As it was getting late, Kaito found a suitable camping spot to prepare dinner—a clearing in the woods. The clearing was quite vast, with a nearly circular lake in the center, where the afterglow of the sunset left a faint yellow glow.
Water has always been a vital resource for living creatures, so there were many kinds of Pokémon in this clearing. At a glance, the lake contained Magikarp, Psyduck, Poliwag, Goldeen... and on the shore, Lotad was drinking water, then jumped into the lake. A blue Marill was playing with several small and exquisite Azurill.
