In the destroyed battle torn training ground, Kojin was seen standing, one hand in his pocket while cleaning his ear. His body seemed bruised, and he was missing his black shirt, although his injuries and frost bites weren't that serious. He said while standing "Well, that was an exciting one. Never thought a C- rank weakling would be able to deal so much damage to me.", he looked at the weights on his arms "These things are supposed to reduce my power all the way to that of a C-rank, but if you ask me, it's pretty weak.". Kojin took a deep breath in and out "Although, for a powerless kid to be able to take me down for a little while, you're probably stronger than people look at you to be. Normally, I'd look at someone weaker than me with disgust and finish them off for standing near me, but you're different.", a small smirk appeared on his face with a scoff "Kito Kusekabe, or whatever your name is, you are strong. You're the only weakling i respect.". He walked off, heading toward the front of the gate that Kito was supposed to go into, he looked at the card in hand that he had taken from Kito "Seems like this card was supposed to open up something.". He looked forward and saw the mechanical box at the end of the gate he was supposed to guard "My instructions was to make sure no one gets to this gate, apparently it's part of an exam. Makes sense.", he walked to the mechanical box at the gate and then placed the card inside it. The box said with a robot's voice "MECHANICAL CARD INSERTED! PROCESSING INFORMATION....! OPENING BOX....", Kojin stared at the machine before it started to open up. After it fully opened up, Kojin saw an energy gun inside the box, this gun was far more advanced than any other energy gun or blaster. Kojin picked up the gun, looked at it for a few moments and came to a conclusion "This thing's useless.", he said. He walked away with the gun and then dropped it beside Kito "It's all yours kid, I have no intention of using that.", he walked away from the training field. Meanwhile, an assassin was spying on the event the whole time, she muttered while she flashbacked to a few moments ago on how Kojin defeated Kito "The boy trapped Kojin in an ice prison, and before he knew it, Kojin broke through it and slammed him with a dangerous amount of destructive energy.". She continued her monologue "If he had taken the card all the way to the box there, he would have kept that device for himself as a prize for winning. Well, he did lose, but Kojin wasn't interested in the weapon. So, it won't be be bad to make the assumptions that Kito Kusekabe won. Yeah, I guess that makes sense, the assassin looked at her device and clicked Kito's name [KITO KUSEKABE, WON!], the device registered the information while saying it. The female assassin looked at Kito's unconscious body "I should probably look after him till he wakes up, or I could heal him up with a technique of mine, watch him with a summon animal and then leave.", the assassin sighed "AHH! I'll just stay here and watch the kid.". At the other end of the exam, Volt was also In a training ground that seemed incomplete. Volt was on one knee, he held his hand that had suffered a burn injury, flames surrounded the place , as a result, Volt looked very tired and injured as he was breathing heavily. From the flames walked a woman's silhouette, a nice busty shape with her long hair blowing left and right. Out the flames, the woman walked out, it was Suzuha, and the young solidier she happened to have been fighting, was Volt. She walked out of the flames "You want to take a break, kid?", she asked Volt. A few moments later, Suzuha and Volt were sitted together as Volt's burn injuries were treated by her "Does it hurt?", she asked, Volt replied "Yeah, it does.". Suzuha laughed dryly "Sorry about that.", she picked up a drink from her bag and gave it to him "Here, have it.", Volt grabbed the drink "Thanks.", he said before gobbling down the drink. Suzuha breathed out "AAAAAAAH! That was refreshing, wasn't it?", she asked him, Volt replied "Yep, it was.". Suzuha then tells him "Volt, you've gotten stronger since the exams.", Volt looked at her "Oh, you mean the gladiator exams? I guess I have.". Suzuha looked at Volt for a few moments before saying "You know, you do have a lot of skills and potentials. Not just that, you know how to make those potentials to good use, I'm really proud of you.", Volt smiled softly "Thanks.", he said. Volt thought to himself "Suzuha, you really are a nice person. You treat everyone with kindness, and you are an overall good person.", he then thought of Roy with a mocking and loud smile on his face "I can't believe someone like him is your younger brother.". Suzuha asked him "Are you okay?", Volt replied "Sure I am.", Suzuha got up with a mild smile "I see.". She looked at Volt before smiling "I got tired of fighting with you. To me, seeing how strong you've gotten was all the results I needed. You win.", she tossed him a small bell. As she walked away, she said "That bell was an item you were supposed to get as a result of your success In beating me. You can have it.", she said to Volt as she walked while waving to him with a tired smile "Later, kid.". Volt looked at her as she left, he smiled softly "Later.", he stood up "Aaah! Alright, all I need to do now is submit this back to the soliders at the training camp, and I'm done.". He looked back "I wonder how the rest of us are doing.", he shrugged off the thought "Doesn't matter, they're strong enough to handle themselves, so I won't worry much. It's not like it's a mission or something, they'll be in the room by the time today ends.".
