of buildings along side Yuji as they saw all this event play out, Yuji smirked "Heck yeah!", Kazuma created more traps, rockets and beams of energy to fly at Ranpo who was currently overtaken by his previous attacks, this caused more explosion to occur all over the place and wipe out buildings. Kazuma called to Yuji "Yuji, quick! Give me your hand.", be grabbed Yuji by the hand and teleported together with him. Ranpo swatted the explosion that had engulfed him away with one hand "Keeping me in place while you create relentless attacks to bombard me...", a smirk appeared on his face "Not bad, Kazuma.".
