MARRIAGE WITH LOVE
CHAPTER 12
When they reached home his father told him to freshen up and come to his study room. His mom also gave him a wink and went to her bedroom. Derak, staring confused at their backs,shrugged it off and went to his room.
After freshening up he went to his father's study room and knocked.
"Dad, may I come in", he asked.
"Yes, come in," his father said.
"What do you want to say dad"? Derak said while standing.
"What's so hurry Derek, come and sit beside me", father said.
Derak sat beside him.
"Actually grandpa Jonathan wants to talk to you tomorrow about something, he told me to talk to you first, actually he wants you to marry Alex because he wants her to settle down as soon as possible for him to be relieved".
"Wait! Dad, what did you say, like he wants me to get married to Alex? How is this possible? I didn't even know her much, how can I marry her"? Derak said, getting frustrated.
"Relax son, why are you getting tense, you should at least go and hear what he wants to say then you decide we will not force you". Said Derek's father.
"OK, but tell me first are guys agreed to this proposal"? He inquire.
"Well, it's not a bad idea so we have no reason to refuse it". Father said trying to act nonchalantly.
"O great! that means I'm the only one who thinks that it's not right time, hmm". He said
"Relax, tell me why do you not want to get married? Do you have someone you like? If yes then we'll tell him about it". Father said, trying to find reason for his refusal.
"No, it's not like that I don't like anyone it's just I don't want to take responsibility yet, besides, how I'm going to take care of her when I don't even know how to be caring"?
"Well, that's not a big problem, you're already thinking about responsibility. Does that mean you are mature enough or you don't like her"? Asked his father.
"No dad what you're saying, I'm just not ready to get married, it is that hard to understand"? He said in frustration.
"OK, ok I will stop here but I just want to go and at least hear what grandpa wants to say, is that alright"?
"OK fine I'll go, now can I go back to my room, I'm very tired". He asked
"OK, son and thank you for agreeing with me," his dad said in a loving tone.
After that he goes back to his room, he will not get any sleep tonight.

Alex comes back to her but she doesn't know why she is feeling that her grandfather is cooking something that has something to do with her,shrugged her thoughts she is going to take shower and sleep she is so tired.
