Soldiers flooded the hall with gunfire, bullets screaming toward the sorcerers as the enclosed space thundered with violent echoes.
Large missile launchers came out of the roof, breaking through white tiles in their way. Boom! Boommm!!
The room's temperature increased rapidly as the fire enveloped the surroundings. Suffocating black smoke blurred the vision of sorcerers but not of machines firing continuously at them.
All the sorcerers reacted immediately, and Hojo and Ronnie even moved behind Usami as the last part of 'Shoot!' came out of his throat.
But the situation was getting out of control for the rest of the sorcerers. Dodo hardened his body like a 'diamond,' which protected his body from being pierced by laser beams and normal bullets.
These bullets weren't of any metal but a special kind of radiation created from gamma. These bullets were physically more damaging than iron bullets.
Aaida used her crow to block the attacks as the wings of the crow expanded into a transparent shield, which directly reflected these radiation bullets.
"Why are you throwing your trash at me?" Dodo raised his hand in defense to shield himself from the reflected radiation bullet. He bit his lips as he roared like a lion while continuously throwing soldiers on the ground or walls, while some of them even ended up flying in the air.
Dodo was clearing his path quickly, throwing his hand randomly in the air, hitting anything that came in his hand's path. Even if that is a robotic soldier or a real soldier, everyone ended up hitting the floor.
Amid all this, Oki stood in a corner with a calm face. He stuck himself to the wall, trying not to disturb anyone. His presence was wiped off from the hall.
Black smoke veiled him, and it no longer felt like there was someone hiding there in disguise. Oki's eyes saw everything wide and clear, his vision even piercing through smoke.
Every shot, each step, and all sounds combined with his vision made a virtual map in his mind, a live map. He could sense everyone—Aaida shielding herself, Dodo's aggressive destruction, the soldiers' shots piercing the air, the missile's boom, and even Hojo and Ronnie, who stood behind Usami, with Ronnie's blade slowly touching Usami's throat.
But no one could feel him.
He internally reacted at Dodo, who was throwing his hands crazily in anger, thinking that he would not hit Aaida on her face as she was just a few steps away from Dodo's hand's reach.

"Tell me, what are you planning to do by this?!"
A drop of blood crimsoned the blade of Ronnie's katana, slowly flowing down to the edge. Usami gulped as his body quivered with fear. He gently shook his hand on Ronnie's abdomen, who stood behind Usami. Hojo was staring at him from the front, waiting to hear how he will respond to all this mess.
"Wait, it's not what you are thinking. All—all of it is just a test." Every word that came out of Usami's mouth was carefully considered, as moving his throat too much at his neck would automatically result in cutting his throat by the blade.
"You think we will believe your fucking..." Hojo was going to say more, but Ronnie's hand gesture made him stop speaking. Ronnie carefully removed his katana and came in front of him, of Usami.
"He's not lying." Ronnie put his katana back in its scabbard. He could sense lies instantly if someone's life was dependent on his blade. It was an experience carved out of hundreds of deaths.
Usami gasped for air and cleared blood from his throat. The cut made at his neck was so clean that it was nowhere to be seen. Hojo was wondering about what kind of test this was.
This type of action required a lot of courage and madness, as Hojo could have severed Usami's head if Ronnie hadn't put his blade on Usami's neck a second earlier.
Ronnie was actually a savior for Usami from Hojo.
But still danger hadn't disappeared for Usami. Out of the smoke, Dodo's large fist came right at him, with Dodo's eyes burning in anger.
"No!" Hojo moved his hand a moment before Dodo's hand could burst Usami's head like a bomb of flesh and blood.
As Hojo's hand came near Dodo, his infinity hit Dodo, sending a wave through the air, clearing all the smoke. But that flicker of hand was enough to make Dodo crash wide on the wall, leaving behind a body print on wall when he falled back on floor, spating some blood.
