Bakugo moved toward his classroom with heavy footsteps, a grimace twisting his features, and a mix of worry and fury swirling within him.
He kicked the door open, as usual, and some turned to him without surprise, as usual, while others offered nonchalant greetings.
But he ignored them all. His eyes wandered to a particular corner that was now empty. He couldn't stop a whisper from escaping his lips, soft, with a strange note, without the usual roughness that accompanied everything he said.
—Is she alright?
Silence fell in the classroom. Bakugo tensed, catching the repentant shift in the atmosphere, and glanced sideways at his classmates.
Open mouths, incredulous eyes, held breaths. Even the no-longer-so-cold Todoroki suddenly narrowed his eyes in his direction, for some reason Bakugo didn't understand nor care about.
He couldn't think of anything else; his mind had also frozen. What the hell had he said? And in what tone?
—Kyyaaa!— Hagakure shrieked in her seat, clutching her sleeves to what should be her face and swaying from side to side.
—Dude? Don't worry, those two are fine. We visited them yesterday and everything seemed normal— Kaminari said after awkwardly coughing.
The blonde's eyelids trembled and a sneer adorned his lips once more, his brow furrowed into a murderous glare, more in line with his attitude.
—Hmph! Who the hell asked you, idiot!?
While some chuckled and shook their heads, the door opened again, and the straight, silent, and somewhat intimidating figure of Tetsumaru entered with a calm stride.
All eyes turned to him, but the black-haired boy closed the doors and approached his classmates before walking to his seat, ignoring the scene.
That pricked Bakugo's frustration, and he went after him, slamming a hand audibly onto his desk, which made Tetsumaru raise his head slightly to look at him.
—What?— he asked in that annoying flat tone.
—What!? That's what I should be asking you, you ugly-eyed bastard!— the blonde roared. To the side, Mina jumped with an "Hey!" but everyone ignored her.
—Once again, you and Copper-Hair steal the scene and make us all look like idiots! Do you think you're better than me!? I challenge you, bastard!!— Bakugo continued spitting out a string of nonsense that not even he found logical, but he was already committed.
—Do you have a problem or something?— Tetsumaru sighed, as confused as everyone else. —How on earth is it my fault that a couple of lunatics came to attack us? Get some help, Bakugo, you still have time.
The blonde's teeth ground, his cheeks flushed with shame and anger. This ugly-eyed bastard always, always had a biting comment for him. And the worst part?
Bakugo always felt like he looked ridiculous when he argued with him. That's why he chose to stay away from Tetsumaru in kindergarten.
—Hmph! Help, huh!? And where's your sister!? Did they kick her butt so hard she can't get out of bed!?— He finally blurted out the question he wanted to ask from the start.
Tetsumaru paused for a moment, a hint of a smile almost forming at the corner of his mouth that only Bakugo noticed, being so close to him.
—Something like that. She's taking the day off— the black-haired boy said.
***************************
After shaking off Bakugo and answering some questions from his classmates, Tetsumaru spent his first half of the day in extreme boredom.
His mind wandered to Mei's state, wondering if the girl would ever want to try another craziness like last night's.
Early that morning, Tetsumaru had woken up feeling refreshed, renewed, complete, a satisfied smile adorning his lips as he felt the warm body clinging to him in bed.
He tenderly stroked the reddish-brown hair before carefully removing the arms and leg that were trapping him, getting up first to take a bath, washing away the scent of a night full of activity.
Going downstairs, he met Sakura about to leave for work. They chatted for a while, while enjoying a cup of coffee and tea, respectively.
The black-haired boy ironed his uniform and Mei's and also prepared breakfast for both of them.
When the time was approaching and Mei hadn't woken up, Tetsumaru decided to go up and wake her himself.
Pulling back the sheets, the sight that greeted him awakened an endless stream of emotions.
Face down, the kunoichi was drooling onto the sheets, her hands under the pillow, her back slightly arched, elevating that firm backside, one leg bent and the other stretched out.
He gently brushed the curve of her behind, admiring the sticky mess that was between those modest mountains.
He couldn't resist the temptation, inserting one of his fingers into the crater he had drilled without any restraint last night.
But it wasn't a pleasurable moan that reached his ears.
—AACK!! You son of a bitch!!— Mei shrieked, jumping up and spinning on the bed, holding her backside with her hands. A grimace of discomfort distorted her face.
Tetsumaru blinked, confused. -Are you alright? - he asked.
—Ugh, N-no!— she replied through gritted teeth. —My butt hurts!
She threw herself face down again, her chin sinking into the sheets while she rubbed her rear and writhed, clearly uncomfortable.
Even in that state, Tetsumaru felt nothing through the bond. He realized that Mei was purposefully blocking him, and that made him soften his expression.
He sat down beside her, rubbing her back in comfort.
—Will you be able to go to school?— he asked after a while.
—Ugh, I don't think so. I can't even get up right now. Tetsumaru, this, my butt is burning!
Despite himself, Tetsumaru couldn't help but laugh a little. Mei didn't find it funny, giving him a killer look and cursing under her breath, swearing never to give him her butt again.
Tetsumaru didn't believe her. The ecstasy she reached last night was insane and Mei enjoyed it too. Besides, despite her words and the irritation on her face, at no point did she share that feeling.
—Well, then I'll stay too. It's the least I can do, for, you know, causing you this pain— the shinobi said, but Mei shook her head.
—No need. If neither of us goes, those brats might invade our house again, and I'm not in the mood to receive anyone today— she turned with effort, looking at Tetsumaru with a reassuring smile.
—I'll be fine, Tetsumaru. This is temporary, I already read about it in a book.
Mei gestured for the black-haired boy to come closer, and they said goodbye with a kiss.
Returning to the present, the bell for lunchtime rang and everyone headed to the UA cafeteria.
However, Aizawa intercepted Tetsumaru on the way and dragged him to the principal's office.
Meanwhile, at home, Mei walked... No, Mei hobbled from the bathroom toward the kitchen, finding the stairs really difficult, given her condition.
The sensation sent by her sore hole in waves was not particularly painful, but annoying, uncomfortable, irritable, and burning.
She began to question what the hell was going through her mind as she ate standing up, since sitting was not a viable option at the moment.
Mei's day was not fun.
