The other students were already asleep.

Nacht was lying on the ground with a giant metal rod piercing through his neck.
Diego: "Doesn't that hurt?!"

He pulled him out.
Nacht: "Ow… thanks, rookie."
Then his head fell off.
Diego: "AAAAAAAAARGHH!"
Nacht: "Oh man… it's been a while since my head fell off."
Diego picked it up and placed it back on. Veins reconnected, and his neck regenerated completely.
Diego: "Dude… that's insane… and terrifying."
Nacht: "Looks like the others aren't here… which means it's just us two, rookie."
Diego: "Oh… okay."
Nacht: "Then let's go look for the others."
Diego: "But what even happened earlier?"
Nacht: "That wasn't earlier. That was several hours ago."
Diego: "Wait… does that mean you were lying there for hours?!"
Nacht: "Something like three hours."

Nacht: "We need to find the others, rookie… That thing earlier was a portal… a type of magic that transported us somewhere else."

They kept walking.

They suddenly heard a voice.

They looked up. She was hanging from a tree branch.
Kisa: "I'm up here… mmm."

He threw his sword at the branch. It snapped, and she fell. Nacht caught her.
Kisa: "Thank you, Nacht."
Nacht: "No problem."

Nacht: "I'll carry you. Don't worry. We need to find the others."
Tina: "One of the others is here… you're literally stepping on her."

They looked down.

They helped her up.

It was a giant plant.

Her mouth was stuffed shut by vines.

He pulled out the sword and sliced the plant apart.
