"To think that all people from our side are already perished..."
Japaloma cursed as he continued focusing on battling with two special grade sorcerers.
If only one special grade sorcerer was present here— he would have already killed him. But the combo of these two was a big headache for him, especially when one of them was master in hiding and sneak attack.
"I'm afraid that I'll need to use my killer move," Japaloma thought, his mind racing hard to end the battle as soon as possible.
Just as he was pondering, a beam of lazer struck toward him and was about to pierce through one of the eyes of Japaloma before he changed his body posture.
His dear eyes were saved by a hair's breadth.
"I can't put down my guard!"
He regained his body balance and immediately sent several large boulders toward Oki and Aaida.
These boulders were pulled apart from the earth, thus creating large pits. It was Japaloma's ability to use the ground to his advantage.
He could manipulate the earth at his will. It was as easy as moving his limbs for him.
That's why he was able to put such heavy injuries on Oki and Aaida, even though they were special grades.
"Do you have any way to deal with this monster?"
Aaida asked Oki as she was putting high hopes on him. She wasn't good at crafting plans.
"Yeah, but it's very risky to execute. If somehow I can adjust to stare in his eyes for at least five seconds, I can alter his brain and soul greatly. Then you can slaughter this demon instantly."
Oki didn't speak anything and transferred his words directly into Aaida's mind. It was one of his abilities.
It wasn't like he didn't get a chance to look in Japaloma's eyes, but every time he tried—his eye contact broke with him, not even lasting three seconds continuously.
Japaloma was very cautious. His eyes never lingered on a single person.
"We don't have any other option, so it's obvious to take risk. What's your plan"
Aaida said to Oki, his eyes remained locked on Japaloma who was also pondering about something.
'I would need to enter your consciousness. Then, you will attract that bastard to kill you and when he will about to kill you, I would get chance to look into his eyes. Once I send my will into his, I can temporarily cease him from using his five senses and moving his body. But you can die for real if any mistake happened.'
Oki sent his thoughts to her, making her understood everything in just a mere second.
Aaida turned to him and started in his eyes.
Oki immediately entered her consciousness without any additional time as she was willing to let him infiltrate inside her mind.
Oki's body with more than half of the consciousness gone was frozen there, showing no movement. In a few breath's time, it faded and collapsed on the ground.
He did this on purpose to leave Japaloma in bewilderement. After he took control of Aaida's body, he rushed toward his enemy.
Japaloma raised his hand and many rocks within it. With an gesture of hand, they all struck toward at Aaisa with a swoosh.
She instantly activated the defence barrier and a large wall emerged from her suit, defending her.
But she didn't stop to dodge, but remained sprinting toward Japaloma.
"You actually dare to approach your death?!"
Japaloma went all out and all kind of rock shot toward Aaida from all directions. He didn't want to let her come near him.
He had already guessed that they were planning something.
Abruptly, a sword materialized in Aaida's hand, giving off a shining red light.
"I didn't want to use this one!"
She roared in anger as her sword smoothly sliced through the rocks like a knife slicing the butter.
Using this sword was draining her cursed energy rapidly.
She was closing the distance with Japaloma quickly. There was no effect of the stones on her speed, although she was struggling to dodge.
Her body had two souls inside it. If Oki wanted to control her body, he could do it easily without her permission.
But he wasn't good at combat. That's why he let Aaida control her body.
"Then dodge this!" Japaloma lowered her body to put his palm onto the earth. Suddenly, large stone pillars protruded from the ground and bended toward Aaida from all directions.
He can't let her come near him so easily.
"F*ck! He was hiding this technique," Aaida moved her body all around to dodge but the number of pillars were too much to evade.
She was about to crush under a pillar when suddenly her sword gave off a dazzling light, blinding the environment.
She swiped her sword whose blade was transformed to a beam of laser and cut all the pillars in single attack.
At the same time, her sword's blade disappeared after its battery became dead. It used all its power in just a single attack.
