As Ezekiel meandered through the grass, the sounds of struggling got louder, until Ezekiel was finally located what was making that sound. It was a baby boar that was separated from its family because its foot was stuck in a bear trap.
Ezekiel slowly bent down to try and help the boar, but its squirms became louder and more intense. Ezekiel could sense that the baby boar was terrified, so Ezekiel gently began stroking the baby boar to calm it down. Moments later the boar was a lot more relaxed, so Ezekiel attempted to free the boar from its trap.
Ezekiel used his new found strength to force open the bear trap, so the boar could be set free and as it did, the boar let out a loud squeal.
Suddenly Ezekiel heard more rustling and the rustling sound was getting louder, as if it was getting closer to him. Ezekiel quickly stood back up and took a step back, but as he did an adult sized boar charged at him, as if it was trying to protect the baby boar, so Ezekiel quickly dodged out the way and began running frantically in the opposite direction. His heart was racing due to fear and his feet were pounding against the ground, whilst the only thought that was going through his head is to run. He saw a tree in front of him, so he jumped up it and began climbing as much as he could, then once he felt he was a good enough distance from the ground, he looked at the bottom of the tree and around the tree and there was no boar after him. Ezekiel let out a sigh of relief, but as he let out a deep breath of air, he froze. He was frozen in fear. He looked around him, he looked below him, there was nothing. But when he looked above him, it was as if he was staring into the jaws of death itself. It was a leopard. He was in a leopards territory and the leopard wasn't happy. In the African Savannah it's a crime punishable by death and the leopard was going to be the executioner. Its ability to move around in a tree was the best among big cats, Ezekiel didn't stand a chance. The leopard charged down the tree was its paw laced with murderous intent, as it scratched Ezekiel and knocking him down the tree in the process. Ezekiel hurt his arm on the fall, but didn't have time to complain about it because the leopard charged down the tree onto the floor, while Ezekiel got up off the floor and began running away, but unlike the boar, the leopard gave chase. Ezekiel could hear its thunderous footsteps trying to close the gap between them and it was working. The footsteps were intensifying, until they soon became no more. For a moment Ezekiel thought it stopped running after him, but all of a sudden Ezekiel felt a massive weight on his back, that was pushing him to the ground, Ezekiel instantly knew what happened and he also understood that he couldn't let himself fall or else it would all be over for him, so Ezekiel stopped running and with all his might, he pushed the leopard off of his back, but it wasn't enough. The leopard wasn't ready to give up yet. Now Ezekiel was staring death in its face, the two of them were circling around one another. Ezekiel knew if he showed any sense or fear or hesitation it would pounce on him, so he had stay strong. Running was no longer an option, so all he could is stay and fight.
"Shin Shin. What do I do? I can't keep on circling it forever." "Then stop circling it, stand it face on and then strike it, preferably its nose, since it's a leopards weak spot." "Easier said then done. What if it bites me before I hit it? Its already scratched my arm." "Don't think about what if, just do what you can do and that is striking its nose and making it run away. You're no longer playing by humans rules, but the rules of the wild, so you're going to want to fight like a member of the wild and that is on all fours." "But that's even worse. It could bite my neck and I could die." "Just do as I say and you will be fine."
Ezekiel stopped circling the leopard and the leopard followed suit and did the same thing. Then Ezekiel stooped low to the ground and waited for the leopard to come into range, but instead the leopard showed its teeth to Ezekiel as a form of intimidation, but Ezekiel didn't flinch, so the leopard turned around, wagged its tail, then walked away.
This time Ezekiel didn't let out a sigh of relief, but he remained perfectly still, as he watched the leopard walk away until it was out of view. Even after that Ezekiel didn't move, he was completely paralyzed. Paralyzed from fear. He used the last drop of bravery to stoop down, but after that his mind couldn't take it anymore, so he lost consciousness with his eyes open and while he was stooped down.
