"So, I guess you can call me a Senju," Silva muttered as he looked at the now recovered forest in front of him. After the arrow he shot a few hours ago, a major part of the forest had been completely obliterated.
But Silva was able to guide the power from the rest of the forest to recreate the destroyed parts within a few hours. It was not easy, as he had to channel the powers for a few hours, and for the first time ever, he had felt a bit drained after using the power of the forest.
"Guess I am not doing the thousand hand buddha anytime soon," he muttered as he took out his bow once more.
He tested the powers while channelling the energy from the forest before. Now he needed to see how much energy it actually took to use the artifact.
After two days.
Silva finally managed to answer the questions he had before about the combination of the two pantheons.
First of all, the combination of the two powers requires twice the amount of energy required to use a single attack. Meaning, to use the armband and his bow at the same time, he has to put twice the amount of energy he usually uses to fire a particular arrow.
But this price is actually cheap, considering that the boost given by the combination of the two powers is actually twenty-five times the normal amount.
No wonder Percy, Annabeth, Carter, and Sadie wanted to prevent this knowledge from spreading. If either of the pantheons learns about this combination, they might start an entirely new war to get the power from the other side.
As for the matter of cooperation, no chance in hell. Both the pantheons are so prideful that they would destroy half of their own lands before the idea even comes up.
And don't forget about the fact of the monsters' side. If they, by any chance, have the power to combine as well, the result would be many times as disastrous.
So, it's better that Silva keep this matter to himself.
And that brings out the other problem. Silva was able to feel a new type of aura being released when he combined the two powers. But he had found no way to cover it at all. The only thing he was glad about was that the special aura was only present within his vicinity and not in the arrow that he had shot out. So as long as no one is near him while he is using this combination, he can hide its origin.
But even if they are near, they will only know that he was using a special type of power. They will have no idea that it belonged to an entirely different pantheon. So Silva is safe for now.
After testing out the other forms of attack he had with a really low-powered explosion arrow, Silva decided to stop his research on the combination, as he already knew enough to use it without any problems.
For now, it was peace at camp and the entire pantheon, since the recovery of the Golden Fleece was the only known trouble for some time. The Sea of Monsters chapter was over. So the only thing he had to wait for—
Silva suddenly froze as he felt a connection break down inside him.
The curse he had put on Luke had actually been destroyed.
Even though the curse was not that strong compared to one that the gods cast on mortals from time to time, it was still strong enough that most people would not have been able to remove it.
He looked back to where he had felt Luke's presence just before the curse was destroyed.
He took out an atlas he had carried with him before he had begun his travels. With what he had sensed, his current location, and the information from the map, he was able to determine the only important place in the direction from which he had sensed the power.
Mount Tamalpais, or to be more precise, Mount Othrys, the stronghold of the Titans.
He had guessed San Francisco and the Roman camp nearby, but he knew that Kronos would not bring the attention of that pantheon to his current state.
The Romans had no idea about Kronos's return and had battled Krios the Titan during the Battle of Manhattan.
So the only logical conclusion is the golden apples in Hera's garden, guarded by the snake-like dragon and the Hesperides.
Since the Hesperides had been guarding and taking care of Ladon the dragon for thousands of years, they might have gotten their hands on a few of the apples at least, and the apples, being divine, have no expiry date. The Hesperides were still allied to Kronos even though they are currently employed by Hera.
Or more like they are getting a more beautiful prison cell compared to the other Titans who lost in the war.
They might have used the apples to remove the curse, though the chances of it making Luke stronger are very high. But they will not allow Luke to become immortal by eating the apple, because once he becomes immortal, the entire game itself changes completely.
Kronos needed Luke as a pawn, as the demigods had freedom from the laws that bound the gods from doing whatever they wanted. As long as Luke stays mortal, the gods won't be able to directly attack him. But the moment he turns immortal, he becomes fair game, and Zeus will strike him down with a simple thunderbolt.
Silva was not disappointed that the curse was broken. He was just surprised that it did. He had a habit of forgiving people after some time. So if he had any grievance, he made sure to finish it then and there. That's why he didn't hesitate to use that dreadful curse on Luke last year.
But after a few weeks, the only thing that the curse gave him was the ability to find Luke's location. It made things easier but not having it won't trouble him that much.
"I'll just get even stronger to face anything that comes towards me," he muttered as he prepared to go back.
At the same time, on the side of the Titans—
"To make sure that Archer won't interfere this time, we might need to take some drastic measures," Kronos muttered as a new plan was being made.
A/N – Hope you like it.
