Hirofumi was genuinely confused by the system's claim that his Mangekyo Sharingan had "no abilities." He'd gotten it from Uchiha Fugaku, so shouldn't he at least have Fugaku's Mangekyo powers? How could it have no abilities? A blank Mangekyo? That's just lame! Was he doomed to just pilot a giant Susanoo mech and call it a day?
As Hirofumi's mind spiraled with wild thoughts, the system's voice chimed in again.
[Due to the host possessing both Indra and Asura's chakra, your Mangekyo Sharingan is the purest in the world! You can use all known Mangekyo abilities, but they must be unlocked through your own ocular power. For now, your Mangekyo has no specific abilities.]
Hirofumi swallowed hard. His Mangekyo was kind of a big deal, huh? According to the system, any known Mangekyo ability was fair game as long as he could develop it. His eyes were like a blank canvas, ready for him to carve out whatever he wanted!
Beyond the standard Susanoo, his future arsenal could be ridiculous—Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Kotoamatsukami, Kamui, you name it! He could play with them all!
Hirofumi was practically shaking with excitement. Sure, Mangekyo abilities might not always be top-tier in strength, but they were undeniably cool. And in the ninja world, being strong is temporary, but being stylish? That's forever!
Snapping out of his daydream, Hirofumi glanced at the group around him—Madara, Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, and Fugaku—all staring at him expectantly. They knew he had one last summoning chance left, and everyone was curious to see who he'd bring out next. Each of them secretly hoped it'd be someone they knew.
Minato, especially, was fantasizing about summoning his wife, Kushina Uzumaki. He'd already heard about his son, Naruto, and knew he'd see him once Hirofumi started school. If Kushina showed up too, it'd be perfect—a family reunion!
Madara was the only one who didn't seem to care much about who came next. Hashirama was already here, and he wasn't sure if his brother Izuna could be summoned, so he just stood there, cool and unbothered.
Noticing their eager looks, Hirofumi didn't keep them waiting. He formed the hand signs for the summoning jutsu, using his final golden summoning opportunity.
A soul flame flickered into existence, slowly shaping into a feminine figure. She wore a loose white robe, her red hair tied up into two buns, each adorned with a paper tag dangling below.
Minato's heart leaped when he saw the red hair, but his face fell when he realized it wasn't Kushina.
In contrast, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Madara had wildly different reactions.
"Sister-in-law!!!" Tobirama shouted, practically bouncing with excitement. He shot a smug, almost challenging glance at Madara. Ha! Now that my sister-in-law's here, let's see you try to steal my brother, you wicked Uchiha!
"Whoa! It's Mito!" Hashirama exclaimed, shaking Madara's arm. "Madara, look! It's Mito!"
Madara's enthusiasm was noticeably low. And, well, that made sense—who'd be thrilled to see their romantic rival show up?
"Hmph," Madara grunted. "I see her. Go check on your wife already!"
"Right, right! Madara, wait for me—I'll explain things to Mito and be right back!" Hashirama rushed over to Uzumaki Mito, his face practically pressed against hers as he called out, "Honey! Honey!"
Mito, hearing her husband's voice, opened her eyes in confusion. Didn't I die? And didn't Hashirama die too? But there he was, his big goofy face right in front of her.
"Hashirama?!" she gasped.
"It's me, honey!" he beamed.
"Hashirama… what's going on?"
"It's like this…" Hashirama launched into an explanation of the situation, tugging Madara over as he went. "Honey, look! Madara's here too!"
Madara gave a reluctant nod. "Long time no see, Mito."
Mito smiled warmly at him. "It really has been a while. You know, when you left the village, Hashirama was down in the dumps for ages."
Her smile widened as she looked at her excitable husband. As his wife, she knew all too well the depth of Hashirama's bond with Madara. Truth be told, in Hashirama's heart, she probably ranked below his best friend. She'd been jealous about it plenty of times—especially on their wedding night! After the ceremonial sake, her idiot husband had the nerve to say he was going to sleep over at Madara's! If she hadn't used her Adamantine Sealing Chains to lock him in the house, he might've actually left her alone that night!
"Sister-in-law!" Tobirama chimed in, rushing over excitedly.
"Oh… Tobirama, you're here too?" Mito said casually.
Tobirama clutched his chest, stung by the familiar phrase. Why does this keep happening?! It was just like when Hashirama barely acknowledged him. Was he just… extra in this family?
After getting the full rundown, Mito greeted Minato and Fugaku with the grace and poise of the Senju clan's matriarch, handling everything flawlessly. Then she turned to Hirofumi.
"You must be Hirofumi, right? Look at you—so handsome already at such a young age! You're gonna break a lot of hearts when you grow up. And your strength? Way better than Hashirama was at your age!"
