Chapter 23 - Attack

A barrage of flaming arrows fall down from the sky then as it lands on the huts made from wooden frame and walls of daub the flame spread rapidly with this sudden attack the barbarians is panicking causing them to only think of running as they got near the river they suddenly felt dizzy and fell asleep, as everything was going into plan an earthquake began to happen then the cliff suddenly cracks appeared and the cliff collapsed causing some injuries in the soldiers, on the biggest hut in the center a man exited,he has long ears,green eyes, and white skin an elf , then the elf released an aura big and terrifying causing the nearby barbarians and allies to fall in their knees and he stopped releasing it and all participants of the battle falls silent then a girl and a man appeared it was Leonard and the barbarian girl Leonard then said " look like I was late, it's already started" then the elf looked at Leonard and said " I never expect humans to step that low ,sending a child to battle" the Leonard face curving into a smile and said " I'm not ordinary " and the small knife began to glow as mana flowed onto it then Leonard charge forward , the elf created a wall coming from the ground then Leonard penetrated it but the elf wasn't there next the ground which he was still mid air began to rise hitting him in the stomach then a huge rock coming from the cliff rushed downward aiming to kill Leonard , Leonard dodge the rock but was hit in the face by sma smaller one then a bruise appeared in his face then his face began curving into a smile as if being excited by the thrill of battle and launch himself forward but now with even more speed this caught the elf off guard then creating a scratch in the elf face then landing on the elf back and the once small knife became a sword because of the mana it was glowing then as if acknowledging Leonard the elf smiled and reach his hand causing a big chunk of the ground come flying over Leonard , Leonard the used his sword to cut the rock in two then a spear made from rocks appeared from the destroyed rockhe then use mana to strengthen his reactions and speed to jump and used mana slash aiming toward the elf, the elf noticing this used the ground to cover him from the attack then large spikes is coming in the ground one by one aiming to tired Leonard ,then a large fireball appeared in Leonard palm aiming at the elf ,on the other side of the field the barbarians are fighting with the soldiers then a big and mascular barbarian appeared challenging the strongest soldier then one of the commander entered and accepting his challenge the barbarian had a large axe and the commander has a large sword then they clashed with all that might and causing the ground to began forming cracks, the fireball successfully destroyed the barrier but the elf was not there then one of the spikes formed a hand aiming at the heart of Leonard ,ei ard with his buffed senses detected it but was scratch from the waist then the ground he was landing formed a spike and Leonard dodged it with only one inch to death he then landed safely and trowing his sword in the ground then the once glowing sword reverted into a small knife
