After depleting all of his cursed energy reserves, Dabura found himself panting heavily as he gasped for air.
His body suddenly turned extremely weak and frail, his skin pale yellow like all the blood was forcefully sucked out of his body.
He was struggling just for remaining conscious when the backlash of using such a powerful technique struck him, threatening his life.
Although he might be physically immortal, the backlash of using flames of contradiction to such a degree was entirely directed on his soul, making him feel severe mental exhaustion.
He was about to let the dizziness pull him into the slumber when a supreme aura abruptly pressed upon his soul, making his condition more severe.
They survived?! This was naturally the first thought that crossed his mind. But after a little more focus, this aura could easily be distinguished and was actually a hundred times more profound.
"Who—"
His words stopped midway when the scenery before his eyes changed to that of clear blue sky, revealing a young man.
His pupils constricted as he immediately recognized the person, even though his eyes and brain couldn't accept the reality.
His body shuddered violently as he staggered backward, perceiving that person as his death.
His body could not regenerate at this point, leaving him helpless. Therefore, every cell of his body screamed in fear to run.
He seemed to have lost all his hopes. Should he leave everything for fate to do itself? He couldn't help but think this way, since he was ultimately tired and his vitality had diminished greatly.
He continued to ponder about his destiny and regardless of anything, time continued to pass. Amidst his thoughts, he even temporarily abandoned the fear he felt just a moment ago.
Yahaech, who was disguised as Hojo, watched him quietly and felt sorry for him as he continuously read his thoughts.
Dabura was completely broken from inside.
His mental exhaustion was so immense that it even affected Yahaech when he tried to see through his soul.
Should an ordinary mortal have even twenty percent of this amount of soul exhaustion, they would have suffered a regretful death.
But this person of who-knows-which-species was still holding on himself.
"Lemme give you some of my soul strength and vitality."
Yahaech softly extended his right hand toward Dabura, and an invisible thread temporarily linked his soul to Dabura's.
This was the soul conduit, a dual path.
"After this, I'll give you an opportunity to fight me. If you manage to beat me, I will let you go. If the opposite happens, I will happily devour your soul."
Yahaech coldly declared before he began transferring his own soul strength to him.
Immediately, Dabura felt the weight on his soul lessen, and his skin began regaining its lost colour.
It was very comforting and soothing, enough to make anyone addicted to it.
Soon after, his strength returned to him and he was brimming with cursed energy.
Not sparing any extra generosity, Yahaech broke the connection of invisible thread that dissolved in the air afterward.
"Ready now?"
Yahaech calmly asked him while he remained standing there with his hands behind the back. His posture was utterly confident and noble, a smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
Moreover, to match the Dabura's strength, he had restricted his own power for a fair match.
He never expected Dabura to overwhelm and literally defeat him. If Dabura managed to force him to use any extra energy compared to the limit he set on himself, he would consider it as his loss.
"Who are you?"
Before stepping into a fight with an unknown and undoubtedly a supreme existence, he wanted to at least know the identity of this entity.
"I will tell you if you managed to touch my body," said Yahaech as he stood there still, waiting for something interesting with no intention of speaking anymore.
Dabura remained silent for the moment. To be frank, he was extremely unconfident in securing the victory.
Nevertheless, he vanished from his position.
The next instant, hundreds of solid-light beams descended from the heavens, their direction pointing at a single point: head of Yahaech.
When the beams struck, they shattered into countless tiny pieces as something invisible stood between Yahaech and them.
Dabura, who was assessing the opponent's actual strength from a rather discreet place, was stunned to the core as his widened.
"?!?!!"
Infinity Barrier!!! Never in his wildest imagination could he have imagined that this unknown person would turn out to be a six-eye user.
Thinking about six-eyes, he became a little furious and emerged from his hiding spot.
"Don't you have anything better? Use those flames, I want to experience their powers myself," said Yahaech, not even bothering to look toward him.
Dabura immediately realized that the ordinary attacks were of no use to this person. He might even ignore the Domain Expansion like Hojo did.
In the end, he was only left with the flames of contradiction. So, he decided to go all out.
Anchoring his feet firmly to the ground, Dabura clapped his hands and a tiny orb of condensed blood appeared before his hands which then shot toward Yahaech at hypersonic speed.
Next moment, the crimson blood started glowing golden as flames of contradiction enveloped it, allowing it to pierce through Yahaech's Eternif barrier.
"Such a heavenly technique!! It really tore through my space-time barrier!!"
Yahaech was genuinely astonished despite expecting the same results from the moment forth Dabura shot the blood beam at him.
Just as the beam was about to penetrate his throat, Yahaech learned his body in the opposite direction, narrowly dodging the attack at the last moment.
However, the danger still lingered there. Dabura immediately swept the beam like a sword's blade in a horizontal arc.
Yahaech, feeling a little interested in the blood manipulation, immediately saw through the fundamentals of technique and copied it at the exact same moment, creating an identical beam of blood which struck Dabura's.
The beam of blood that Yahaech created was slightly more refined and sharp than Dabura's, immediately bisecting it with several large buildings and Dabura.
"!!!!!!!!!!!!"
This time, Dabura was even more shocked that his pupils shrank and eyes widened simultaneously while his body froze as he forgot to breathe.
He even ignored his torso that was sliced cleanly in two halves. Fortunately for him, it automatically regenerated itself.
'Who the hell he is!!! He can even copy other's techniques exactly like me!!'
He cried inwardly, mistaking that his own ability was similar to Yahaech's. Unbeknownst to him, Yahaech actually had no technique like this. Using his true six eyes at maximum potential, he could immediately copy anything precisely and perform it at the same level if not better.
"Is this all you have got? I'm disappointed."
Yahaech's sudden words snapped him out of his daze and he looked above at Yahaech floating in the sky like a god.
Enraged, he gritted his teeth and leaped at Yahaech, like a mortal trying to reach the Immortals.
"Stop looking down at me!!"
